Maybe you could try to give the title a little more thought, it doesn't have to be groundbreaking or anything.

Will the tone of the story change too much depending on story branching decisions? or will it be a relatively similar? The game seems to contain a romance tag, but it seems to be focused on vengeance and have some slavery elements that may or may not play a big role in the game. Having in mind that it has a romance path, will some paths be lighter than others?

Selling wood doesn't seem to give any money, even after the hotfix. Also a lot of the NPCs still refer to me as 'slave' despite being a beggar now.

I am open to criticism and suggestions for improvements.
He is right, Battle for throne sounds too simple, its not even Battle for the throne, which would be the right way to emphasis your current state, but that doesn't really suit too as you have already lost the battle for the throne.
It needs to be something that suggests your throne and kingdom is taken away from you, and you are trying to get it back.
My suggestions according to the plot, haven't played it yet so it's just superficial name:
Revenge of the Fallen Crown
Lord of the Lost throne
Crownless Vengeance
Regent in Exile
Revenge of the Lost Lord

To be honest, after trying to write three different quests, I realized how strange it was. At the very least, it was more difficult than I thought. It took me several days just to close off other possibilities if I chose only one of them (I just fixed that today). But still, it depends more on public opinion. Yes, it's my game, but I really love reading other people's ideas. So I can't say for sure whether the story will change based on the player's choice. I will continue to make choices possible, but the impact on the overall story... It's difficult but possible. I will try to expand the story with possible choices because this project is serious for me, not like my past ones.

As for light and other paths, yes, this choice is expected in the game, different options for interacting with women. Romance, enslavement, etc. I can say right away that this will not be with everyone, because from the hero's point of view, I can say that the people listed as “enemies,” except for the last one, are people he hates, and the hero will try to ruin their lives as much as possible. Accordingly, I cannot add a romantic path to characters whom the main character hates. Other characters (of which there will be many, I really hope) will have several paths for relationship development. This will make the game replayable, which is a very important aspect for such a game. But I can't say that I will show this in version 0.2, because the content for 0.2 is already outlined in the todo list, and it will be more of a refinement of what already exists (the WIP v0.2 tabs in the game) and the development of new characters, deepening the story, and several new mechanics that I didn't want to do in 0.1.

Regarding the name of the game. It was conceived before any code or even a story was created; it is simply the name of the project. However, seeing that you are not the first person to comment on the inappropriate name, I am considering changing it.

People in the game will not stop calling you a slave because of a piece of paper saying that you are a free man. Getting the beggar rank in the game literally means getting a few coins and completing a quest to get a new rank. Passers-by still see you as a broken slave. Dialogues will change when the hero becomes a little more popular, when he gain some reputation, and when he earn hiw “name.” Again, a piece of paper about being freed does not change public opinion about a person.


Regarding the selling in the store, could I ask you to send me the HTML file with your save to my Discord? So that I can test the changes and fix this bug.
