I didn't mean you do a poor job of updating. My apologies, your guys update schedule is fantastic. What I meant by tracking "in between" updates is there is not really any information on what is in the update, or what is being fixed, if it is not the normal monthly update. Probably cause it's fully automated.

You have to make one choice between two girls (Kylie and Camilla) and you will have a hard time keeping all of them, especially in a first playthrough, but you can get all minus one into the harem.

samantha's outfits are broken for me. I think at some point i told her to wear her old dress, but now the option has disappeared and i can't get her to accept a new dress as a gift. any way to fix? besides loading to a very old save?

When you gift an item, that particular item enters a cooldown, usually an in-game week. So just wait seven days and try to gift her a new dress.
is there a console command to just take away the dress she has, so that way I can give her a new one?
