Has anybody outside of a porn game ever actually referred to a relative as a "step aunt"? I get that it's a real thing, but I've never heard the word used out loud, and even Wikipedia says the term shouldn't be used, suggesting that "aunt" is actually appropriate when referring to someone who is technically a "step aunt".

I guess it depends on what kind of step-aunt you mean. I've seen in a lot of porn situations a step-aunt/uncle is set up to be an new spouse of an uncle/aunt, when they'd be the cousins' step-mom/dad. I've never heard of that type of relationship be referred to as step-aunt irl. They're already related only by marriage, so them being a second, third, etc spouse normally would have no bearing on what your relationship to them is. However, relatives of a step-mom/dad are referred to as step-[relation] in some families. Usually, any family that bothers to distinguish between a parent and step-parent will carry that distinction through to the rest of the step-parent's family. I think, though, that step-[relative] distinctions mostly serve the same function as [relative]-in-law references, in the sense that even in families that do use them they're primarily used as a shorthand to refer to those complex relationships when speaking to outsiders about family matters rather than used to speak to them in person, which you'd normally just use their name for. Even in the situations I've heard it used though, it requires knowing the person and their family situation to make sense to use it. Like, if you're meeting someone's step-aunt but don't know that they have a step-parent or which parent is the step-parent, then being introduced to a step-aunt is just going to be confusing, so even when applicable the usage is pretty niche

Condom use in vn's is so retarded, it is a fantasy after all. And all the text was stupid, they kept saying fill me up, etc. He has a condom on, the only thing we are filling is the condom. Instant mood killer, some dev's have no clue

I have a tendency to not play anything until at least three updates that aren't bugfixes but actual content updates come out. Did the same with this one, and now, save files are gone, and there's a paywall. Despite the not so standard art style and actually funny convos here and there, fuck this shit.

It is a technically real thing - one that was actually a little different than I thought.
I was thinking step-aunt/step-uncle was the sister or brother of a step-parent, but it turns out to be the spouse of a natural aunt or uncle, who had no kids when they married into the family. I have no idea why that last part is even relevant, but there you have it.
However, even the stuff I read on the subject said it's appropriate to refer to a step-aunt or step-uncle as "aunt" or "uncle".
Porn (in whatever format - video, games, mags, writing) is definitely its own little pocket reality. Though I have to say this is the first time I've actually learned a material fact from porn that I can think of - I didn't know what a step-aunt/step-uncle was until this game inspired me to research it.
The start of the paywalled scene, just before the paywall, shows him entering her without putting a condom on, so yeah, if you have the points, you apparently actually creampie her in the paywalled scene.
If you look at Koga's post, he put this one on hold because the last few updates have had major code changes that keep breaking his mod. Seeing as this last update was no different, it's pretty unlikely Koga's going to take this mod off hold for some time. He's a very busy modder, and it's too much work to completely redo the mod every update.Please update for v. 0.4
The saves aren't completely broken. I was able to load an autosave from right before the end of last update. Had to go into the new relationship editor in the menu to set the new persistent variables, but otherwise loaded and played through just fine.

a condom and a paywall are reason enough to put this game on the ignore list. Eats the hell out of my interest, when this is just a game and a fiction, why the fuck use a condom. Then another brain fart is those fucking paywall scenes. I'm not going to support any dev that begs or rather blackmails you to pay and see style. If I were a supporter of this dev, I would immediately stop supporting and put the dev on the ignorelist. No paywall has ever worked as it was intended. It mostly drives players the hell away from the game.
