I mean, i agree with you on the points made . As a game , the improvement compared to his previous ones is there. way more complex stuff, a more fleshed out story and all. But a big selling point he had going on were the simplistic yet high quality art in the h-scenes . That's what people who played his previous games were expecting . This time around however, it's clear he poured all the effort into the game aspect, and the h-scenes were just there. If he made the game sfw from the start, im quite certain people wouldn't have reacted this poorly . And while the story became the centerpiece.... that's not exactly his strong suit. The games don't have a bad story, but it's nothing to write home about. Lunar crisis being a continuation of xenotake, it really doesn't give out alot of answers.And in all honesty, his ghost hunter verna was a superior story regardless, with all the undertones and stuff.
