So i just played the whole game from scratch instead of loading a prev save to see the new improvements.
Love the new system to get work rewards with NTR off. But i think it doesn't show properly for club events, unlike office rewards i dont think you see the cap getting raised, like you have the jen event when you hit the performance milestones to tell you the cap have been raised in the office .
Now on NTR side of things, events that give rewards getting marked is quite convenient as now i dont have to try every single event and remember which ones i already triggerred.
But it doesn't work with Jen office events, there was no arrow mark on events that gave rewards. Also when you play the NTR events some of them give the rewards but you dont get the notification, you dont get Fund Cap +1 text near all the office stats.
Overall i had a much easier time than i had the first time i played the ages ago i think on R3 or R4. Systems have been improved which is nice to see.
But there is one massive glaring issue and that is Atonia's content feels like a slough to get through.
Let me explain.
1. By the time she is introduced you are done with most of the content in the game, especially if you started with the club job.
2. From when she is introduced till when you can start earning love and lewd points with her takes 16-20 office days, and since you can only work 4 times a day, its 4-5 weeks ie. 28-35 days. Just to start earning points with her.
3. And even after that her initial progress is slow, each office interaction with her gives 15 love/lewd points, to reach 100, its 7 office days and again it takes longer because you can't interact every day. Once you unlock her house it becomes much better.
Thanks for all the feedback! I'll investigate what you said about the icons, most likely what's happening is some of the upgrade tracking isn't initialized until you do the event itself. I'll try and rectify. The club not displaying the upgrade rewards properly was an issue I had a hard time fixing, which might be related to what you experienced. The UI also wasn't designed for you having a whole bunch of rewards dumped on you all at once. That part I might not be able to fix without a complete redesign, but i'll see what I can do.
Now the Atonia early content I think is because you have NTR turned off? When it's on, you get some additional random events that give you extra intel. I thought I had included extra gains if you had NTR turned off to compensate, but I can't recall exactly. It's another thing I'll look at. I can't actually really reduce the amount of time you are in conflict with her, because as it already stands you can miss out on some of the events depending on various factors.
I think that 100 point grind is largely fine, I could maybe up the reward in a couple of the events, but we are only talking about saving a day or two of effort. According to my spreadsheet there's 6 events to get through (if you are grinding 1 stat) which lines up fairly well with how many you have to do.
Now one thing that sticks out is that you were done with most of the content by the time you unlocked Atonia, which given her elongated early progression is not ideal. It might just be as simple as reducing the requirements, but pacing everything is something I was meaning to do towards the end of development. It's quite a difficult thing to tackle properly without having the whole game in place, as I could just dump a load of new stuff in over the next year and completely change that perspective. It's something I'll make a note of, and hopefully when the game is near complete I'll be able to start shifting things around a little and make it all work together better.
