This is a combined update of 0.45, 0.46 and 0.47. 0.45 is the big content update and the other 2 are just some bug fixes. It doesn't add any lewd content, it adds about 12,000 words of story and plot played out via 3 events with Zara. But you would probably see about 7000-8000 words on a single playthrough as the content varies a lot depending on your choices. It also adds a few codex entries, so this update is more for those who are primarily following the plot and story. I've tried to push these events in terms of sexually appealing content as far as I think I can get away with without it being ridiculous, but there is no nudity and no sex. It's essentially what I was able to put together over xmas/new year and before I went away last week.
One odd thing I noticed is that some text has a thin black outline while in other text the black is much thicker.
Is this intentional? While it certainly isn't a big deal, I think I would prefer a more uniform look.

Not intentional, I'm having some consistency issues with text display that I cannot work out why the new thicker black outline is not applying to speech and only applying to narration. Despite it being set the same for both. It's on my list to try to resolve for the next update.

The thicker line was added in response to user feedback that the white text was hard to read in some instances. I might take advantage of this error to run a poll to see which is better since they are both running next to each other. I prefer the thinner line as well, but it's not really an aesthetic choice it's trying improve accessibility.

I'm sure I have seen some Ren'Py games where you can define how the text looks, if I'm not going mad and this is a thing, and you can do it, it could give the best of both worlds.
From me it's . I like the way that you have produced something of a quality with the tools that you have. The important stuff should be the text; try to avoid too much AI on that. Regarding art i've only seen the start but i am not a super fun of the "super clean" results ai can generate.

Yea, it's not that. I have done that, but something is causing it to ignore the instruction to customise the spoken text. I think it's to do with how the characters are setup overwriting it. I'll need to manually set the text customisation for each character, rather than as a default for the game.
