It's because of the newer renpy version. It's added anti cheat that prevents editing save files and loading them in the game. Very bad decision... Not user friendly anymore

just had a look at their save, they've got her lp at 80 and kp at 25, both are waiting on an event to increase further

If you mean "one final ending for the game" instead of marrying individual girls or harems, that's improbable, after all, there is no real overarching storyline.
If you mean "end of development", well, IIRC there was an announcement about middle of next year, though I wouldn't be surprised if it gets pushed back a bit, at least for Bree MC.

Most BreeMC jobs have a single one-time event. I suspect they're supposed to be one in a series of recurring events whenever you work, but they aren't there yet.
The "gift items" page on the wiki has a bunch of tables for clothes. Stuff like if you can give them the item, the requirements, and if that item affects appearance. Right now only Audrey and Minami can be given the slutty dress, and they will then have it as a clothing option in place of the sexy dress/normal dress, havent seen anything in the patch notes to suggest theres more you can give it to so I assume its accurate.
