The fight scenes needs work, instead of walking up to each creature, It should be like most RPG games and show them all at once and choose who to fight.

Iirc, in the morning at the farm, head over to where the farmer and the cowgirl are (to the left of the crops), and talk to them. One of them gets you the milk. I think talking to the cowgirl is what does it, but not sure, maybe it's the farmer you have to talk to.
