Ren'Py - Lucky Paradox [v0.10.3] [Stawer]

I didn't want to give this game too low a rating, because it is by no means a bad game. The story is creative, the characters are cute and likeable. The renders are good, the interface is user friendly and the game is clear about the next step. But I think it would be best if the author removed the sex scenes and make it a game where we follow the story he wants to tell.

The sex scenes are too short, there's not a lot of them, and the sex is really average at best. There's no foreplay of any kind, nor variation. The things that makes sex, sex aren't really there. It's mainly penetration and ejaculation.

The other point of complaint would be the stat grind. I'm not done with the current version, but I'm at day 40 and besides the different ways to earn money with the stats, there's no real use to them.

I love this game! The personality of the characters is well written, which makes them very different and as for the story is captivating, I was intrigued with knowing more after the last update. On the other hand I like Layla! although deep down she is a girl angry, it's very sweet, I hope to see how the story continues with her. I hope you keep it up, you are doing an excellent job and it has a lot of future!

Awesome game, I liked very much the development of the character, my favorite is Charlotte that aura of dominant woman turns me on, she has a lot of potential as much as for the quality of renderings, as for the story that the dev tells and although the main character doesn't want to be the typical man that sleeps with every girl that he sees, I like that you can have freedom of choice so you can play with the girls that you really like and the ones that I can't you can skip them, This game has a lot of future ahead

One of the best visual novels ever written, it's a pity that the updates are slow enough, but the characters' characters are quite satisfactory compared to many other eroge games

I've been positively surprised by this game.

The best part is Yui; she is so cute; while Charlotte and Layla are quite cute as well.

I really don't like Maxy though.

Something that may be bad for some but that I think is good is that the MC can't date his best friend's fiancée.

The first time I opened it the game was unbearably slow; I restarted and proceeded to play with the ctrl key pressed and things were fine.

There are some pics missing like sleeping naked with Yui.

Although sometimes the MC seems forceful he still lack some agency every once in a while.

Overall, this is a good game and I even read all the conversations with Yui and most with Charlotte and Layla.

Decent writing and a slow burn, along with some unique character designs combine to make this a charming game. I'm eager to see more of it! Each of the girls feels distinct, and while there isn't initially a ton to do around town, it doesn't take long for it to open up. This is still clearly early days as far as the game is concerned, but there's already a respectable amount of content here.

PROS
+Awesome renders (After a long time, I realized it was HS.)
+Lots of content and interesting stories for each character
+The interface is completely understandable is not at all annoying
+You can play the characters without depending on each other's story
+Finally a normal mc who doesn't just want to have sex with the characters
+The grind part depends totally on your way of playing, and I like it even more because you really have to know how to manage your time and what to improve first and then you don't even have to worry about it.

CONS
-The only bad thing is that there's no more content I became addicted and just want to keep playing and discover everything the developer implements.

For The End
I would like to donate because the game is really good, maybe there can be a little error in the grammar but I do not think it is enough to put it as a Con because the developer tries to fix all the bugs as soon as possible, has a lot of future.

Lucky Paradox is a game with a sweet and mysterious story. It keeps the reader motivated to see more of it. The character design is gorgeous and very detailed. I very liked the expression detail which flows naturally with the dialog. You kinda feel truly talking to the characters which draws you into the story even more.

Speaking about the characters, they are very good written. Each one has a unique story and personality but you can clearly see that it fits very well with their look. I very enjoyed the conversations and the quests I did for them.

The overall gameplay is easy and fun. You know what to do and the grind is nice. I personally categorize grind in 2 ways. One is a waste of time which is implemented poorly with a bad design and the other one makes actually fun, has a good design and fits well into the game. This game has a very great one. I personally enjoyed every part and can't wait to see more of it.

The developer does listen to suggestions and implemented repeatable content into the game which makes it even better. It gives the player more freedom and a feeling of accomplishment of what he reached at this point in the story so far. I'm thankful he accepted this suggestion and I can't wait to see a great success following this project.

Good Points

+ We have costumed sex scenes and some of them has their own animations and its feels immersive.

Bad Points
- Main story of this is realy hard to understand or if i can describe better its hard to remember because of mixed lots of detail. Every update adds new and complicated story details and everytime player face with these a lot of complicated content and try to remember what happened before and connect them with current story of game which is kind of boring/annoying to be honest... With better story telling this problem could be fixed but with current story telling quality of game its not enjoyable...
- Yes animations are well maked but they dont have enough angles or positions. And they are all first person animations. For to be honest I'm not fan of first person sex scenes. Third person always looks better but we dont have any third person animation in this game which is quite shame. And this goes for other things aswell. When someone says ''You look gothic'' or someting to our character we cant see this because of first person focus and its not immersive.

For The End & Suggestions For DEV
I realy love this game but its have some problems, at first updates i was realy loving this game but with last updates i became more and more bored and annoyed from game story and im kind of stopped playing... I will look how things going time for time but i gues im gonna give some break and hope DEV fix this story telling problems etc. I hope he will.

I like it, it's an interesting game with a lot of future in my opinion, if the visual part, the interface is not annoying is clear and helps to understand the mechanics of the game ... since his intro tells you that the game is not made "just like that" or "without wanting" on the contrary, you see the effort and affection, you get into the atmosphere right away and the characters are charismatic, make you want to know them, so I say that this game has a lot of future ahead.

This game is cute and pretty fun to play, character design is a plus, its easy to navigate around town, grammar can use some work but i'm pretty lenient in this department and can overlook it, typical RPG shenanigans but i'll definitely be keeping an eye on this one.
