Are they doing it for the money or for fun??For last two month we didn't heard from them anything, but excuses. I think that they financial expectations from project income was hardly smashed by pure reality.

I think that for money (they even mentioned in one of they comment here =>" We are currently in a VERY difficult financial situation, but we really want to keep working on this game"), most of developers here doing it just for money. Problem is that many devs overestimate possible incoming rates and gets disappointed, especially at start. So many games I've already seen abandoned after few initial updates, while right solution to raise patrons and funds lies in trustworthy communication and consistency. But there must be of course even patience on dev side. Nothing get happens over night. Are they doing it for the money or for fun??
But I thought they were doing alright with over 170 paid patrons. I didn't see any reason for them to abandon.I think that for money (they even mentioned in one of they comment here =>" We are currently in a VERY difficult financial situation, but we really want to keep working on this game"), most of developers here doing it just for money. Only time tells us the truth. I hope they'll show up soon, but my expectations are really low after so long silence. But I thought they were doing alright with over 170 paid patrons. I didn't see any reason for them to abandon.
lmfao. That cop pulling the wife over was real life.or maybe they are in jail lol
Well... they were still punctual with the announced updates, there were always excuses... I was also a paying patron and dropped out very quickly because I had the feeling they had only worked on the game two or three days before the announced updates. The content was accordingly large. This was probably intended to keep the paying patrons happy. As a dev you need patience, I only join a subscription when I see that the dev is communicating sensibly and keeping their promises, then and only then will I support. I don't wait to see what happens, I don't think anyone has any money to spare. Both devs need to work hard on their communication and develop a love for the game and not just look at the money, everything else will come naturally if the game is good.it was getting fast updates but now it has stopped , although developer did say he was moving places which could take a while to readjust into everything and therefore considering all that I think if this game doesn't get an update or any news by the developer in the next 3 weeks its abandoned.
As it's Unity based it is only one more compile they have to do so no, not really hard if you use Unity as a engine. Most developers hate Mac, it is a terrible system to code for. I wouldn't hold out hope.
I've tried that and yes, that is an option for games like this that basically have no requirements for the gpu but as soon as there is something with 3D Windows on ARM and a VM don't work good anymore on a mac. Used to be better with external GPUs but ever since the M1 and newer that is not possible anymore.Maybe they could just install virtual windows on MAC and run the game?
That would be the beste option. I don't really see why you would need Unity to run the project.I remember Dev saying that they were working on an html version so you could play on Mac
To my knowledge, to code on Mac, you need to buy Mac hardware (est $800), you then need to get a license key ($100 per year), then you need to compile it in Xcode, which sucks, and what you get for all that work is basically nothing, because hardly anyone games on Mac. I've heard several indie devs say Mac make up less than 1% of their sales. Given the expense of coding on Mac, most of them make a loss on any Mac copy of a game.As it's Unity based it is only one more compile they have to do so no, not really hard if you use Unity as a engine.

About 3 years ago I produced a few small unity apps on windows, and compiled for MacOS. This came with a ton of complications. As it's Unity based it is only one more compile they have to do so no, not really hard if you use Unity as a engine.

Well, as someone who was pretty disappointed with the previous update, I'm seeing it with good eyes.Funny thing happened just right now:

Sorry for the long silence. We're currently completely reworking the project because we hit a dead end with the previous storylines, and the further development of events seemed extremely dull. We'll be back soon in a new form.
Like I'm really sorry, but I don't think, that any story in 0.1.4. was at dead end state...
What kind of "New form" they mean?
At least they answered...
Well, they looked at it and probably didn't really know how to go from there and it wasn't to their liking how it had developed? Happens, as kikomascado said, the whole BAR stuff was kinda meh honestly and seemed kinda forced instead of the natural flow, so its not that I dont understand.Funny thing happened just right now:

Thats damned unfortunate, i really don't think they need to change much in the first update, that was very promising. The following ones not so much. Keep the cab driver, keep a friend but she dont have to be so damn vulgar, let the wife find her desires in other ways.Funny thing happened just right now:

Yeah. The cab driver was good, and the friend is a good way to corrupt the girl even more, but if she's too aggresive she wouldn't be a very good friend, would she?
