As for the memory leaks, i meant in sayaka addition (forgot the localized names) and lust prison (forgot the localized name).

And very sure those were caused by them since the chatgpt for those games which use the japanese versions as base never had memory leaks. Even shit computers could run those games
Anyway, pointless to talk about crashes , etc that will never be fixed. Including that 1.03 one for this game.

This has nothing to do with the game, but it has to do with you not having Japanese locale nor installed Japanese language support on your PC. When you install the game or extract the files, the files that have Japanese characters in them get gibberish because Windows can't display them.

This all results in game not being able to find the file(s) and crash.

You need to install Japanese keyboard and then install language pack, basic typing, handwriting, and region set to Japan.
Even tho the game is localized to english, the scripts and some files still contain Japanese text.
Ideally, it would be best to use Locale Emulator and set your region to Japan when playing these games.

Either set this below to Japan, or use Locale Emulator program to simulate it. Sadly, some windows option will be in Japanese if you do this so I suggest just using locale emulator.

EDIT: Now that I downloaded the Japanese version of the game, I see that they translated all the audio files that have Japanese characters inside them.
I combined audio folders from the Japanese and English versions. You can download that and see if it fixes the issue that you guys have with crashing.

I have no idea how many kagura games you played before. But they always change the names of the images and audios files both in the game folders and in the script itself to make sure people dont need to switch to japanese locale to play the games. (these are not fan translations where people only translate the dialogue, kagura renames images, audio , changes the engine to work without japanese locale) (even wolfrpg games).

All those errors of missing audio files , images etc are just caused by them leaving leftovers of the japanese script that ask for now nonexistant files.

So "go find and pirate a japanese version to fix what we broke by basically copy pasting the entirety of the japanese game files into the localization" is not really a way to fix things its just bloating the game with unnended stuff. (in this case a 700mb audio folder)
Plus would not work with images since u need the rgssa file, for possible future kagura patches to work (and they are likely to have renamed images as well if they cointained japanese characters).

But i am glad you actually bothered to download the japanese version to see the diferences,
I can guess they forgot to rename some script calls from the game into using their changed files names.Doesnt change the fact that is something they need to officially fix. I mean some people did pay for their game after all even if most of tge people here didnt.

Maybe since you seem very knowledgable as a translator you can check the game script and find out what custom script calls they forgot to rename still call for the japanese names, fix them and submit the fixes to kg.

As long as they don't include the main character too. Pure route has a fairly explicit requirement of 0 lewdness/0 absoption, and not much else, iirc.

However, I would advise you to not go pure the first run through. This is very much a game designed for the pure route to be a second route one, both gameplay and narrative wise.

The special power on the last battle? It doesn't mention that lunaria must pure or still virgin to get that. She get that power because she brave or something like that. I can understand lunaria can't go pure route if there is character development that she doing became lewd woman who only care for lewd stuff. But no, we can't go pure route if we get lewd point. EVEN IF THAT IS 1 POIN AND THAT 1 POIN COME FROM RAPED BY GOBLIN, WTF!

The branch happens much earlier than the final battle, though said power up does probably hints at purity being important.

The big thing is that everything being at 0 changes how the succubus and the demon lord will act, and that's what triggers the pure route.

Yeah that's also bother me. In lewd route succubus get the ball (i forget the item's name) first and she not meet with the demon lord. But in the pure route the succubus meet the demon lord first before get the ball and that's change the route.

So i think if we go to the abandoned(?) town and get lunaria blackmailed in there, the succubus will know lunaria existence more earlier and then she get the ball before she meet demon lord.
But in pure route, because lunaria just straight to the capital so the succubus meet the demon lord.
so from there i don't think lewd level have to do with route because in the end lunaria still get targeted by succubus.

And for the power up, as i remember there is no hint for purity or virginity. But yeah, i'm gonna check that thing again because i'm gonna playing the game again after so long.
