Hey everybody :)

I'd like to ask for your help in finding games with quality lesbian content. It doesn't necesseraily have to be porn, if it is written well.
I really loved Ladykiller in a Bind, I also liked Starlight Drifter, The Proteous Effect, the demo of One Hell of a Week (I hope they'll finish that game), Magi Trials so I'm looking for something similar. It can be RenPy, RPGmaker, HTML, I don't care, what I need is a strong story with actually engaging dialogues and entertaining characters. The protagonist has to a female, (male who becomes female at an earlier part of the game is okay) the game doesn't have to be strictly lesbian only if the romances are optional, it can be text heavy, given that it actually engaging (I didn't like Highway Blossoms for example, as it had long-long conversations that didn't lead anywhere).

I'm really grateful for any good games you can advise. Thank you :)

If you are okay with sci-fi you can play Starship Inanna, you get to choose male or female and whom you romance, I know at least 1 character is pure lesbian so it isn't a player sexual game for the cast.

Another sci-fi game will have a female MC added after the last chapter is done, as of now it has good writing and meaningful choices, and is written by a female, so if you want to keep an eye on it for that time.

A place with a lot more LGBTQ+ games is itch.io, or if you are fine with visual novels, search vndb via tags for your preferences.

I personally enjoyed . You'll need to make your own decision as to whether it's well written or not. It's not rushed, which was a pleasant bonus for me.

In , the "Sono" series was recommended. Starting with . Doing a quick search, it looks like over 10 sequels were written. It's not something I've personally played.

As an alternative way of coming at it, you might also want to have a look at the Again, no indication of actual quality - but as a starting point, it might help you narrow down which games to take a stab at.

Semi Random Game Suggestions:

Finally, there's always the F95zone game browser itself.

Just try searching for "lesbian" as a tag. Personally, for "well written", I'd limit myself to RenPy games, since they tend to be more story than mechanics.

Thank you, but I've played with that, and it was one of the better ones, but it didn't really have a meaningful lesbian storyline. The main routes all were straight, as far as I remember. But this game with a more developed lesbian route would've been perfect for me.

Oh, I didn't know about this game so far. I'll definitely give it a go as soon as it'll have female protagonist :)
I know itch.io (and VNDB too), but honestly, I couldn't really find anything to my taste. I'd like a game with some romance, but not THAT much. That's why I loved Ladykiller in a Bind so much. It had romance, but it was just a part of a very well developed story, not the centerpiece of it.

Thank you :) I'll definitely give Blooming Love a go.
About the others, I tried Sono series and it's really REALLY not my thing. Way too many talk about boring relationship dramas, in the boring high school setting with a typical innocent boring protagonist. I mean, I don't mind the high school setting, if the story is interesting, but it has to offer more than a generic love story.

From what I remember, most of the games are largely lesbian focused. The problem is a lot of their games got put on hold semi recently while they (I assume) had a bit of a rethink about how many games they were working on side by side. But even some of the unfinished ones are still better than average imo. Though not all are 100% lesbian focused.

I don't really want to get into another unfinished game. I love Proteous Effect and it's maybe halfway ready, I love Seraphim Academy and it's like 20-25% ready, and I'm waiting for One Hell of a Week to be released too.
Sorry, I know I'm picky, that's why I'm having such hard time finding a VN to my liking. My ideal game (game as a whole, not just VN) would be Mass Effect with a little more developed romance, a little more daring (and more) sex scenes, and a Jack romancable with Femshep :D

Well, it seems Blooming Love isn't my cup of tea either :( First, I really can't stand when female characters has basketballs instead of breasts in a game. I can accept when they have realistically big ones, but these oversized ones are huge let downs. Second, the game isn't awfully written, but way too soap opera like for my taste. It's all about the relationship part, everything else is merely a background, and it doesn't really have any humor. I mean about the first one and a half hour, as I gave up after that.
But thanks for the advice, it worthed a shot :)

There is also Sensual Samantha. It's unfortunately incomplete and I don't think that she will complete the game but it's probably the most playable lesbian(with lesbian I don't mean 'lesbian' from a male pow) game that you can find.

If you ever find any games that have a genuine lesbian story in them, then please, please let me know.

Thank you for the advice :) I will definitaly try this game. About the second part, so far I only know the ones I mentioned earlier.
I really enjoyed Ladykiller in a Bind. The writing is remarkable, the main character is awesome, not your typical innocent schoolgirl, but neither a porn trope. Well, she isn't sexually abstinent type, but it's realy up to you how sexual you make her during the events of the game. It has many-many choices, and they are actually meaningful. I mean not in the usual VN style, where picking a wrong color shirt can lead to a undesired ending without an explanation. Here you can see how your decisions will end. Probably. Except if you got tricked by the people around you, because the game has many characters with more or less shady intentions. Oh, and the sex scenes are written incredibly well. Though most of them lean toward BDSM, but not in the nonsense 50 Shades way.
My other favorite I mentioned here was Starlight Drifter. It isn't exactly lesbian, nor porn that much, but an awesome game for sure. If you like sci-fi. You can choose the gender of your character, but more or less only the romancable companions change, so that part isn't written that well. The story, and the characters on the other hand... They are awesome. But again, it's more of a sci-fi VN with some little romance and adult content, than an adult game.
And the one I found only recently here, which I would absolutely recommend, is Seraphim Academy. Lesbian(or bi, your choice) protagonist, cool story, great characters... A little bit like a boarding school version of Orange is the New Black. It has a straight scene at the begining, but it's an important part of the story. It has drama (not annoyingly too much) it has mystery, it has great conversations. Unfortunatelly it's like one fourth, or just one fifth of a finished game, but it is still in developement, the creators are active, so there is a good chance it will be finished.
There is One Hell of a Week, which is only a demo at the moment. I'm not sure if it will include adult content, but the main protagonist is lesbian, and the demo was entertaining as hell. I mean literally Hell, as Devil himself is your sidekick in a Hawaiian trip, where MC is trying to find love. Both MC, and Lucifer are funny, the art looks great, so far the introduced romance canditates too. They promised to finish the game this year.
The Proteous Effect is great too, however it's more like an MMORPG parody, but an awesome at that. MC is a guy in this one, but as he is hired to test a virtual reality game, due to some complications he becomes female in the virtual world. I'm not that much of a fan of gender switch themes, but this time it works great. It can be played for the adult scenes, but they are optional, and the game itself is hilarious (you just have to learn to live with the fact that MC is dumb as a rock).

My main two recommendations however would be Ladykiller in a Bind, and Seraphim Academy. The first is a finished game, and probably the best VN I've ever played with, the second is far from finished, but it would be my first choice from the currently developed games with serious lesbian content.

I'd recommend Jessica O'Neil's Hard News, especially now that the lesbian storyline is starting to heat up. You'll have some mandatory sex scenes with the boyfriend early on though, but it's tolerable for the sake of story. I think at least two of the future long-term romance interests will be female.

High Life also has a ton of potential, but the devs have dropped the ball and have only recently tentatively picked it back up. But if they continue on developing it, it could be one of the best female protagonist VN's here.

I don't know why you think all the main routes in Good Girl Gone Bad are straight, because I think the romance with Eva is one of its most developed storylines.

Also, Milf's Tale is abandoned, but most of the options are lesbian and what is there feels like a self-contained story, even if a bit short.
