It's a glitch that sometimes happens with the girls. I fixed it by editing the variables. I saw what the max was, did the event that knocked it down, changed it afterwards in the console.

I'm also still having trouble with Kylie. Talked to/complimented/kissed other girls in front of her multiple times in multiple locations (different girls) and never triggered this event. Nothing I found earlier in this thread seemed to work. TIA
