It was a 18+ Vn, definitely japanese but was officially translated into english, I remember playing it 10+ years ago
it had the choice of girl you could romance almost like a dating sim and there were choices that I think could lead you to bad endings
the mc was in school and all the romance options were other girls in there, the 3 girls I remember where the popular girl that everyone liked, the childhood friend and the tsundere girl that was in your class.
this last one i remember the most because she was the route that I did, I remember she was in the female swimming club and the MC managed to somehow get involved with it (more than this I don't remember)
something else that I rememebr is that the Mc lived alone and he would go to school on a bike ( a normal one ) and this was something the other characters would tease him for or something like it
the grapichal style was similar to the grisaia games (but maybe it could also be that I associet this VN with it because I remember playing it in the same period I also played the labyrinth of grisaia)
I'm also fairly sure that this isn't some unknown or hard to find VN, I think a few years ago I saw some images from it and people discussing it on other sites
