I've read the thread regarding v0. 07, and watched a WT, and I still don't know how to finish the 'visit amy' quest.

It says I should check my phone to see what mom needs. But I can't do it. I need help

Even without the WT you just need to read the monologue of the MC, he literally says everything you need to know. So just don't rapidly click somewhere, but READ THE TEXT.

After the MC sister Amy is shot, she goes to a hospital. MC is there too, but leaves with his neighbor to go back to his house.

One of the quests in the game is to go back to the hospital and visit his sister Amy, who survived the gunshot wound.

But before he can go he needs to check his phone to see if his mom needs anything. She is at the hospital with his sister.

Nothing can be accomplished in the game until the MC checks his phone for any message from his mom.

If you click on the map to go to the hospital, you can't, because the game has a message to check if mom needs anything.

I have looked everywhere for the MC's phone, but I can't find it to check for the message, so I can get what mom might need, and then visit sister Amy in the hospital.

So, I need to find my phone. THE WT ended before the game got to this point, and I can't find the phone. Nor can I find an answer online.

That's that dev' problem. Honestly I discover the game at v0.0.6 and there was much hate about the fact he was not enough fast to release updates about his game. He said last time that he had some problem so that v0.7 would be not a great update but that after next updates would be in a good timing with much content in it. So I'm thinking he needs something like 3 months for each poor release and that we need to call him to have some news.
His (I assume he's a man) game is so fucking good ! But it is poor in content. I'm feeling disappointed about it.
That's a pity !

So I think if you did 0.7 wait 0.8 then look if there is enough content for 3 months. You need to arbitrate yourself.

It's January, a lot of games haven't updated since last year. Two-three months for an update is slow, but saying it has been a year is flagrantly disingenuous.

The only way to help someone with developing the game faster is to pledge on patreon.He has 664 patreons and needs 2-3 months for an update.Icstor has 4000 and needs 2 months for a larger one.Veqvil probably doesnt have many employees if any.

Bullshit, i follow this game since beginning. I remember when he was still active here and has less than 50 patrons. He was talking often about that he want to do monthly or at least bi-monthly updates. Now he have 660 patrons which is pretty good. And guess what? absolutely nothing has changed since than, it is even worse, now we have 3-4 months between updates, and the amount of content in them is small. Supossedely he has some personal issues some time ago, but for me it looks like he have them all the time.
And the amount of money he have from patreon doesn't really mean anything.
Ever heard of Gumdrop? more than 8000 thousands $ monthly, around 9 months without update(i don't even count this christmas episode)
Eromancer - more than 5000 $ monthly, more than two years since last big update
A few more that i know, and probably lots of other examples about which i have no idea.
So as i said earlier, support from patreon doesn't mean anything, if someone finds excuses all the time.

You're right. Having more patrons translates to having more cash and that's it. You would hope that the extra cash is put back into game development but that's not always the case. Work ethic and ability are two different things and you would hope that the cash helps with both but, again, not always the case.

That said, considering the change to a hybrid required a pretty big coding change and unless you work with Python on a daily basis, it's not an easy task. To be able to render, code and create a story line by yourself is quite difficult and if you're able to do all of them then becoming a dev would be an option wouldn't it? Until you've experienced that and understand how long it takes to create something like that, it's best to appreciate it's still being worked on.

Compared to other games, sure it's been a while but I'd encourage to all who think it's been very slow progression to try being a dev to understand the amount of time and effort required to create content.

To everyone insinuating things, @Vequil was never the one to rip people off by intentionally being slow with updates as some other authors have been known to. He did however mention having some personal issues when he published the previous version, if I recall correctly, so I hope he is doing ok.

He did post here he's working on a 0.8 about a month ago and on his Patreon page a few days ago, so let's give him some more time before we bring out the torches and pitchforks, shall we? It has only been a bit over 2 months since the last update after all.
