So I think this is what my issue is. I never get a prompt to enter the serial.

Is there any solution for my problem at all? It's pretty annoying that I can't play this game whatsoever.
Like I said, I tried running it on a virtual machine, one that has absolutely no AV whatsoever and I got the same error I would've gotten if I did the same thing on my native desktop. I'm really stumped.

The main girl's route is my least favorite route I've ever had the misfortune of reading in any VN I've ever read. What a cunt.
I have the problem that, whatever I do, a window pops up with "now loading" and after two seconds it closes again. Great.

Is your system locale set to Japanese? Have you tried running the game in administrator mode?
i found out the problem. the hook.dll is taken as a troajangeneric on certain av. i used bitdefender for example. but mine still works after deleting it. even avast. but the important.text mention it. if gone it probably deactivate the hook up to the no dvd process

did you click on start exe instead and inserted the code? also in some cases the av can notice the hook.dll as a virus or pup. it's actually important since hook.dll make you play the vn without dvd emulater.
