I have to be honest, i wish i could pay an artist to make sketch and finish the work with Ai, i tryed once with my ex and it worked surprisingly well. The best thing with this technic is that you can get the perfect position, actors and background.

And as of this game, yes i'm going to polish it but i don't think i will had more elements to the game as it will require to recode the whole battle system and maybe more, that's why i'm making a whole new game with this time better code and more content (with story this time! Yay!).

Yeah it would be nice, but if you could pay an artist, best would be to do everything with 2d cg and not AI.
I understand going the AI route for an indie dev, much cheaper to get started, and it seems you found a formula that works quite well, I'm really surprised that your renders are AI !
