I like this game, bought it on Steam, and even got quite far into it, but the thing that keeps turning me off is the low fidelity of the art. It's just so grainy, and just ruins what would otherwise be a very pretty game. I have no doubt the art was produced at a high level of fidelity, but whatever happened in importing that into the game makes it looks like it was developed for a game that runs natively at 800X600 or something like that. Is there any fix for this?

I'll try to download the version here then and see if it's any different (I've only ever played the steam version). The fidelity of the art is just so bad when I compare it to What a Legend or Summertime Saga. I really like the art for this though.

There is a time management mod out there, dunno whether it can do that easily, but at least days should be possible. Apart from that you can change dates via console - but it will screw up the game sooner rather than later because the event timers get all screwed up.

Oh? It is? How is it subjectively the worst out of all those other games you've played? That's me assuming that you've played other games besides this one. Honestly, without the specifics, there's nothing to understand about that comment. If you truly believe that, you have to give us context and provide observations from you how it's inferior to other games on this site.

Let me tell you my view and how it should be compared to others: I've played at least 500 games from this site. Compared to those, this game has content for days. And I do mean DAYS of content. LITERALLY. I'm not defending this thing, but it's a very complicated game with tons of content written in python/ren'py. I think RenPy can handle it but honestly, the sheer amount of variables is insane. I have no clue how in the holy hell the devs keep track of all those variables. I'd be stunned if there's no bugs unless they hire an expensive group of elite programmers to spend a few months overhauling the code. Think about this.. there what? More than 20 love interests with at least 5 variables each? That's a lot of shit to keep track of, proofread, etc. IMO, if this game consistently had only a few bugs that didn't break progression and never needed bugfixes, this would easily get sky-high reviews. I mean like getting 4 star minimum reviews. But its' sitting at 3.5 stars average and in my opinion, the reason is due to the issues regarding its complexity. Personally, I agree with it being at 3.5 and it'll stay that way until it gets its own shit handled. When that happens, this game wouldn't need bugfixes and I'd just pick my ladies and enjoy the new content every time there's an update. But no, that's not what happens: I find myself being cautious and waiting to see if there's any bugfixes before downloading anything. That doesn't mean it's a horrible game. It's just bloated beyond belief. To me, it's the pan that got overfilled and the cook can't help but spill things all over the place and it takes away from the end result.

Saying things like "worst game" doesn't help at all. Instead, when you give reason like I did above, it makes absolute sense unlike the comment I quoted.
