More is coming, I promise! I didn't intend for the beach update to be so large, but...man, I discovered 2 new techniques relating to jiggle physics (and I have never used any sort of jiggle physics before this update), and...let's just say the animation quality of the beach sequence takes things up a notch or three. I don't wanna oversell it, but it's been a notable breakthrough in my opinion.
I do apologize for how long it's taking, I wanted to be done months ago but I really don't like how my scenes turn out when I rush them.
Because you've been so patient, I'll share a low-res version of an animation from one of my patreon posts. It demonstrates some of this new boob jiggle physics stuff I've been working on:

In regards to the endings:
First, I should bring upYou must be registered to see the linksI made recently, because in it I talk about a lot of my plans for finishing LLRR, including the endings (to some extent).
There's a lot I haven't settled on yet when it comes to the endings. There are some things I feel strongly about, and some things I don't. I'll just lay out what I have planned:
First off, there will be multiple endings. At least 4, and at most....I guess like 12?
You'll need sufficient Love with the girl you like to pick the ending you want.
By default, there will always be an ending for a generic happily-ever-after with Stella. The band rises to fame, etc. etc.
I think I'm also going to have an alternate ending with Stella where you continue to cheat on her forever. Maybe if you had sex but didn't establish a relationship with anyone else, then you still get the generic ending (with some reference to "never cheating on her again"). But otherwise, you continue to cheat, potentially with all three (or four, depending on how I handle Samantha). In which case they'd each just get their own blurb, and I don't think the cheating would be super frequent.
You're in luck, that's exactly the plan for Kelly.
In all cases, I don't...really wanna do a whole wretched tearful breakup scene. It may be cowardly, but I think just leaving a note and running off together is how I wanna handle it for most people's endings. And I'm getting the sense that others feel the same way, which makes me feel better because I was a little worried about that lol.
But I think the scenes are largely gonna happen in real time, rather than being a retrospective. The endings also aren't gonna each be these super long affairs (no pun intended). I'd like a final, maximum-romantic sex scene for each character, but the rest of the details are probably gonna be, you know, a few sentences.
Pregnancy
What I am considering...is that for each and every ending, I just give you an additional choice of whether or not you decided to have kids. And if you did then yeah, the romantic sex scene will involve getting her pregnant, and I'd also like a shot of you as a couple with one or two of your kids, haha.

So to answer the questions about Julie, I'm thinking her ending is a standard elopement with Flin (but probably a more severe cutting of ties than any of the other endings), however if you choose Stella's ending and you're with Julie, then I'm potentially down for the two of you to continue cheating together...and maybe I'll give that version a choice of whether or not you impregnate those you're cheating with, too.
Finally, mostly just for fun, I'm considering a harem ending. I think it'd make the endgame more entertaining as you try to increase everyone's love stats far enough. If I do this, I'll have a version with Stella, and a version without.
Unfortunately, as I said recently, no orgies. I'm not big on them, and even if I was, if two people in an orgy are related then that qualifies as incest by Patreon's standards.
How does Samantha factor into all this? Undecided. But if she doesn't get any additional content, then Flin got her pregnant already. I think...I'm leaning towards giving her more content, though. I may even work her into the upcoming beach scene. We'll see.

So far I'm quite certain all sex scenes have been internal finish.
I haven't seen any "admiring ones handiwork."
Personally, and I think according to others. There is less of a point to an internal finish if there's no admiring the results and/or subsequent pregnancy. And considering pregnancy is usually end game, I know I like to see "my" creampies.
Do you have any plans to illustrate creampies?

I know I'm in the minority here, but I'm just gonna lay it out there: I think cum looks disgusting. Fuck with this formula even a little and I get notably less turned on by it. You'll notice every single sex scene in LLRR has these traits in common (with the exception of Stella's sex scenes, which lack cheating, but I don't get turned on by those. Those scenes exist to increase the validity of the relationship to make the OTHER scenes steamier lol).
Pulling out is one of those things that just feels...way less hot to me. As if it invalidates the sex that just occurred or something (which is ridiculous, but whatever, eroticism is often ridiculous).

So long story short, no, I'm not illustrating creampies in LLRR. But if it's any consolation, last month I made a "sperm cell fertilizing an egg cell" animation that will eventually see use.
I'm a softcore dev who makes softcore porn. My next work might push things further into "mediumcore," but I think my VN's will always feel much more softcore than the average visual novel here.
The short answer is: August, I promise.
I know I said a July release was technically possible, which allowed wiggle room for failure. For August, I'm straight-up promising we will see an August release. And I'm aiming for that to be quite soon, like within a week or less. But there are factors that make this hard to predict.
The beach event is completely done. Text, visuals, sound, even a new background song composed just for that event!
The essentials are close, but there are also some technically non-essential things that I'd just really like to tack onto this update before I release it (this always happens. It's things like "oh if I spend another hour or two working on this Julie jogging animation I could add it to the game and make her old jogging event a LOT cooler" or "Kelly's first sex scene is filled with the fucking oldest imagery in the game; in fact, Flin still has black hair in some of those images, is today the day I finally fix that?").
And then there's shit like the gallery, which I leave until the very end so I can account for all new imagery.
Not to mention playtesting, which I do every time, thoroughly, because I am a diligent motherfucker.
Anyway, I'm gonna take all the extra days I need to add whatever random stuff occurs to me until I feel good about it
But I can feel it, we're close.

At long last, the inevitable beach episode has arrived!
In this update, the game enters its final stage. The conversation minigame and "study/band" choices are replaced with quick little dates and brief RNG sex scenes (which feature a few new animations). Careful, it is still entirely possible to lose the game during a sex scene. Don't neglect Stella.
This most recent chapter also includes the beach event, which has ALMOST as much total content as the camping event. While it is slightly shorter, it is the most high-quality and animation-dense sequence in the game. Especially if you're romancing all three core characters (Kelly, Amy, Julie). Plus, there's a fair amount of additional content in this update outside the beach scene.
Amy fans rejoice! Amy, who has generally gotten the short end of the stick compared to Kelly and Julie since the game's launch, has approximately 2-3 times as many beach CG's in this update. And arguably the spiciest scene in the game.
While working on this update, my animation skills leveled up! I learned how to use jiggle physics in a couple different ways, which in my opinion has led to some notably higher-quality animations than what I typically make.
Three of the game's past animations have also been revamped to include some jiggling, and they look quite a bit better now.
Decided to retcon the first line of the game. Instead of stating "two years of high school remaining," it's now just one year, meaning you actually graduate high school roughly when the rock band tour starts. Various lines in the game have been subtly altered to adjust for this. It really changes remarkably little about the game, but I realized with the game ending sooner than I initially intended, maybe it would be easier this way.

Finally, I have a small request for everyone. Yes, you.
I've added a new animation to the "Calibration" option on the main menu. It features a new method for displaying animations at variable rates, and I'd just like to experiment with it. However, I'm uncertain whether it will work properly on all computers/monitors of varying refresh rates.
If you would be so kind, I would honestly appreciate it if you could boot up calibration (next to the tutorial on the main menu), skip past the Amy animation and look at the Julie animation. Then, simply tell me whether or not it seems to be playing normally on your device. If it looks glitchy or messed up, tell me. IF IT LOOKS NORMAL, ALSO TELL ME. It can be as simple as "the Julie test animation looks fine." If no one says anything then I won't know.
