VN - Ren'Py - Abandoned - Lord of Imagination [Ep. 4.5 NTR] [AgentGames]

Played: episode 3 reboot, mostly good path.
I was fairly pleasantly surprised with the storyline and the pacing of the writing. There's a lot going on all the time, and a lot to tell and explain, but it didn't feel like the writing was drawn out forever. It's a good mix between explaining what's going on and action (violence or other action).
The renders are pretty good, characters are nice as well.
Definitely worth the time for those who like a sexy mix of modern times and fantasy.

This is an enjoyable game if you can forgive the plot holes and non-sensical story jumps.

The Good

- MC is a sarcastic and witty guy that I enjoyed playing. He isn't 'the dumb as a piece of wood' simp that we normally get.
- Girls are very fuckable, the mother is an often used model in these games but always welcome.
- The overall story is fun, but hardly unique.
- Graphics range from okay to pretty good.

The Bad

- The MC is way too young to make much sense in the story. Since when do we make 22 yo college drop outs the leader of a Mafia empire? Too much suspension of disbelief required to make the story plausible. Oh, and he's a criminal mastermind making big decisions despite having no background in anything.
- The story jumps from mini plot to mini plot with no consistency. One second we are discussing the end of the world, the next we are talking about forging documents so mom can get a job.
- Some scenes happen out of nowhere. All of a sudden I'm on a date with the shrink at an art exhibition despite no build up or discussion about it. At first though it was a bug, but who knows?
- In earlier versions of this game there were ntr options, most seem to have been removed. What choices you have left feel pretty hollow. You either play a boring hero or a simp that doesn't make any sense.
- The MC has gotten all this great powers and continues to worry about trivial shit. You have mind control ffs, fuck everything and get rich. How hard is it????

The Ugly

- Sex scenes are mostly stills with no animation and a little unsatisfying.
- The demoness character is very inconsistant. A menacing demi god one second, a friendly genie at your command the next.

Despite all its faults its still fun to play. I imagine the things that annoyed me will be happily overlooked by most people. Good game to play if you got a couple hours to waste.

The game has a nice story so far, i like the demon and hope for some scenes with her and the other girls are all nice also.
The flow of the story is written good enough to be easy enough to follow and keep you guessing what is going on and who is not trustworthy.

This was a pretty damn good story. Great character. Good design. Can't wait for more! And definitely more sex and ntr scenes. Wish there were some more dialogue choices to break up the long exchanges of text though.

Play as James, a young man with mental health issues who sees himself thrust into a ancient battle between two deities as the newest champion of the Goddess Zelphryna. Battle that may decide the destiny of humankind.

From that premise Lord of Imagination starts with a very elaborated story and interesting characters.
Is Zelphryna a enemy or simply the worst kind of ally? She may seem trustworthy sometimes but in others she show herself as a cold manipulative being.
Carl is also another interesting character. Trying to model James after himself as a ruthless champion of Zelphryna.

Game also counts with some really pretty 3D renders a few branching paths depending on the players choices.

My only gripe is the lack of ambient sounds and music. But maybe that will be changed in the future.

All in all this is definitely a recommended game.

This one is a bit tricky to review, since the game started not long ago. Yet, there are some things to consider.

The game itself looks good. I mean it. The story, even tho using a constantly repeated theme (demon that gives you powers) makes it look special. At least for me, the game made me interested in discovering and using the powers. The main story still needs to take shape, but it looks good so far.

About the renders, i have to give the game 10/10. The girls look incredible, specially the milf. She got my attention right away and seem to be, alongside the girldfriend, the main targets of our MC. I would not be surprised if many consider the Milf one of the prettiest ones from adult games. Not a unique face, but well done.

As for the animations, the game also gets a positive point. Even tho my favorite animation got removed (milf one), we could already see the incredible work from the developers and coders. If you are looking for a nice animated game, this one might serve you well in a couple more updates.

The mechanics are hard to rate, since its in early devepment, but considering the good work in other areas, i bet it will be nice.

So, in general, i would recommend this game. As soon as i played it, it became one of my favorites. Cant wait for more content.

Idk if i had a wrong copy of the game or there are some missing files but for me the game jumped from scene to scene and i asked myself constantly what just happened ? And then the game put me to the main menu, like ... what, WHAT (i think the last chapter ended) ? Also the dialogues are very wierd, in a way ? I got very confused almost every scene.

But the game took an interesting approach with the conditions of the main character and the "Mother", that was interesting.

Maybe i will look for more updates in the future.

I was following your game through the start.
I was so excited with the 0.2 Version that I almost worte a review in such an early development stage despite the risk of the game not continuing into it's amazing standards.

Then my heart beated fast upon seeing the next update only to figure out the butchery the social justice warriors of the anti-NTR wave caused...

5 stars from me for both the story telling and the risk you took with this "cursed" fetish.

Keep it up and try to ignore all of those who want to mess with your ideas about the game.

It has a nice beginning. The models look good. The storyline is intriguing and does have some mysterious background and Plot is also very promising. Dev did add ntr( avoidable) so it isn't infuriating. A very promising game somewhat different from other games on the site. You don't have to grind in this game so that's a plus. Overall great experience playing the game. Definitely looking forward to the upcoming updates.

Hm, pretty good. It's not a mindless fuckfest game and there are a lot of choices to allow you to cater the game to your liking. I think this game has a lot of potential especially after the little cliffhanger. The story is exciting and intriguing and the dialogue seems to be interesting and convey meaning which surprisingly is quite rare.

One odd thing unless I somehow missed it was that the girlfriend seemingly fell out of existence but perhaps I got confused or something. Definitely worth a try.

Tons of potential.

As it's obviously so early on then nothing super crazy happens just some interesting world building and a little smut... but looking at the tags: paranormal, rape, incest, mind control, superpowers ... it's like it's ticking off all my wishlist... maybe group sex is the only one I can think of that's missing.

What there is in the game is incredibly well done ... the women are hot (especially the demon lady - love those eyes), the renders and smut is well done including the little animations... and I really got into the world and the story and was looking forward to going forth and conquering, as it were... only downside is just how short it is, but it's so good I wonder if I'll be able to hold back until a full release or if I'll have to keep checking in with it.

Okay, this has a lot of potential. I like the supernatural aspect of it. Renders are great. I was able to avoid NTR easily and as long as NTR doesn't become a plot point the way that the dev got rid of it looks like it would be easy to do in the future so they can please the NTR fans and those of us who don't like it.

Well, after playing through this new version, I must say, I actually like the MC taking a beating to protect his mom.
That's really the kind of shit I like, because sometimes you do lose, but you at least have to stand up for yourself and those you love.

That being said, I could have lived with the mind-control rape, if at some point the MC would really be able to turn the tables and make BBC pay. (because in incest porn game logic, it's of course only the MC who is allowed to fuck his mom )

The only thing I fear now is that the dev might spread himself too thin by giving this wide variety of options, he should try to get back to one or two strings again, so he doesn't power himself out, having to write and render too many different options.

I know we all want meaningful decisions, but it also has to stay manageable.
I've seen too many good games die, because the dev just didn't manage to keep going with the many paths.
And it's no fun when games start out multi-path and then reduce your options more and more.

Anyway, the writing on this is good, the renders look fine so far (the women we have seen), of course you would wish for some models you haven't seen in five dozen other ren'py games, but I try not to fault devs for their limited options in this regard.

This game was a solid from the start, even with the unavoidable rape/mindcontrol/ntr, but now it's something to really look out for.

I also want to include a response to one of the other reviewers who wrote something along the lines of:
"Anyway; be warned that if you go into this expecting something that will allow you to explore a multitude of avenues regarding your fetishes or desires, you will be sorely disappointed."

It really doesn't seem like a fair review at all. It's basically a punishment for the game not giving the player what he wants, not because there's anything bad with the game, not to mention that with a first release it is kind of ridiculous to declare the game won't allow you to explore many fetishes and desires.
It's an introduction to some of the characters and the story, there could literally be dozens of fetishes included in later versions, we simply don't know yet.

Really good game indeed. Quite interesting concept - despite the fact that I'm not really into paranormal and science fiction - which is being deployed smoothly. Amazing renders and pretty good animation with great views.

- A little more 'paranormal' for my liking.
- Not very intriguing plot, meaning that despite it has choices, it seems more like a linear story.

Point of clarification: This review was made on the very first release of the game, and hinged on an aspect that is apparently no longer an issue with the succeeding updates. I've been meaning to update it once I've replayed a later version, but never had the chance to do either.

As a whole, this review is mostly inapplicable now. I won't formally change it quite yet, because I haven't played any other version of the game. Just clarifying because this blew up for some odd reason.

The models are hot, and the premise is interesting. Not much else to say on that front except the scenes could use a bit more fleshing out; a 3-second clip of floppy flesh bits isn't a lot of fun to watch. That's a star off.

Setting preferences towards the nature of the content aside, this has potential to be a great game.

Delving deeper into that nature though, be warned that you are forced to share and it is completely unavoidable. It's not quite NTR or you getting cucked, but sharing isn't something everyone likes.

Ironic that a game titled "Lord of Imagination," with an overview that specifically mentions having "the power to make all the wishes come true," would severely restrict a player's agency. That's never fun. 2 stars off for that.

Anyway; be warned that if you go into this expecting something that will allow you to explore a multitude of avenues regarding your fetishes or desires, you will be sorely disappointed.

The Game has a Great Crime Opening,with Violence.
The Mother is a Hot Milf that I have seen before,and also a nice Interracial scene in it (The Black is also Known from other Games).
All in all a Great Opening for a Game,and believe me it is not as boring as many other v.01`s out there, the Gameplay is pretty long and lets you get the feel for the story,I just hope to see the Game continue and find out what the mysterious lady wants from the kid.
