Why on earth would you be against having OPTIONS?






Ok seriously, Why is that such a deal breaker? Many people break up and change partners multiple times throughout their lives. Unless you come from some culture with banned divorces and arranged marriages at the age of 15, your are unlikely to be your partner's first and visa versa. Do you put "I date only virgins" on your Tinder profile? The player and the redhead are not in a relationship, so it is not any kind of "cheating" either. She is nobody to the player at the beginning of the game, so she can screw whoever she likes at that point.

Clearly the developer wants to tell a story about Ansel defeating his biggest rival COMPLETELY, which includes taking his girl from him. The impact would be far lesser if she was just some random henchwoman to the rival. The defeat lessened significantly.


The dev gave you guys an option to replace the girl, yet you still complain about it merely being an option. Geez.

i get the idea but was really necesary see a future li getting buttfucked and worse the first scene of this "harem" game like dude wtf i get some of my past girlfriends have sex before me but i dont want to see it yes the dev can present that the girl and the other guy are together whitout showing us her gettin buttfucked that makes it worse

Thanks for elaborating. I have made a suggestion earlier that the 3 intro prompts could be replaced by 2x2 prompts and the scene pushed back, pending the 2nd prompt.
Prompt #1: Is it Lirien or not?
Prompt #2: Take a peek at them fucking or not.

That way you could also combine replacing Lirien with skipping the scene.

I don't know if you've noticed, but I'm just replying to a user who quoted one of my posts, explaining what happened so he can understand why there are options. If you don't like me doing this, I'm sorry, but I thought it was appropriate.

I haven't complained about the existence of any option, since the one I'm interested in exists, and the fact that there are others doesn't bother me.

So clearly I am not the dev. I did subscribe to the dev's Patreon though, 'cause I like the original vision of the game and don't want it changed too much. We already have options and I don't want the option for the original vision gone.

That being said, since I am quite interested in this game, I have written a lot of feedback, some of which acts as further compromise to you guys. My 2x2 replacement for 1x3 proposal changes the scene from an "opt out" to "opt in" and allows you to both replace the character and not see the sex without explicitly choosing to peak through the window or a keyhole or whatever. I think such two prompts would finally satisfy everyone, but the dev seemingly wants to move past the intro already, so I'm not sure if they will be willing to further alter this scene.

I'm fairly certain that Nimbus Commando was aware that there were options, considering they literally said "Kind of stupid, there is even an option", which lead me to make my multi-post response. Like you say yourself, there are options, so I don't get why Nimbus Commando takes an issue with having options.

And my second response was just to the multiple posts about the extreme aversion to the opening scene, which I find a bit odd, considering many people have multiple partners in their lives. And this is faaaaaar from the only game where you see NPCs fuck.

Can you not separate Ansel - the character from yourself - the player/forum dweller? Can you not separate the character's knowledge from your knowledge? Because I think that is the root cause of this aversion.

Now that I think about it, that's probably why some people (talking generally here) dislike female protagonist NSFW games. They have this absolute need to insert themselves into the character and cannot look at the story as an observer / audience member.

We meet our rival, we see how incredibly successful he is an how he likes to rub his success into Ansel's face. That helps us - the audience, dislike the rival and makes us want to see Ansel beat his annoying rival.
