Ren'Py - Lucky Paradox [v0.10.3] [Stawer]

One of the most entertaining games I have played in a long time. This is a very entertaining relationship building game that really makes you care for the characters you interact with. There are six main girls right now, but they are really well developed that have interesting backgrounds and motivations that isn't like your typical adult game.

The main story is relatable and interesting that keeps you wondering what happens next. There is a bigger point to the story than just having sex (though that is very enjoyable as well). The world is interesting and has a lot of potential to really be expanded upon.

The girls themselves are all lovable and entertaining in their own way. I don't really think any of the main girls are unlikable which makes it even better to want to see how all the girls stories go. I am pretty sure you will find one girl here that fits your taste. Everyone has their preferences and I think all the girls cover something you are into (example: large/medium/small breasts). All the girls have a different personality, but they are all kind in their own way so there really isn't a girl you despise.

I think this game also sets the grounds for some really good game play that I think is something to be excited about. On the v0.4.0 one I am reviewing at the time I am writing this, each girl has at least one costume they can wear. Customization is important to me in video games and being able to change into different outfits to make it more personable and entertaining. I am sure more will be in the future as well. There is also a shop to buy things but it is limited in the costumes and quest items right now, but the game is still in an early stage so that is understandable. I think the world of argleton is charming in it's own way that I think has a lot of potential to be memorable.

The dev Stawer is a really great person, and I can't wait to see more what he brings to the game. To me this is an easy 10/10 game

Lucky Paradox is a sweet game with cute compelling girls.

Be prepared to work for those lewd scenes, but it's in fact a great aspect since the events to boost relationship are well written. It gives you time to know about the girls, in a cutesy way.

10/10 would recommend.

The composition of the scenes is very well done, as much as the renders, we can notice many mixed feelings with the main character because the situations tend to be more realistic, don't expect to find that all the girls agree to be the typical girl according to the idea of harem or the idea of sharing the MC just because the MC wants it.

I like the colors that each girl is represented with and how each one has a personality that does not depend on the MC to live her life.

Great story (so far). Superior quality models (they're just drop dead gorgeous). The menu system is proper polished, although the way the UX is done needs some work. There's grinding but the creator has done in a way that isn't boring (there are conversations while raising your stats). This goes on my watchlist and easily one of the premium feeling VNs I've seen here in F95.

Well, this is one of the games that I like the most, with really beautiful girls, from the main ones to the secondary ones, in fact I even think some secondary ones are more beautiful than some main ones.
About the stories, I really liked it, simple but cozy, romantic and delicious to follow.
Unfortunately I don't speak the language (English) my language would be Brazilian Portuguese, and having Spanish, it helped me a lot, I can understand at least 90% of the lines, and I really liked the girls' lines, I like their way, especially Prim , my favorite.
If you are looking (like me) for a game without strange fetishes, without unnecessary dramas (some light is welcome) such as betrayals, intrigues, blackmail, rapes, NTR, sharing ... This is the game.
If you are looking for a good game, a pleasant romance, a pleasant harem, that game that can get you a little out of the reality of the world, that makes you forget a little about life outside, this is the game for you.
I already talked to Dev on the patreon, about the girls in the game, that it would be a real waste not to have anything with them, as I said above, they are all beautiful.
Who wouldn't want to have scenes with Gia, Akiko, Kendra, Helena, Daisy, Alice?
I know it can seem almost difficult, since the dev said it would have to be outside the main story, yes it could be, it could be an alternative route, some kind of event.
I understand that this would take a long time, create events, situations for this to happen, and that it would take more time to finish the game, now I ask, does anyone want the game to end quickly?
I believe that most would like to be able to have events with all the girls in the game, and if necessary we will wait as long as it takes to see them in our arms, right?
As for animations, they are very good, I just want it to be a little more explicit in some cases, like Charlotte, they were very good, but I would like it to be more explicit, just as it was with Prim and Maxy who could see the act well in itself.
Not that I'm complaining, I just want to see the scene, the penetration itself, kind of front.
In short, a great game, nice romance, beautiful girls, perfect harem, I don't know if an FFM will be added, but it would be welcome in my opinion, but I don't want to influence the dev at all, I like him to do what he planned, that that he likes, and I have nothing to say so far, everything is perfect in my opinion.

This game was a big surprise, it left me with a nice feeling after playing. Every character and detail has been taken care of. It has a lot of content to discover. The mechanics are simple, giving a lot of variety and freedom. This game has a lot of potential. Waiting for More!

Story - The main history is not perfect (maybe because the is a lot of stuff that is not show yet), but beside that, every girl have a great history, the girls history is one of the best aspect of the game.
Renders - Models are beautiful, the only thing that i can possibly think that is missing is a milf, but every girl is beautiful.
Sound - Yes, we have music, and good ones that you can keep listening and don't get boring.
Amount of content - At v0.4.0c there is a good amount, if you read everything, the is a really good amount of content.

In the end, is a really good game, the grind is not that bad, and the models and the history are both really good, have time? Play it.

Excellent game, cute girls , it's very original especially with the plot of each of the girls, What intrigued me was that this particular developer created a version of HS that was very different from the original and which is seen in most games as wanting to give it a more cartoon style, and it was a full success, I just want more content right now.

The story is weird and unique to say at least. It's interesting and worth following. The girls are cute and different from each other. It's sandbox so it's grinding game. But thankfully the grinding is not that bad. I like the color and tone of the game. It's colorful but not much.

This is by a mile the best game I've run into on this site. The models are absolutely adorable and the few flaws that show up are easily overlooked to me. The quality of what's present today is great, and it was one of the first times I didn't even open up the options page to skip unseen text. I read just about everything, didn't find myself wanting to cheat in money to skip the work, and by the end of it, the only complaint I could come up with was work being unskippable on weekdays once you have enough money and no more scenes tied to it.

Model quality is incredible. I love, love, love how every girl looks in this game, and the animations are shorter loops but look great.

Story quality is great. Each girl has their own completely individualized story with very rare convergence, meaning you can give one all of your focus if you wanted.

The grind is.. well, non-existent, honestly. I didn't find myself not wanting to work until I reached a point where I just didn't need the money anyways.

The game seems to be made by an originally Spanish-speaking dev, but I wouldn't have guessed if I hadn't seen it in the threads. The grammar is great.

The game as of now doesn't appear to be a full year old and it still took me probably 8 hours to finish all of the content, reading included. I bet if you're the type to skip everything, you'll miss out a lot on the personalities (which would lessen the quality if you ask me), but you can probably still get 2 hours out of this.

Try this game.

Minimal grind, cute girls of all shapes and various unique, varied appearances. The animations in this game are fantastic. I'm not a big reader of adult games and this doesn't have an excessive amount in the first place (although I understand the store is great).

Lucky paradox is a game you might overlook because it's art style might not be up to your taste but i beg to try it out. The characters dont necessarily have the most heart wrenching stories (which isnt bad by any means, a story doesnt need to have one after all) but i would say the characters are cute, each in their own way. The interactions they have, the interactions they have with each other, and their responses they do to your things are just so gosh darn cute.

This game is so great and has a lot of potential.

Well it's a game pretty strange and yeah because it shows you a side that you will never see in porn games, it has many little details that when you realize you appreciate the effort that the developer put into the game

At first, I was skeptical about the game. The main story as well as the characters' introduction is presented in a rather confusing manner but after playing each character's personal story events and interactions, where the game's core appeal is, I enjoyed it a great deal, the interactions are simple but nice and in some cases quite heartwarming. The visuals are good for the most part with simple but nice character designs and the sex scenes and animations are well done. Overall my biggest complaint is that the writing quality is at times very rough, but other than that, a good game.

This game gets everything right, from using Renpy's fundamentals correctly(Remember kids, the basics are important) all the way to the story, gameplay, user interface and more.

The ability to reverse text/scenes with mouse wheel(If you didn't make the right option) The small stuff like that which some games don't do, make a tremendous difference. But while there is the larger basic story, each character has their own very involved story, romancing, and unique dialogues and emotions. The scenes between MC and them are all fresh, different, and very well done.

While there dialogues are nice, they're not overbearing for the person in it for the *content* "wink" "wink" and the content that is there so far is incredible. The game is extremely friendly to people who don't like to grind a lot, (However, I do kinda wish the **appeal** mechanic was slowed back a bit, I understand it, but taking showers and getting haircuts all the time feels meh)

**Edit, oh yea, and the simple to understand in-game questlog is very awesome. Simple and to the point.

i love the story line and the game play was good it actually kinda got me at times. I think its a little easy to keep your money though in 2 hours i was able to buy a few things including the drum set and still get up to 2k cash.

• Pros:
1. defined characters, each with plausible — although at times a bit exaggerated — and unique backgrounds;
2. MC has a dramatic yet convincing life story — ergo: emotional curve —; quite different from some young adult male MCs from other games, who have the stamina of a 16 y.o. athlete yet the emotional maturity of Gandhi or Siddhartha Gautama Buddha;
3. strange (at first) but rather interesting and evolving plot;
4. beautiful and likeable girls.

• Cons:
1. some animations are somehow weird (e.g. girls' facial expressions could be more humane);
2. sex is too straight forward and lacks details (touching, different kissing, more positions throughout scenes, etc.);
3. the music is sweet at first but becomes boring after a while;
4. MC should be able to acquire more goods in the store;
5. the Map could be better drawn.

overall, Lucky Paradox is an excellent game.

I Love this game. Interesting girls with each their own backstory. Story overall was kind of confusing at first but I think it's starting to make sense lol. It's different and despite not having too many sex scenes, its enjoyable.
