Ok, I kinda need to ask after looking at the changelog: if there are no changes/updates for the f/g/h, etc versions, why post them here or even release them in the first place? Unless it's just that the changelog has not been updated properly

It's all up to the person updating the OP. When posting the updates I report them as such. I suspect that a ticket opens and a mod/staff/uploader comes in and takes my links, shares it around other sites like the dirty little whore of a file it is and then puts all the mirror links + whatever changelog there is into the OP.
Whoever is updating might not understand the game's number and lettering, as every project is numbered differently, and could be assuming that there is a changelog that just hasn't been posted, or it's out of habit.
