Overview:
You play as Luke Wheeler, son of a recently-deceased weapons tycoon. As you discover your new-found superpowers, you'll have to also look out for knives in the dark as a shadowy organization trying to kill you. The only way to survive is to team up with people that have similar superpowers. What a strange and curious thing that most of them happen to be smoking hot women.
Join Luke in a journey filled with lust, deception and betrayal as he overcomes the grief of losing his family in the most unhealthy ways as he gets better.... or worse.
PS: This game is a spin-off of Darklight. It won't have NTR and neither will Darklight.

So is it the same MC as the first? How much similar or different is it to the first game?

No, the previous MC is the percieved antagonist. The previous game had good and bad paths, this one just had the bad path. Generally, there'll be fewer choices so that I can finish this game quickly. There'll be mind control though it'll be more subdued. The MC is a massive cunt and pretty much the polar opposite compared to the LoI protag.

Edit: This is no longer true. The MC is going no longer going to be a "massive" cunt. Not in the beginning anyway. There'll be both good and bad paths now.

So we are the bad guy this time then? Looking at the tags plus that description it doesn't seem like there will be a romantic type harem, or much chance to influence this MC's behaviour.

Less of a bad guy, more of a antihero, I suppose. There will be romance, just to lesser extent.As for influencing MC's behaviors, there'll be choices but yes, they won't change the MC's personality as much as the ones in LoI did.
Edit: Again, there'll be romance options as well now.

Oh nice an antihero I much prefer. So how much does this actually impact the story of LoI and will it be mentioned in the reboot if you are still planning on it?

Well, one of the endings of this story will be the canon one and that one will feature in the main game. By the end of LoI, the MC of this story will be a major player in that story.
