tbf, they're right. After a certain point, you don't have a monster girl, you have a girl monster. Which is perfectly valid, but definitely a different thing.

Personally though I don't draw the line at just ears that's barely anything. For me the line starts being crossed when the monsterous female in question gets a snout, or a crazy non-humanoid bodyplan (i.e. walking on all fours with no arms or something), or they're absolutely coated in scales or fur. At which point they stop appealing to me.

But having one eye or four arms or even paws isn't a dealbreaker, for me. There's some wiggle room. I do prefer my, as the disparagers say, "cosplayers", but I find some people act like anything more human than a Xenomorph Queen is somehow befouling the name of monstergirls.

Point being, medium is premium. I like exploring the alternate biologies, but I can't get it up if they look like la creatura.
Oh yes, I'm not going to start such topics, and even on game discord, I politely asked in the rules that no one start this war xd about what is a monster girl and what isn't, as fans, we've gotten almost nothing over the years, so the last thing we need is to argue, over the years, more than one game has died because of such divisions in the community. Just go back to the most popular games in the world about monster girls, namely Monster Girl Quest 2 parts and their fan games, where the total number of monster girls reaches hundreds. I've never played them myself, I prefer 3D games, but there were some really strange species there, nevertheless, together with the Monster Girl Encyclopedia, various artworks, and people's reactions, its popularity did not come out of nowhere.
It's not for me to judge, if I wanted to make a popular game, I would make a full furry + futa game with action in a hotel, adding characters and scenes with each update, and that's it.

As for my preferences, it varies, but maybe that's because I love monster girls not only as material for you-know-what, but as a fantasy concept, for example, a wolf girl can have ears and hairy hands, but a werewolf girl, even though I'm not into furry, doesn't fit my image of werewolves as just another girl with ears, I also prefer the spider girlwith half spider rather than having four extra human arms on her back or three pairs of eyes on head, being an ordinary girl in a school uniform, it depends.

There are many such examples. I'm not going to force every girl to be a caricature, but I'm not going to make girls with only small elements either. If I were to do that, it would be better to just copy the body of each girl and change one or two elements, but I would get bored.

It all depends on the scale of the project. If I'm going to be doing it all by myself throughout its duration, it will be more difficult to fit in two types of girls. If it proves to be more successful, I can always hire people and create two versions of each character.

After all, I want everyone to find something for themselves, because both types of fans have huge gaps in the genre, not when it comes to 2D, because there are still a lot of games there, but 3D first person which are still being made?
Eh I'm glad they're being made, but considering my 15-year-old adventure with monster girls, there weren't many of them.

I'd love to address thismore, yes you right, there are plenty of people who call out people, who prefer cosplay instead of the monster girls that the other group loves and what image do they have of them, but on the other hand, I've also read thousands of comments over the years, where if a girl has paws, she's already a furry and not a monster girl.

People are insulted, accusing people of zoophilia, as if there were always so many extremes. Personally, I've always been incredibly tired of reading these kinds of discussions, I don't know why they exaggerate it so much. When I see a post by a girl with cat ears getting the same number of reactions and likes as some ant girl with an alien face, what's the point?

We can and we should debate, but such arguments and just ,,fuck you, you're wrong because I'm the real fan of monster girls not you" have often led to a game's community being divided into factions, with the creator unsure which side to take, ultimately giving up on making games.
I don't want to list all these examples and open wounds for fans of specific titles and a lot of people will know what games I'm talking about , but there have been many of them. Not to mention the number of developers who openly said they hated their community and stopped making games because of it, despite earning not small money from the game.

Another fix has arrived on itch, it turned out that there was something wrong with the button before the scene with Eli, which sometimes prevented further progress in it what can't be in the game, and I removed the test button for building a grave, also I changed the physics of Eli's tear particles, removed the additional collider, etc. so they won't fly as far.

Sorry for the trouble anyone who had that problem.

Someone here was faster with updload, well as always, we have another update, and as always, version 0.0.6B will be released in a month, followed by version 0.0.6 two weeks later, and so on.
There are changelogs, but I'll paste the graphics because why not?

There wasn't supposed to be any characters until 0.0.6, but two came out, not counting Saya's and the hero's revamps. Something went wrong, lol.
The question is whether this will delay the character that was supposed to come out in the next update? It was supposed to be a bat or a centaur, if I'm not mistaken.

You're right, the next character after Eli was supposed to appear more in 0.0.6.

But lets start with the most important thing, your question about 0.0.6, nothing changes here, it was supposed to be a character, so it will be a character. Obviously, it would be better if I focused on one character instead of five, but I also want something to happen in the game with each update, rather than just adding a bush to the village.

As for Lisa, I mentioned somewhere that I would like her to be added as soon as possible because she will be useful for a few things, since she is not currently a main character (she does not live in the village), etc. She can be treated as a regular “fence” added to the game.

My work has been redirected to the centaur after releasing the test version a week ago, even though Ayame is mostly done, although I have a problem with her wings (they could have been made 100 times easier, like the succubus or dragon's), but to make her stand out, I made them connected to her hands/fingers, and there's a mess with rig.

Selena could also be finished because, similarly, a lot has been done, but it's a side thing, so I'm not going to rush it.
I'm working on the centaur and as I said it would appear, so it will appear, if something is wrong, I'll make up for it and fix it later. There are almost no centaurs in 3D games, so I'm looking forward to seeing it in the game, this more massive species will certainly stand out among the other characters in the game, girls who are quite small, except for Vanya.

Update 0.0.6 is here, and with it comes the promised centaur. It's not really a typical classic design, but I hope some of you will like it anyway. There isn't much to the character itself yet, as there are a few other things going on, but it will get more content soon.

Not the biggest fan of monster girls but I love foot fetish and that scene in the preview looks glorious.

It's actually good that the elf has this scene, since you are not monster girls biggest fan :D
It was my first scene like that, and overall the quality of the animations isn't very good yet, they lack fluidity and variety, but you have to start somewhere.
As my skills improve, I'll always be able to improve this scene.
Regardless, I'm looking forward to your review with pleasure ^^

Good game, the cyclops eye is a tad to big lol
I'm glad you like the game, although I realize it's still lacking in many ways.
It's been a long time since I've looked closely at Vanya in this regard. When I was creating her at the beginning, before she was supposed to be a cyclops, she had two eyes. I removed the middle and somehow connected them into a whole.

But just today, I was thinking a little about my cyclops because the erotic scene there is terrible, the hair, clothes, animations, her house, and other things.
So I don't know if I'll give her a slightly more powerful redesign, probably not soon because I'd like to introduce more interesting and new content, but she will be revamped.

Just quickly, we know that the position of the eye vertically and other things should be corrected for such a comparison, but as a curiosity, perhaps looking at the one in the middle and the one on the right, i.e., the original, the eye can be too big.

I'll keep that in mind when I work on it. I also wanted it to stand out more, and considering the anime style known for larger eyes, that's how it turned out, but maybe I overdid it. It's hard to judge all this on my own, so any advice is welcome.

Please include option for choosing resolution. At the moment game is pretty much unplayable for me as I can't even save as the button for it is apparently outside of the game window. Doesn't matter if the game is fullscreen or windowed.

Oh, that's not good to hear. I've always had some problems with this resolution, in theory, Unity shows me that everything is great at every resolution in the simulation.
And in theory, the entire UI should always adapt to every resolution.
Can I ask what resolution you have? Maybe it will help me in my tests.

Anyway sorry for the problems with the game, I'll get right on it and take a closer look at what's wrong.

Version 0.0.6F1 has appeared on itch.
Apparently, I still have some minor issues with perfectly handling every resolution that has been reported to me, so I added an option to change the resolution in the game to whatever you want. This may also contribute to better optimization on weaker hardware, i.e., choosing a lower resolution.
Additionally, at the lowest resolution, you have a gaming simulator like on PSX xd
I hope that this quick fix, which may not be perfect at the moment, will allow those who had problems with the UI to enjoy the game.
I apologize to everyone for the problems with the game.

I'm wondering if there will be a character like Sharkgirl from Monster Girl Island?
I would really like to add shark, so she definitely will be included. I'm a fan of shark girls, so aquatic girls will definitely appear.
It would be easier for me to list who I wouldn't want to add to the game.
I might not have enough time in my life to add everyone I would like to xd, but who knows what the future will bring

The first Vanya scene seems to include her torso inverting near the point of climax. I assume that's an error.

The Yuni scene looked very strange, my guess would be that the player model is supposed to be animated in that scene but it just stood as still as a statue. On the positive side, I like the unconventional body used for her.

It would be quite nice to be able to skip to the next animation loop. Also, will Saya be 'interactable' or is she just there as a guide?

I really want a skip or progress to next pose or something because sometimes I just want to move on after being stuck on a pose for a while, especially for scenes that don't do anything for me like the footjob scene (Why is it so long?! I feel like I've been here FOREVER)

The worst nightmares are finally coming true, but unfortunately, this is not a Halloween special.
Something really bad must have gone wrong there. This is my first animation and the first scene of this type in my life, and actually, it hasn't been touched since the game started because everything there needs to be completely redone.
Since I often hear from fans that they want more new and interesting content rather than revisiting old stuff, the previous scenes have not been revamped yet.

I even considered removing these scenes so that they wouldn't spoil the game's reception so much, although I often post imperfect content at the expense of a worse reception, but so that the game updates wouldn't contain two lines of changelog talking about fixing two bugs.

I haven't seen this problem before.

That's how it always looks on my end, but I'm just providing this information. I don't want it to sound like some bullshit like, “Everything works on my end, so there must be something wrong with yours.”
And just to be sure, I'll repeat that this scene is just terribly done, so there are probably more errors that I'm not aware of and it is, of course, my fault.

I'm providing screenshots to show that it wasn't supposed to be hidden at that moment or look like that, and I don't even know what went wrong there. There are shapekeys/ blendshapes that slightly deform Vanya's body so that it fits better in clothes, but in these animations, neither the code nor the animation itself moves these bones, and the player's body is missing.

Ehh, the nightmares of the past are coming back xd
All I can do is apologize for this scene at the moment because it looks terrible. There are a few ways to fix it, but even after a lot of repairs and improvements, this scene will still be terrible, so I don't know how much time to spend on it right now, especially since there is a lot of new content planned that I have to get done.
