Not into scrabble.. but the art looks interesting soo gj on them for making interesting art.

It's not scrabble. The words part is part of the enchanting system where you basically have X amount of Mana, and each letter consumes a Mana. So for example if you place the word "Fire" on the field will consume 4 Mana and hitting as many bonus fields as possible (+2 stats, x2 multipliers and etc) will give you better enchantmens and make the weapon more valuable and let you sell it for more and you make a profit that way to buy upgrades and such.

taking inspiration from the cartograph and scrabble!

I find the potion making games tedious and boring enough, especially for such games .. playing scrabble though is just taking it too another level and less related which doubly worse imo (again unless was into scrabble then it be cool I suppose).

Does not matter if its like limiting the amount you can spell out and unlocking more too spell out... in fact that honestly worse... if going to do enchanting fun with scrabble then, it would be awesome as heck if it allowed anything like enchanting should and made Scrabble into Scribblenauts.
