MakinWaves... Enjoyed the new update! Alexis Fawx is one of my fav's & always look forward to seeing where you go with her next. Looking forward to more content with Jen, Antonia & hopefully Christine as well! Keep up the good work man!

I do have NTR turned on. I've attached a screenshot of the work progress as well as what Jen's current stats are. I'm stuck at 60 for both performance and morale and my funds are capped at 2.
Hey dude, your screenshot literally shows the problem. You need to get to funds 3 and purchase the furniture upgrade which will give you 10 extra performance and morale cap. Keep running funds every day and you'll eventually get it to pop.

Hey MW,

Firstly some belated congratulations on a year of quality game making. Secondly some hardy congratulations on the quality of this update. The best .5 update you've made so far in my opinion I liked all the new content (the Jen content especially) and the office minigame with Atonia was a really nice change of pace for the mid-late game. I'll admit when I read the explanation text I was a little worried I would hate it but it's done in a very non-invasive way that works really well and I quite enjoyed, it makes the office job much more relevent at that point for sure. I thought the conclusion would be a bit more blackmaily than it turned out because of the hassle she caused so I'll be interested to see where you go from here. She definitely feels very different to the other girls which I like as Lydia always came off as quite kooky, Mel seemed a tad repressed and Jen is essentially what you make her (and there is Lydia's ma but not much to say about her at this point). I also didn't find a single bug this time around so very well done with that. I'll give it another playthrough later at some point to be sure but I was pretty thorough with the new stuff and didn't run into any problems. There is a slight continuity error which I'll mention later but other than that exceptional stuff.

If I'm being super super picky there is something that has slightly bothered me since 4.0 (possibly before that) and that's the lack of new daily events for Jen after the first time you and her have sex (3300 points I believe). After this point the daily events change from a regular blue and red into a lighter blue and red, I guess to signify that these events have been run before and it makes getting to 3600 points feel a little more grindy than at any other point in the game simply because there is no new content to use for point increases. I've said before and maintain that I've never thought this game felt grindy at all because the points increases gathered from running new events felt very organic, but this point of the game feels a little underdeveloped by comparison to every other section. My general route with Jen is breakfast-shower-office-dinner-living room-strip club so sex events here would really help with that final push to 3600, especially as Rodger is getting some at the office now and we're not :) I realise I'm in the minority asking for this stuff as your focus has been away from the older content and most people are probably just running off an old save (where as I start a new game upon each new release) so if its never addressed then nay bother, just thought I'd mention it as I've literally nothing else to complain about.

The continuity problem I mentioned earlier is that you can have anal sex with Jen in the living room once you reach the prostitution level before you complete the final event with her at 3600 points. Its not a huge deal but it does make running those events afterwards feel slightly redundant from a "firsts" point of view.

....do you see the where it says (Cap 2) next to funds? That means that means that they are literally capped at 2 and I cannot gain the three needed to purchase the final upgrade.

I've always played this game with the impression that "cap" doesn't actually mean a cap on the fund level you can breach but rather the fund level you are currently on and it will increase once you have completed enough funds missions. For example you can immediately buy the first office upgrade once you get the promotion but have to work the funds missions for a few turns to buy the second upgrade even though you begin the game at "cap 2" rather than "cap 1".

I got to cap 3 at 50 performance and morale yesterday and ended the game at 6 but I started my game from the beginning so maybe your issue is with a save file. I would ask if you are still getting a message that funds are increasing by 0.3 or whatever once you click to continue the day? I've never counted how big the gap from cap 2 to cap 3 is and generally I just run funds missions until it pops, but I've always assumed it increased once you reached a number threshold (like 6 or something therefore requiring funds to be run 20 or so times), if it's a different trigger then that's over to MW to answer. If I'm wrong then apologies for wasting your time but I've played this game since 1.0 and that's how I've always thought it worked.

Somehow in the new update I dont get all the NTR options in the "daily task" like the BJ etc with the neighbor. were those one time?
Yeah I think because of the way it auto progresses through the events it stops appearing once you reach the current end.

With NTR turned on and your lewd level you should have access to a total of 7 fund events, which should easily place you well above the 2 fund cap (just about every one of them should increase it by +1). If these aren't appearing, let me know and ideally post a copy of your save file because that means there's something very strange going on.

I tried messing with the console after I initially ran into the mentioned issue, I did each level up to 5 which flagged the PC Quest guide to update but was still experiencing the same problem with the gym. Eventually I just opted the start a new game to test and as well as trying some of the other job/Jen paths and that seemed to work. Thanks for the advice though mate, your game is amazing.
Sorry to hear you had to start a new game. I guess what might have happened was just some incompatibility with an older save.

Glad to hear each character is coming across differently, it certainly became the intent once I got into the swing of things. And I have to join you in amazement at the lack of bugs. I'd like to think some extra testing paid off but I actually found very few myself, just a rare spark of competence on my part this time around I guess!

Yeah I wanted to add some more sex events around the house for a long while now. In fact it was pretty much on the list right after the first sex story events, in the usual manner how the story unlocks stuff to do around the house. But I think it got pushed back by the community poll setting priorities and general lack of time. Would have liked to do banging her at the office as well this release but again, just lack of time.

Thanks for pointing out the continuity problem. I thought I had set the requirements in such a way that wouldn't happen, but I guess I fucked up. I'll fix it for the next release!

Each fund event increases the cap as a one time reward, same with morale events. So it's a question of just going through each one in turn.

So after extreme rationing to extend the playtime, I have finally (sadly) completed the new content.:cry::cry: It took all my zen like resolve to stop my playthroughs

As always, the update was brilliant. The scenes and the commentary were equally hot. The new Atonia content was superb, albeit short. The new Jen content was just mmmmm. I want to see her get more and more slutty. Cant wait for her stage 4 exhibitionism and more depraved porn shoots.

I NEVER EVER want to see "you have reached the end of <Character name> content" with this game! ugh!

As I deal with my withdrawal symptoms, I do have a couple of recommendation.

  • For all the character interactions where we say XXX is here doing YYY, an image or gif of the character displayed there in addition to the text would improve the QoL of the game IMO. Every bit of additional screen time for these beauties will be welcome
  • Having Jen's modeling / porn shoot events available on the computer immediately instead of waiting for the evening would be awesome
  • Also having the option to skip a day with some actions automated will be great. towards the end of the updates, the days become a little repetitive and monotonous, so if I can skip the day with say just Jen's daily task or exhibitionism event would be awesome
  • For the hint system (which is great btw), having the accordions open or just presenting the hint for the active quest will be better (yes, I know, I am a lazy perv)
  • For events that have multiple gifs (like Jen's yoga help or the massage events), having one gif with the "next" button will help prevent scrolling up and down
  • Christine deserves her own character progression.

  1. I assume you mean the descriptions when they are in a location doing a certain thing? Some images there was something I wanted to do, though first I wanted to have the actual text changing depending on their progress (where appropriate). I already put some code in place for Lydia to make this happen. But it's all a very low priority thing so if I am short on time it might just not happen. Might be something that gets resolved when the game is complete and I can go back and touch up stuff that was missed/set aside.
  2. This is just a restriction for simplicity's sake of the schedule. I know she's always at home in the evenings unless you're at the club. I don't really want the characters warping around in a weird way you see, and the alternative is doing a complicated check to see if they're available or not. Which is also potentially confusing for the player.
  3. Unfortunately, this is a lot more complicated than it probably sounds. It's the kind of system I would have had to include from the get go to ensure everything works properly. Having to skip a lot of days while not doing a whole lot in each is kinda a quirk of the whole regular game update thing. Especially in the recent case of the office. Given that it's a daily thing, I need to either flesh out a load of other content (time/dev investment) or shrink the content down into a few days (terrible/shallow). In an ideal world, once the game is finished, somebody playing for the first time would have plenty to do all the time, juggling multiple progression paths and characters. It's something I'll have to pay attention to when the game is in a more complete state and adjust as necessary.
  4. The hint buttons were a pretty recent addition, and personally I think it's an improvement over the old which just bukakkied everything in a text dump. Not sure if there's a better solution but I'll have a think about it.
  5. I think you'll have to elaborate on this one a bit, as I'm not sure I get your meaning. Do you mean events that sometimes have different gifs chosen at random? (These are extremely rare). Or do you mean all events with multiple gifs? If it's the latter, then I'm not going to change that as the text and gifs are tied to together in their progression in an event. It's a bit of an older style compared to some other HTML games. But it's one I'll be maintaining for the sake of consistency if nothing else.
  6. Christine and Krissy will both have their own kinda progression, but tied to Lydia's. I had wanted to give them some more independant stuff, but as with everything it just comes down to time, and there's not nearly enough of it to give them the full treatment unfortunately :(
Again, thanks for the suggestions. If I can't act on something I try to at least explain why. Time is pretty much the most common factor as you can see!

Thank you for the detailed response. You are so talented yet kind enough to take time to respond like this! kudos to you!

on point 5 i meant that some scenes are broken into more than one gif... so the event is displayed like one gif followed by text and then another gif below that followed by more text on the same page. (like the weekend daytime living room massage event with Jen or lydia / christine massages) I was saying that events like these can be one gif and associated text, with a "next" button to go to the next gif and its text. Ah yes I see what you mean now. I had actually thought about doing something like that a while ago! But I think I concluded it was probably just adding extra code work for something that might not have much benefit. You are afterall, having to click or press a keybinding repeatedly instead of scrolling. Might just come down to personal preference which is better. But I'll certainly keep it in the back of my mind.

Performance and Morale caps are handled differently than funds, since funds allows the purchase of upgrades which increases the cap for those two. Once those increase to the next level so do your funds since it's a progression system for the upgrades. If my performance and morale caps are at their limit and my funds won't increase to the next level, I'm stuck. I played for two weeks in game time, trying multiple focuses and nothing is increasing the cap which would allow me to purchase the last upgrade.

Thanks for reporting the 7 day thing! I've attached a copy of your save where I did the NTR toggle on and off thing. Some of the fund and morale events hadn't been done. A few have a decision in the event to view details or not, and if you don't click either you don't get the full reward. I guess this is where the confusion is coming from, so I'll adjust this for the next release. But for anyone else who might have this problem, make sure to press all the buttons!

I appreciate it! It was not clicking all of the fund events for Jen that did it. The first time that I had the office job I did those because I wanted to see them, unaware that that was causing the fund cap to increase. To your credit you very clearly state in the help section "You will need to get your assistant to help you increase this." so I feel dumb now, lol. Thank you!

Really glad to hear about your plans for house events, that part of the game just felt a tad neglected compared to every other part where you implemented fresh daily events after the big landmark ones. I understand wanting to give priority to the community or time constraints on your good self, I only mentioned it because I couldn't think of anything else to find fault with.

That being said I did come up with a second question after finishing the game again yesterday (no bugs again, good work) about the VIP area in the strip club and if there's any plans to increase the number of girls working there? I can't imagine its a priority, just curiousity on my part.

If morale and performance are capped as well as your funds you need to use your assistants to raise the funds cap. Select funds for their activity and then make sure that you click on each event and then your cap will increase. I was incorrect in my previous assumption. Once I did this I was able to finally get to 70 and start Atonia's storyline.

How do i raise jen clothhing level? it says i should buy her new clothes but where do i buy them?

weekends in the morning (i think 10 or 11) wait in the hallway. Jen shows up with "see what she is up to". Then you can take her shopping

If morale and performance are capped as well as your funds you need to use your assistants to raise the funds cap. Select funds for their activity and then make sure that you click on each event and then your cap will increase. I was incorrect in my previous assumption. Once I did this I was able to finally get to 70 and start Atonia's storyline.
Aye, that's pretty much what I thought. Cheers for the confirmation :)
