I personally think Shooting is more crucial to choose at the beginning. During Aletta's second weekend event her sub points get drastically decreased if you don't got that skill. Means it's harder to get her back up or you've a chance to get fired if you chose to sleep with Shiori/Lavish and Aletta in a few days while Aletta's sub points aren't high enough...

Yeah it's a soft season lock, but you've got 2 months instead of only 1 to find one (and if you didn't choose unlucky, one clover should be enough)
Yeah the tracker might need a little overhaul there, otherwise a first time player has to use the wiki for Emma, but Cassidy is also problematic when playing for the first time. How should you know when exactly you've to hack Aletta's computer, how should you know that asking Shiori for help is bad, how should you know where exactly you've to place the camera and which options you should choose during the meeting with Cassidy...
But Cassidy takes away the main option to get money for two weeks (or you can get fired), which indirectly influences other girls. Not having money for rent lowers Sasha's and Bree's LPs and dates may not be successful if you don't have enough money for gifts...
I guess if there was an alternative option to get money (I know about being a manager for Palla, but her story takes forever as well and the other options either don't give enough money or are to random...) I wouldn't mind Cassidy that much. (I know from reading the code that when you get fired you can hire in some other places, but never have tried it, but that will of course block you from the office harem and stuff...)
As I said already, Cassidy can be really hard without using the Wiki as well. And Emma is as easy as her if you know the steps. (Bring Sam to max 60 LP to meet Emma and stop playing Sams route further, don't have any girlfriends during Emma's Judgement event...)So yeah, she's putting up a fight, but I'll still prefer her to Emma. After having done her route once, I know what to expect and what to do. With Emma I am spending half my playtime on the Wiki
Hmm, doesn't not having a car at that point only block Kleio from getting her sub points higher? The alternative event does progress her story fruther and I think there's not need for her being a sex slave in the Band Harem...
But I guess we could argue for a long time without coming to the same conclusions... ^^ I played the game around 9 times (7 times with and 2 times without cheats) in the last year and Cassidy's storyline always bothers me and I try to postpone her as much as I can, but I also don't like her character that much...
While that might be true for Emma, if you play without cheats probably the only way to earn money consistently is going to work which forces you to play Cassidy's route if you want or not... (and yeah you could try to get the route you want on the second game, but this requires probably to play a route you don't want for the first game without looking everything up before playing...)

The game is more fun without cheats, waiting for a special season to progress a girl is so boring if you only click wait and sleep for a dozen of days, earning money on the way and progressing other stuff alongside makes it more fun (at least for me...)

Did you wait for at least one week after you had the threesome? It should trigger after that if you interact with Sasha.

Hmm those are the conditions:
- You must interact with Sasha
- The delay which is set during the threesome (7 days) is done
- You must be male
- You've done the date with Kleio and Ann
- Sasha must be in the same room
- Sasha is not hidden (she's not completely gone or away because of her breast surgery)
- You didn't cheat on Sasha
- You're currently not on a date with Sasha
- You had sex with Sasha, Kleio and Anna in the last 7 days

I never really had a problem max subbing Aletta since a phone call is a guaranteed +1 Kink and can be done during the daily texting. Yes, a bit annoying, but not consequential in the end.
In my games, once Cassidy event fired, I had enough money to easily survive two weeks. Maybe had to tone a bit down on the Yuri Mangas and Slave literature for a week, but never had trouble paying my rent.
Also money from other sources is a pittance. Unless you want to play for years, there's no way to make enough money once you get fired IMO.

I think I've done 4 playthroughs without cheats and started one with cheat, got kinda boring. I also try to stop Cassidy a bit but then again I like her, so that may influence our relative judgments. At least while pursuing her I can also go after other girls
Agreed. I have an NG+ with 40k or so money, all stats maxed, all traits I need. As I wrote in an earlier post asking about the grind it sometimes feels more grindy because you lack all the small successes on the wayside.

wow i forgot how frustrating this game can be. events dont load the way you except and you get so many overlapping ones, you lose progress. im stuck on the step sister not triggering her siscon stuff, its messing with my home harem. i only just got bree slaved and im trying to get sasha but her collar wont go on.. its pissing me off.

also would be nice if the items had a hover info so you know what they do instead of either trial and error or using dr. google. game is good, just takes so long to do anything just to get a few secs of goodies

draw back of using renpy, the more you add to it the worse it gets.. no matter how good a coder you are, the base engine will screw you in the ass with a hot poker

we are trying to mod the Oni Rogue-like (his code is worse by leaps and bounds) and our guru coders are not gaining any headway at all. its gotten so bad, they were forced to rewrite the whole engine form scratch
Guys help I'm stuck at the loading screen I've tried uninstalling and installing but still the same problem

Since it's from 22-3-0a to 22-3-0b, it is indeed just a bugfix (only the letter changed). New versions with major content additions always have the numbers go up.

I like some of the characters, and the writing isn't half bad, even if this is an overtly grindy experience.
But fuck me, if the art doesn't ruin the experience.
The best art in this game is the backgrounds. They're skillfully done, have their perspective in order, and come in daytime/nighttime version with seasonal variants for the outdoors. All are competently done, if not terribly imaginative. Sadly however, they are the high watermark for that art. The lewd scenes only WISH they could be in the same ballpark as the background art. The fucking background art.
All of the lewd scenes are peak Deviant Art amateur hour shit-show. Consistent art style? Who the fuck needs it! Hope you like every character looking at least three different ways, because there are multiple commissioned artists and none of them agree with each other! There's bad western cartoon style, bad high-schooler copying anime style, and finally the horribly mangled human-ish shaped blobs of putty that pass for most of the lewd scenes (some of them are so bad, they're almost Cronenberg levels of body horror). Zero consistency.
They couldn't even get the same artist to do all of the dialogue paperdolls, so you have doe-eyed anime-esque Bree...
...right next to very not-anime-esque Audrey,...
...and they look like they're from entirely different games or universes. One has relatively thick linework, whereas the other has almost no line work and relies entirely on shading; it's two very different art styles that just don't mesh well. Also Bree's hair changes from disheveled curls to full on hair-drills, depending on who's drawing here in any given scene. Fucking pick one, and stick with it.
Sweet holy fuck, the art is so fucking bad. I could teach a college level 101 art class using this game's art as a baseline for how NOT to draw humans, their proportions, or perspective in general. Not a single fuck was given for any of the lewd scenes. Couldn't even be bothered to find a clip on PornHub to at least get an idea about what two people actually look like when they're fucking. Nope. Couldn't even do that. Looking at actual porn for reference was too much work for the artists drawing this embarrassing shit.
This is what you get when you commission a 17 year old anime fan who doodles Naruto all over their notes in high school. This artist is very poorly aping anime design cues, like the male MC's fucking air-breather agape mouth. They've also clearly never had a life drawing class, or anything even resembling a college level course focused on drawing people or human anatomy. I should know, I was an art major in college (Art Institute of Pittsburgh, BS in Game Art & Design). The line work is bad, the perspective is weird, and the proportions are goofy. Again, peak Deviant Art amateur hour.

Everything about that is fucked up. Perspective? Who the fuck needs it! Proportions? What's that! This one is even more personally galling, as I am an avid motorcycle rider. Whoever drew this has never ridden a motorcycle. Hell, they may not have ever ridden a bicycle. They sure as shit didn't bother to Google search for an image of someone riding a motorcycle, or hell, even just a motorcycle. This is the half-remembered fever dream drawn by someone who had never seen a bike themselves, but instead had a motorcycle described to them by a drunk homeless person on the street at 3am, and used that barely coherent screed as their working reference. No fucking idea HOW a person sits on or actually interacts with a motorcycle (where are the fucking foot pegs?). They are not two people sitting on a bike going down the road, but rather two flat pancakes copy-pasted over top of a blob pretending to be a bike. What is up with the fucking amorphous blob of black and red that's supposed to be the rear of the bike?
I get that not everyone just has a bike or two lying around to take picture of themselves for reference, but motorcycles aren't exactly hard to Google.
That's the real kicker. Every fucking time things are about to get interesting and spicy, the horrible art just derails the entire experience. It is distractingly bad, easily overpowering whatever scene it is placed in.
