Ren'Py Looking at other games code

So Iv'e tried a few mapping systems however they all seem tho have there own issue.

I want to open another games code so I can see how they did there coding for them map, the problem is all the coding options are grayed on renpy and i can't figure out why. Anyone know how to open it?
