Hi, I forget to said in my post that in the text dialog said "Time to pay the rent (-$50)". Also, luckily I saved before going to sleep, so I loaded 2 o 3 times, and had the same result: instead of $50, I lost $150.Rent depends on difficulty. Debt gives an additional detraction. Since failing to pay Rent once doesn't lead to game over, unlike the debt,... Anyway, I don't remember bad skills being shown anywhere, but some do carry over in NG+... or it used to 3 updates ago.
Hi! There is a limit how many times you can be promoted until you finish the CEO's daughter storyline. However I think the money you get is also bugged, because you don't get more money as your knowledge improves.is anyone else having an issue where promotion progress is capped at 100%?
Certainly agreed on dialogue inconsistencies. "This is our first time" when it isn't and so on.Yeah the "become CEO" section really isn't great gameplay wise. Another example where having the Wiki is mandatory.

In general character lockout being tied to having taken specific steps/grinds long in the past with no further player agency once the event is triggered is (another example would be Hanna) just bad design.

Oh and also the hilarious inconsistency of characters asking you to get them pregnant and then getting horribly upset when you don't pull out lmfao
He might be talking about some of Sasha and Kleio's dialogues, but that's pretty much on par with their personalities soCertainly agreed on dialogue inconsistencies. "This is our first time" when it isn't and so on.
And yes, some paths are very specific and probably need help, however I think the fact that the "perfect solution" isn't obvious but you have to try a bit (somebody has to to fill the wiki) is not "bad design" but what makes a game a game. I will agree that the necessity of getting Martial Arts on time is not communicated and can be a severe bummer. Having to grind Aletta (or any other girl) above the bare minimum however I would consider in line with the game's story. As in an RPG, sometimes you have to prepare.
I have no idea what you're talking about when you mention woke passive aggressiveness on the non NTR path though. I avoid NTR and cannot remember any instance where I got talked back to, except for a short sentence or two by Alexis whom I just berated.
Are you going to add mom and redraw Cleo?He might be talking about some of Sasha and Kleio's dialogues, but that's pretty much on par with their personalities so
No on both accounts. Are you going to add mom and redraw Cleo?
Please, say YES!
I'm disappointed in you..No on both accounts.
So sorry...I'm disappointed in you..
Goodbye..
I disagree that non-obvious game overs make it a game. Those cases aren't really choices or challenges if the player isn't made aware of them or has no way of influencing the outcome.I think the fact that the "perfect solution" isn't obvious but you have to try a bit (somebody has to to fill the wiki) is not "bad design" but what makes a game a game.

Yeah maybe. I also don't have to like your decisions or keep playing. I'm not paying you so you have no reason to listen to whatever I have to say.No one is being berated for not liking NTR at any point in the game i am sorry but if you take it like this it's on you not the writing.
As a matter of fact the consistency errors in dialogues is something we are aware of and actively working on fixing.Yeah maybe. I also don't have to like your decisions or keep playing. I'm not paying you so you have no reason to listen to whatever I have to say.
I feel however entitled to voice my criticisms and provide feedback from my subjective experience.
When I say "this and that part feels shitty" that's me talking about how I felt during that section. Feelings can not be objectively true or false.
It will depend on what you call "non obvious" here on whether we can agree. Should the golden path be communicated clearly to the player beforehand so he'll find it on his first playthrough or can it be one of several actions which all make sense in context of the game, its mechanics, and its story? If it's the former, we cannot agree, if it's the latter we can. Because choices are also not choices if the correct one is obvious. I also still think that grinding Aletta up when you want to be with her is a natural decision, even if somewhat time gated, we're talking 10 LP with a character you normally see every (game) day. It may be a bit abrupt, it needn't be this way, but I wouldn't call it bad design and not comparable to your "Ring of Plot Immunity Towards Sudden Dragon Appearances". I see it more akin to what happens in Mass Effect 2 before the suicide mission: you need to hurry, you don't know how much, and it may lead to a partially bad outcome if you don't. Happens, reload save and do it better.I disagree that non-obvious game overs make it a game. Those cases aren't really choices or challenges if the player isn't made aware of them or has no way of influencing the outcome.
Don't get me wrong, I like me some easy VN meal just like the next guy. On this forum at least. But if a game offers some gameplay, and yes, that can include grinding and failing at missions, I am not averse. Even if it is a porn/adult game, I prefer to be able to influence (and that includes influence badly, choices need to be meaningful) what happens to a kinetic novel. And that as somebody who absolutely dislikes Dark Souls because I consider it too punishing.A game should be fun. If I wanted to punish myself I'd play Dark Souls and not a porn VN.
Well, the girls have one idea of what should happen, you have another, in the end you'll win out. To me the dialogue isn't overly passive aggressive but more that they don't just say "yes master, you are right master" but happen to have their own views and voice them. Even if in the end we all (well, most of us) will have 100 KP and collars on most girls, they should be allowed some leeway during the process. As for the second part, apart from Alexis Sasha and Cassidy also talk back to you if you refuse the NTR/threesome. To a lesser extend, you lose LP if you don't support polygamy with Anna and Aletta in their random conversations.
Yeah but there's a difference between optimal outcome and removing a character the player has already put work into.golden path
Right, as imo it doesn't make sense story wise. 1 LP being the difference between Mike snitching out of the blue or not? Feels out of character. Instead this would have been an opportunity where instead of automatically failing, it could have automatically passed at certain stats or otherwise there is a dialogue (like with Cherie) where you need to find the right path(s) or another quest like the Investigation. Or give a hint "We really need to get our versions of the events aligned if we want to get away with this" and then give a countdown like with Ryan cheating.it needn't be this way
Yeah well you can't fail at a mission if you don't know that you have a mission in the first place. It's not failure to grind if the player wasn't made aware they had to grind something by a certain point.failing at missions
I quote myself, and I answer myself. How could I check what 'bad skill' I chose at the beginning of the game? Unless I'm blind, I don't see it in the phone.
In my current no-cheating game, instead of paid $50 for the rent, I lost $150, but I sure I didn't choose the 'debt' demerit (I select Winter as starting season, so I take 'animals hate me'), and, besides I'm going to do the Bree's maid path, she didn't call Mike yet.
