• About Liriens Situation. I am sorry, but the initial scene is required to work for the story we have in mind for her. This is and will be the only scene where we will see sex that does not contain MC-Ansel. I will be thinking about an option to skip this scene if people are reaaaally hating that aspect, but to reiterate, it is an integral part of her Story and her motivations.

After playing the game, I have to say 1) If the goal of the first scene is to piss off the players, it succeeded perfectly with me. In fact, just when it seemed like it was finally over, it returns again, making me more than twice as piss off. 2) I hope we can avoid Liriel, because after watching the beginning, my interest in her has been confirmed to be below zero.

In the end, what the opening scene did was reduce my desire to continue playing and eliminate a LI. I suspect that's not the intention. And anyway, I haven't read a single line of the entire scene (nor am I going to; I don't care what's said there), since I closed my eyes and pressed the left mouse button as fast as I could until it seemed to me the scene was over (twice, since the scene repeats a second time). And yes, the boyfriend is an idiot, so I'd rather not know anything about either of them.

We will NOT have NTR in this game EVER, except the very first scene where the LI and MC do not have any relationship yet at all. (which I now notice is already devisive, even though I thought it doesn't really count, but eh...) In contrast you will steal away that LI from the idiot in the beginning.
I know it's hard to earn trust when it is nothing more than some words in a thread, but we both do not like NTR in our stories as well. What we do like is Netorase. That's why we need an LI in a relationship for her to be able to be stolen.

We want to make a meaningfull game, with deep but fun mechanics and a story with characters that you will want to slam down onto your bed as much as hug and headpet.
Nothing more, nothing less ^^

As for scene roadmap:
Currently there are 3 main heroines planned:
- Callisdra
-- will have most content in the beginning, general stuff with focus depending what fans want most.
- Lirien
-- will be self-blackmailed first, then stolen by MC
- 3rd mystery Girl
-- will have a lot of loving BDSM scenes

In addition there will be a few NPC girls with smaller level stuff, not as fleshed out.

Lirien will be the only one you steal. The other 2 you will meet and conquer yourself, without any other involvement.

Ansel will never be content with being a cuck. He would rather break the rules of quantum physics before getting NTR'd!

We didn't expect to have such a strong reaction to one scene with Lirien, but that doesn't mean that reaction isn't valid, the body wants what the body wants.

This won't be a simple solution though. The story we want for Lirien is important to us as well. Netori for us is pretty hot (thanks RayBar for the correct term :3). Again the body wants what the body wants ^^

That's why we ask kindly once more for all your feedback, what acceptable solutions would be. What we have come up with for now:

• add a skip button for the first scene, Liriens(red head) relationship with Lucian(blonde) will be implied but not explicitly shown. Ansel-MC introduces world while complaining about both of them.
  • this option has stronger Netori vibes but retains Liriens sexual connection with Lucian
• option to replace Lirien with random throwaway girl (will not be LI and play basically no role in story) in first scene. Lirien will still be a party member of Lucian, but not engage in a sexual relationship with him.
  • this option keeps the Netori aspects for Lirien only on a platonic level, like "stealing" a friend from someone else

If you can think of other ideas as well, we are open for them too ^^

But keep in mind that because of the flow of the story, the fact that Ansel will be "cucked" somehow in the first event is rather non-negotiable. He has to be on the bottom to be able to climb to the top. If this is a final deal-breaker for you, then our game really is not for you.

As said before, ALL LI other than Callisdra will be optional.
Also, this is a very small spoiler, but ALL main LI are virgins, until they engage with Ansel. (does not apply to all side characters)
We are also planning to create a general Event/fetish FAQ soon for all LI so people can better get an idea of what to expect from our game.

Thanks once more for everyones feedback. I am glad we pushed for an early demo to get feedback as soon as possible. Everyones perspective is different and getting to know other points of views are valuable to us ^^

I personally have zero issues with the introductory scene. The characters have no relation to the MC, at least for now, so there is no form of "cheating" going on there. If anything, I like it. This is a porn game. It lets us sample some porn right from the start, rather than making us wait 1-2 hours before we get any. I think more games should do that. If anything, I wish it had more slides, rather than just that one + cum variant.

My issue is with every other scene LOL. I wish there was more butt stuff, at least as an option.

• Sorry if the synopsis and initial images seemed to imply a heavy anal focus. It was simply meant to be a neat wordplay at the time. But rest assured, there will be plenty of butt stuff with Lirien+MC and a lot of more butt play with all the other LI. While this game is not "focused" on anal, we are aiming to deliver as many sex-positions as possible.

Considering this is quite early in development, is there any chance you could provide a "choose a hole" option for every scene with the MC? That way everyone can have a vaginal-only, anal-only or anything in between kind of experience. I really appreciate games that let us do that.

I agree it's not NTR. That said, I don't like the scene (although I haven't seen it, I know I don't like it), so it's a non-NTR scene that I don't like.

The safest is actually option 2. Personally, I'm not interested in a voyeur scene between a guy and a stranger who isn't going to be a LI and will disappear from the game, which is a good thing compared to the fact that I dislike the current scene. I don't intend to watch either, but one (unknown girl) will be indifferent to me, and the other (LI) won't.

Game is unplayable for me. I got to a spot in the dungeon where it says "Weird. This spot here feels somehow different than the rest of the dungeon." and I can't progress. I literally pressed every single key on my keyboard, clicked every part of my screen.... I don't know what's going on, but I don't have it in me to suffer through the first parts of the game again. Need a skip button to fast forward through text.

I don't want to promise much too early, so take my answer here with a bit of grainy salt please.
We are looking into choices inside the sex scenes. Though we have to first figure out how to structure our art pipeline for that so that we both can guarantee quality and consistency. Not impossible, but not guaranteed yet either.
But my personal pilosophy is that games should be as much able to be tailored to the players interest as possible. So if we can find a way to add options, we will.

Can you please give me some additional feedback to figure out if this was a bug or gamedesign issue. Did the game freeze and you could not move anymore or this you simply at that instant press buttons and nothing happened?
Did you try to rotate the character and interact with the walls? I know it's a bit iffy but what you need to do there is interact with one of the walls to open up a passage.
So my question is if the tech broke, or the gamedesign needs to hint to it better.
Text Skip is on high priority. Our plugin is a bit buggy sadly, but a general upgrade to that system with also hide-textbox option just like renpy is a definitve must!

I would like more info for you too. When you saved, did you save in the dungeon, when MC said "Weird...." cause that should currently not be allowed <.<

Including an unavoidable sex scene between a LI and a guy other than the MC in a harem game is usually a bad idea. There will be people who don't mind, and some who might even like it, but most harem fans will find it unpleasant.

Yeah I get that now. We simply thought the comedic effect of showing the MC only after as the annoyed person + LI and MC not being in relationship would be enough, but we learned ^^ But thats why we did this early demo, to steer development as early as possible!

I'm not going to speak for others, but the truth is that I haven't found the comedic effect. My start of the game has been: See the first text where the scene starts (right at the start of the game), try to use some button to skip the scene (without success), then I closed my eyes and clicked as fast as I could until the sound ended and proceeded to read what the MC was saying, but when I saw that he was talking about what was happening next door, so I kept skipping reading until he goes out to the balcony, at which point I start reading the game's lines. Until this point I've only really read two lines, the first one from the game and the first one (I guess) for the MC, and I don't remember what either of them said exactly.

Now I'm going to put some other comments about the game:

On the other hand, I like to play immersively (in fact much of harem fans do it), so I don't really like the MC addressing me because it breaks the immersion. It's fine to have a narrator do this kind of thing.

I didn't even get a feel for what the story of the game is about because I bugged out almost immediately in the first dungeon, so I'll leave the game on watch in case a fast forward or skip is added. I just didn't save because it was pretty early, but going back through all of that introductory dialogue is too annoying (not because it's bad, I just don't want to slowly click through everything I've already read).

Ohh okay that is already helpful. With how buggy the vn-addon has been it can totally be that it froze at that step even if the array was still blinking. Not beeing able to move while VN text is up is expected, to ensure no other bugs happen <.<

Unfortunately I do not remember everything, but here goes nothing: I realised quite early that we could not save in a dungeon, only in VN sections, so I always made sure to save at the inn between each run.

When the MC said "Weird....", I simply could not click further at all. It just got stuck there. The only thing that I did was take a screenshot with the hot key (left ALT and Num - (Numpad minus)). Now to try to resolve that, I did try to save (and it did allow me to save here) and to load. But loading it just turned the whole screen black. The conversation did progress, but the screen was black... so I had to restart the game and load my inn save.


One more bug, that seems to apply to Godot in general if not addressed specifically. Godot seems to have horrible dual-screen support out of the box, at least if devs to not specifically consider such a use case. If you have two screens, then the game launches between two screens and pushed downwards. So you basically only see the top left quarter on one screen and the top right quester on another screen, and the bottom is completely invisible... which is where the options button is. And the game is in borderless window, so you cannot just drag it. Thankfully you added arrow key navigation, so I was able to enter options, put it to windowed mode, drag it, then go to full screen.

If you can at all, try to test your game on default first-launch setting with two screens.

So continuing with the same topic of respecting user choice, how about you change the intro like so:
MC awakes hearing sex noises. Then he gets a choice of looking through a keyhole or leaving his room and entering the inn. That way those that want a voyeur scene can have it and those that do not can skip it. Win-Win.

Yup, that pretty much confirms that the way the event fires is wrong. It's added to the debug pile. Black screen is expected as said saving in dungeon, even in dialog, is not allowed. We choose that so there is atleast a minimum of risk associated to going into the dungeon. For bigger floors we will had static save points but thats future me's problem XD

One more bug, that seems to apply to Godot in general if not addressed specifically. That's really surprising to me as I do have tripple monitor setup and had no issues, but maybe it's really specific to dual monitor setup. Plus the game should default to fullscreen instead of borderless fullscreen. Thanks for the info, is added to the debug pile.

I will never ignore anyones feedback, though we do filter depending how doable it is, how our vision of the game is etc.

You could also have Lucian not actually be in a relationship with her, but have him be convinced that it's inevitably going to happen (because of who he is) and act accordingly (even going so far as to act as if she belongs to him). From what little I've seen, this would fit the character well.
