Yeah, Its all checked off. Just don't get the link to progress her.
You already viewed the event. I attached a version of your save file where I've made it available again.

Yeah sorry but if you play in incognito your saves will be deleted at the end of the session. Either play in normal mode, or use the save to disk function when you are in incognito.

What can we expect in the next update?
Release 10 Features:
  • Another full release, coming out in december
  • New Atonia love/lewd stages with all the usuals
  • Lydia gym content (fit level 8 -> 9)
  • A Jen home scene
  • Misc fixes and changes to some UI stuff and Jen's clothing system

Fiona lewds or love points, even after reaching 200, (I reached 400 for both), do not open the padlock situated under her Secret goal.
Does anyone have the same issue ?

Okay, it was telling me to upgrade her slut level and I was lacking a trigger for it so I thought I missed something.
Ah, apologies for the confusing info!

It's bugged, but just visual. It won't prevent you from progressing.

Sorry this is a bit buggy. Find Jen in the kitchen at lunch or dinner and do the lewd clothing event (any suboption, she should be in the fishnet dress). Then sleep and the option to research the sex shop should appear in your room in the morning.

Let me know if you still have trouble.

Worked like a charm. Thanks for your fast answer.

It´s a shame, because it have broken the flow of the game. And the flow of the game (a love game) was till the moment very nice, with very good tempo and a good balance between making the sensation of pass of the time and avoid being grindy.

I believe I have a game saved in the party, day 75. I believe that I´m going to reload from this point and not keep laying from my current point (d91), just for keeping the stories well laced together.

BTW, I´m enjoying the game a lot. It´s one of the best HTML-real porn game s that I have find in this site. I just hope that the dark path (lust-side job) was not too dark for my taste, but the nice path (office-love)it´s really well balanced.

I understand what you mean, having experienced it myself many times in other games. Not fun to get roadblocked by something. I'll make sure to take another look at this particular problem and see if there is anything else I can do to avoid it.

Glad to hear you enjoyed the pacing. I always figured it would play somewhat differently for brand new players as opposed to those who have been playing along with each update, so it's nice to hear it's working out!

Fixed and attached below. Just head to the modelling agency and go from there.

Anyone else who is having trouble getting Jen's photos in the late game, you can bypass it yourself by entering the following command into the browser console (f12)
Code:
SugarCube.State.variables.ownedItems.stage0CharMPhotos = true
Or if you can't manage it, just give me your save file and I'll do it for you. I'll make sure to fix this for the next release.

There should be some more tease ntr for her soon. Party might be awhile though since it was voted to be low priority by the supporters.

Well first of all, thanks for posting so much feedback! I'll try and address each point and explain my own thinking.

Phone: This is something I'll have to overhaul down the line when the game is content complete. If I try and change it now, there's simply too much I'd have to go back and test to ensure it's all working properly. This is main reason why there are some less than stellar things that I haven't fixed, because at the game's current scale, changing something can incur a massive testing overhead that would eat away at the content of a release.

MC Stats: I've purposefully avoided this kind of thing. I know exactly what you are talking about, having played many games myself with these sorts of features. The problem is, maintaining their relevance and accounting for them as the game continuously grows. It becomes more difficult to do new things with characters if you are bogged down with a bunch of old mechanics you have to continually update. I had the fitness stat early on, but I ended up leaving it languishing for a good while before reviving it to be used alongside Lydia. If I had more, I suspect most would have just ended up being dead mechanics part way through, exactly as they do in most games I've played. Specifically for the idea of some item affecting progression, I'd be far more inclined to simply make the love/lewd rewards larger.

Characters: There is a credits button on the left that should be up to date with all the model names. There might be the odd one I missed, but I specifically updated it only a few days ago.

When it comes to tracking characters, well I could probably include a feature to tell you where they and what they are doing, but that'd have to wait for the game to be content complete so I could go over everything at once. This is why I included the character time progression buttons, so you can easily move through their day in a psuedo timeslot manner. There is a bit of a problem with including a reference schedule since it would have to be dynamic, as much of the character schedules change depending on what jobs and activities you have them do. I can reuse the character schedule variables to do this, but it's a lot of work for a problem I'd rather fix with buttons and other UI features. I understand in the sandbox setting some people are probably getting lost every once in awhile, so I'll do my best to provide features to help down the line.

Now when it comes to side characters becoming main characters, that's just a matter of time investement. One I'm not going to be making. Side characters like Christine and Krissy are there to make Lydia's story and progression more interesting. I've probably confused some people by giving them their own love/lewd progression, which has been utilized to varying degrees (some krissy options get unlocked, for example) which was a mistake on my part. Like with many things in this game, the first time I do it, it's kinda scuffed. But I can say I plan on making sure these characters get their own conclusions and content, just when I get around to it.

Map: If I was going to redesign the game again, I'd likely try to make better use of the general sandbox world. It's not a feature easy to get right, and I've learned a lot about it over the last couple years. Trouble is I'm somewhat limited in what I can do now because I can't expect people to pivot to a completely different playstyle at this point in the game. Ultimately in the context of L&V, the world should serve the characters and their progression. If it can't do that at a certain point, it's better off out of the way.

NTR Rewards: I'm not going to put any sort of huge reward behind NTR. It's an optional set of content, and I'm not going to try and force anyone into it with rewards, nor am I going to lock huge bits of story or job progression behind it. Same logic for characters, they should all be available without having to indulge in NTR content.

Computer: This is something on my list. The options are getting a bit cluttered and could use some color coding or catagorization. Don't know if it will actually happen anytime soon, but I'll get around to it eventually. On the topic of the gallery, I'd like to expand it to include all the general events, not just the story. Problem is, it's a great deal of work. And not even all the story events are in yet.

Alexis scenes: This is just something I'm waiting to do. I've been neglecting the sex system specifically for the simple fact that I'm not really happy with it. I honestly don't know what to do with it right now, and it's probably something that will have to wait for when the game is nearing completion. I hadn't intended to leave it in the state it's currently in.

As for general scenes, this is something I've been meaning to do. It's just a question of time, and to some degree how patrons vote for new content. I might be able to rectify this to some degree soon though!

Job Caps: There are tutorial buttons for both that should explain how the caps work (it's been so long since I looked at them myself, so correct me if I'm wrong). Some are tied to the other stats, like office performance is capped by the morale. Now in terms of what the caps actually do, they already unlock various bits of content (atonia, car for public jen, new strippers, job storys etc) it's just the caps themselves are currently rather farther ahead of what you actually need. This is just a case of unfinished content. Each job is going to have a story line to complete, and you'll probably have to max out (or close, i'll leave a bit of leeway) the progression to finish. I can't finish these until the character content is done you see.

Again thanks for all the feedback! My explanations are as much for everyone else's sake as yours. Hopefully with time most of these concerns will be addressed.

Thanks for making this!

Hopefully there will be some more in the next release. Glad you liked that addition, i've been looking for an opportunity to include a girl like that for awhile.

Glad to hear it! Atonia is up next.

You need to figure out her secret to continue. Get her arousal up to around 7 (some of her events award 5, others 2) and do the fiona is distracted link :)

Thanks for the report and save file. Unfortunately fixing this problem is going to take a bit of doing, so I can't fix it for you right away. I'll make sure it's done for R10 (coming next month), alongside the other fixes I'm adding for the modelling job. This was a very helpful report, so I wish I had better news for you :( sorry!

Back and not sleep deprived, I've managed a quick fix! All you have to do is go into the phone and look at the message (you have a bunch..). I even tested the rest of the modelling content and it all seems to work perfectly fine after that. So you should be good from here. Sorry for the confusion and thanks for the report!

Some easy feedback:
1. Add some button functionality to a girl's location to quickly take you there, if it's accessible. This isn't necessarily straightforward, i.e. "Jenin the bathroom, but entering/peeking on her would cost energy" but anything to lower click count is appreciated.
2. Why does complimenting Jen after she leaves the bathroom take 30 energy, yet doing the same at the table costs 10 energy? Some of the options and their energy efficiency don't quite make sense. It's not a huge deal without a time limit but it does dissuade the player from engaging in those scenes.
3. Remove the RNG of Jen buying clothes herself. Maybe make it gated by her Love/Lewd score? Either way, RNG without any real player input on an engine with some of the easiest savescumming is just a time hurdle IMO. It's been a while since I finished my first playthrough, but I don't remember there being other RNG scenes. Maybe the party? Either way, I don't think it really belongs in what is essentially a kinetic/visual novel.

I like the game, by the way. I've compared lesser games to it in reviews and likely will continue to do so.

EDIT: I've never read about how hashing works. That was a great learning experience! It's really cool how even knowing the encoding process and the final output isn't enough to easily reverse engineer the original input due to the hashing taking its own output as fresh input for the next step...

EDIT2: REDACTED

EDIT3: Daww, Makin. That's a REDACTED code.

EDIT: I've never read about how hashing works. That was a great learning experience! Luckily, with access to the source code I can just rewrite the hash function, create my own target code, or just set every conditional to "True"

EDIT2: Is the code a 5 letter word?
Glad you enjoyed that and the game. Nice to know some people are checking out the sources I credit too. I just use hashing to not make it completely trivial to break, and I have no intention of adding anything more invasive. On to your points:
  1. I've thought about doing this before. First problem is that in certain contexts it's problematic (like you mentioned), making it a pain to implement and maintain. My main concern though would be making players over reliant on the button, as in they would just use it constantly. Which in turn could mean they miss other options and content that's scattered about. I'd have to be very careful with where I put stuff, and go back over everything and make sure there aren't things placed in a way that could be easily missed. I'll reconsider it for the overhauled finished version, but it might just affect the gameplay more than I'd like.
  2. Hard for me to say really off the top of my head, since I set those ones specifically years ago. If I remember correctly the kitchen compliment is a very small exchange and the post bathroom hallway one is a bit lewder. So there's that for a start, and I probably intentionally set the kitchen one lower because there are higher energy options available alongside it. The whole system is there to introduce some decision making, have you choose what to do on each day instead of simply doing everything on repeat. The content of the events probably don't always conform exactly, to which I can only excuse with my own inexperience. Though if you end up deciding that certain events aren't worth doing, that was really part of the intent all along. Giving you the freedom to choose and adapt. The early content is something I intend to overhaul, so these specific instances are likely going to be resolved eventually anyway.
  3. The RNG buy option is just there to help you if you are struggling with money, or just happened to not have enough at that specific moment (so there's a chance you didn't waste your time). I understand your point about going back and forth to make it work but really that's something I leave up to you as the player. Just buying the outfit is by far the easiest option and really my alternative here is just removing the rng option all together. Adding other requirements to her buying it herself would probably only serve to confuse people I think.
Hope these explanations make sense. I always appreciate getting more perspectives on these things, so thanks! And yeah, it is.

Good point!

On the note of players missing content, IIRC I completely missed a character in my first playthrough. I think I set Jen to be my secretary early on, which blocked another girl from the position? I'm a bit hazy now, but I think I only realized it either after seeing her name in the goals menu or seeing her image folder.

Fair enough.

Even without cracking the paid code, you can change the effects of simple actions in almost every Twine game if you're inclined to do so. Having the source available like that is pretty much entirely incompatible with any kind of security, but 9 in 10 people probably wouldn't bother in the first place. Using a new hashed cheat code every version also means that anybody providing a cracked html file would have to create a new one every single update. I'll remove my hint now that you've seen the message though, lol

On another note, I don't know why I didn't think of this but for simpler hashing functions there are alternative, viable character sequences. My script spat out a whole bunch and I didn't even think to try them at first, but yeah, they work.

What didn't work, oddly enough, was my first attempt. I tried changing the target code to the output of my own custom input, but the game wouldn't accept it. Yet the same Python version of the hash function was able to find the original you used... Bizarre. I think I must have screwed up my find and replace or something for that to have happened, unless I'm not understanding something important.

Also, am I crazy or does the bitwise OR operator on the hash var not actually do anything?

EDIT:
Found a typo:
Anyone could. You’re an amazing women
PC Talking to Jen after the first Love date. Should be woman.

I can believe missing a character, but it must have been for a different reason since there's no exclusive role like that. Closest I can think is that Atonia isn't available until you have Jen as an assistant.

And yeah from the get go I knew people would be diving into the code to change things. That's why I left the message ;)

Thanks for pointing out the typo. I'm sure there's plenty more my brain or the spellcheckers refuse to notice. As for that operator, I hadn't even seen it before until you pointed it out. But it looks like it's meant to set the hash to 0 if it fails to produce a value?
