RPGM - Completed - Lust Epidemic [v1.0] [NLT Media]

Nicely created scenario with captivating storyline which are fluent and kept me wondering till the end of the game. Character designs are nice and suits their personalities. Also art and scenes are nicely created, i cant say excellent but it nicely covered my expectations. Solid game..

The story keeps you hooked on and the sex scenes are hot, specially if you are into milfs.
The models are almost all big tittied which might be a little repetitive, and sex scenes might get a little repetitive at the end, but overall this is an excellent h-game

This was a good game. I felt like it was a little long but enjoyed the scenes and it never felt too repetitive. I wont play it again but I will play other games made by NLT Media. Overall 4/5 stars from me.

Not bad game. With the rating of this web I give it 3 stars but I would rate the game as 6/10 and I am gonna to write some points of why:

- Average story. Nod bad not good. The story becomes a detective game and it's not enough interesting. The only reason to keep playing is the H-scenes.

- H-scenes are good. There are so much H content but none is great. Kamasutra scenes are 3 animations, same for secret zone and only the "cannon" scenes matter. Like all game I played, best scenes are the last ones, but I reapeat, none of these are great.

- Good animation. At least the game try to do animations. They are not bad, but there are games (now and in 2018) which are better.

- The pace of the scenes are good. Moments for full story, time for scenes, I liked.

- Character design is great. The girls are so hot but I think is bit cheating. They all have big tits, big buts, perfect measurements etc. Looks like cheating haha. The best of the game for sure.

- Good sound. Ambient sounds, dialog voices, moans.

- Technical issues. I don't care how a game is done but if the games crashes (it do randomly) or it have not QoL features (quick save, skip dialoge), it have to be criticized.

- Maybe too long. If you think about the story when you finish it, you know there are things absurds and moments to enlarge it.

Its just good.

Well-done beginning of a trilogy und big and interesting story elements.

You'll get more and more animated cutscenes without wasting too much time to grind. In the End you'll eventually play this game through without the chance of missing a scene.

In the past, I haven't played too many RPGMs, considering most people dislike them, steering me away from playing. I decided to give this one a go, considering I wanted to play NLT's collection from the beginning. Definitely not as bad as people claim it to be but it's nothing spectacular. The characters are solid, the music is cool, and I really enjoy the RPGM elements. The major takeaways though are the atmosphere and story. Some real spooky shit and I was there for it!

Honestly, I wanted to like this game. I really did. The raving 4 to 5 star reviews - of which there are plenty - I do believe are justified. But, for me personally, this game fell a bit short in a couple aspects.

This game is good. Let's get that out of the way first. Here are my gripes with the game, that clash quite heavily with my tastes, and as such makes me lower the score:

The sex scenes are in a different "map" and are very "self-contained". Sex that actually affects the story or happens "naturally" or you can seek out as a "story event" are few and far between and most of the sex comes from looking for items (called kamasutra pages that enable a sex position) that will then allow you to see that sex scene in a self-contained, sandbox style room far removed from the actual plot of the game. Jealousy between the characters and other plot points feel moot because the actual sex is so far removed from the game that it feels jarring.

The puzzles tend to err on the side of boredom after some time, and the tedious amount of walking in the ever-expanding map is sure to get on your nerves, even after the teleporters are activated. Not only that, but while the story is good, the gameplay is not. There is close to none incentive to talk to all characters all the time because their dialogue is boring and short if they're not in the current part of the plot, nevermind repetitive. This, paired with the premise of the plot is you locked into this university, makes the entire game feel thoroughly repetitive, especially since the characters very rarely move into the areas that you open as you progress.

These two things made me lower the score a lot, particularly the sandbox-style of sex scenes. Nonetheless the story in this is quite good, the renders are - as you can see - exceptional, and the game is complete and the sex scenes that do exist within the story are nice; unfortunately, the "bulk" of the actual H part of this game is so thoroughly unenjoyable to me because of the sandbox aspect that I cannot give a higher score to this.

If at any point in this review you thought "well fuck I don't mind this at all", then do play this; you'll probably give it a 5.

Lust Epidemic is a pretty good/fun/sexy game. The premise is a little far-fetched, but it's entertaining enough to keep me playing. Models are gorgeous for sure. I'm looking forward to playing the next game Treasure of Nadia!

It's an interesting game even without the porn elements actually, interesting graphic adventure. The porn anyway works nice storywise, it's an essential part of it. The porn scenes are nice when they happen but a bit short. It should have improved a bit some of the most repetitive elements (sometimes it's just a come there, get that, come back, in a totally unchallenging way.

Its a good game and i recommend it.
Objectively it is one of the best on the site, such quality is difficult to find in games of this genre.
Possible to complete the story even without walkthrough, which is very good. If you're aiming for 100%, unlocking everything possible, then walktrought is a must.
The story is nice and interesting enough, but the game also has some flaws.
1) The teleporter unlocks after too long, ok, it doesn't unlock late, but it's a game where you have to go back and forth until the end, it's not a real "game".
2) Once in a while (happens very rarely) the game crashes, you can still save if you know the location of the save (the screen stays black, but you can do everything as if nothing happened).
3) The voices present at the beginning of the dialogue are very annoying
4) The characterization of the male characters is awful. It's not clear how they get along. In one dialogue they insult each other, in another they make fun of each other, in the next they act like normal friends. In short, I've never read about friendships and/or acquaintances in such a confused way.
Excellent ending that puts the right dose of curiosity for the next title.

Story- Good, but crazy, story.
Originality- Trapped in a confined space mystery/adventure story with sexy results. Not terribly original but well enough executed that you don’t notice
Art- Quality renders of exaggeratedly (but not cartoonishly so) busty and buxom (mostly older) women
Sound- music is fine, fits the mood when necessary, but generic. Sound effects are functional, but sometimes annoying.
Voice Acting- Mostly sex noises
Mechanics- standard RPGM no combat Puzzle/adventure game. Puzzles are fine and integrate into the story well enough with enough variety that it doesn’t feel repetitive.
Animations- Jerky and not very smooth due to low frame counts, but good quality otherwise.
Bugs- Minimal in my experience
Amount of content- 10+ hours with a single ending and no replayability.
Subjective stuff- Incest is wallpapered over, so it’s hard to ignore. Taking your brother’s wife is hotter to me than oedipus so I would have preferred leaning harder on that. If you’re interested in this creator definitely play this before Treasure of Nadia as the next game is significantly improved.
Recommend playing- Yes, Recommend buying- Yes

One of the best games on this site. It somehow manages to be naughty and endearing at the same time. A phenomenal game that sets the standard.

Fuck I honestly don't know what else to say to meet the 200 character minimum. Other reviews have already said everything there is to say.

A classic from the genre.
A very intriguing story who escalade more and more without getting bored in my opinion, mixing futile favor for getting some lewd scene between advancing to witness some mysterious events in the mean while.
A challenging RPGM without a guide.

The sex scenes are very well made, but you are going to be less impressed if you played to the sequels first (Treasure of Nadia & The Genesis Order).

The characters are attractives.

Very good stuff to be entertained, enjoy most of it without being necessary annoyed with some minor and classical aspects to me such as morality or some unlikely part of MC's personnality.

Animations, renders, all the art is great. MILFs are awesome.
Long, detailed, smart story with twists and all.
Puzzles, gathering stuff and connecting pieces are fun and smart.
Characters are different.

Do only bad thing I can say is that sometimes walking around the map becomes tiring but it's expected so...

Decent. I am not much of an RPG maker player, but I feel like NLT did a good job with it. You play as an insufferable brat in a university plagued by mysteries.
Be mindful that there's no auto save. I played for a few hours and as the idiot I am didn't save and then it crashed so that was fun. So learn from my lesson and save often.
Overall pretty good game though.

I played version 1.00 of the game on hard mode. I made it 22% in before I gave up due to one main factor I will get to shortly.

STORY
The basic premise is fine. The protagonist lives in a town that has been running rampant with sex scandals, and your school's reputation was tarnished by the media due to one of them. While reps of the school were attempting to take legal action the town gets flooded and a small group of people have no choice but to hold up in a church/school.
Unfortunately the main character is a creepy sex pest and there's nothing you can really do about it. This is not a game where there are options to get through the game through honest means, if you're going to progress you have no choice but to date rape women constantly. I don't know about you, but I don't find these situations erotic in the slightest.
There's a lot of room for very questionable behavior in adult entertainment. Most games feature characters you'd call creeps at best with all their peeping and habitual line stepping. A game where your character is just looking for chances to use mind altering substances to get sex is beyond the pale.
Linear games can be fine, but I have never seen a game whose story could have been improved more by giving the player some more agency. Good lord did the shit you have no choice but to do turn me off of this game. Games where you have the choice between evil and not-evil are fine, but a game where you have no choice? No interest here!

PRESENTATION
For a game that makes use of stock models so heavily it's not that bad looking. The opening animation is somewhat impressive for a game of this scale. If you like long, drawn out sex scenes this game won't be for you, but I personally like the shorter approach with more options.
The top down art is a mixed bag. The backgrounds are decent, but the character sprites look very goofy a lot of the time, especially when walking or looking sideways. The choice to the same models as the more detailed portraits and scenes pays off when characters are in less stock poses at least.

GAMEPLAY
Dull. Tedious. You walk around the map looking for stuff to grab then go to the one spot that actually advances the plot.
Character interactions is rudimentary at best. You can talk, ask to have sex, and if you're playing in hard mode use the very abstract heart containers to give yourself more room to improve your relationship with the women. Would have been nice if this more more natural and not wholly abstract. This by the way is what separates normal from hard? The heart containers are everywhere, easy to spot, easy to get.

FINAL THOUGHTS
If you like playing as a guy who can't have sex without first using a magical date rape drug you might enjoy this. For everyone else stay far, far away from Lust Epidemic. Hell, even if you ARE fine with that you could do better than this game's plodding pace and dull as dirt hunt for items RPG Maker engine adventure game stylings. For a game that uses DAZ studio models it looks decent, but when you compare it to any game that doesn't use stock or ripped models for its artwork it's an embarrassment.

TLDR:
A great example of what can be achieved in RPGM. This game is both, a 'detective' game and an 'adult' game and IMO, given the polish and effort put into it any rating other than 5/5 stars would be unfair.
Definitely give this a try if you're still in doubt.

A Bit of Context:
I decided to give this a go before playing 'Treasure of Nadia'. And about 30 hours later I 100%-ed game. I'm glad I did it.
Below I'll highlight my likes and dislikes (I'll hide them to save your screen space, but feel free to read on):

Lust Epidemic v1.0 [Completed]

I played this game back in late 2018 up to mid of 2019 but stopped (did not finished) due to technical issues. Recently, I decided to complete both Lust Epidemic and Treasure Of Nadia, I wanted to start with this game being the first in the series but I had lost the save files (had to start from the beginning), so I completed ToN (which was already at 80% completion) first.

I guess I should have started with this game first because clearly ToN had improved a lot especially the renders and animations. However, this game is still good if not great for a 2018 RPGM game.

The story is well written and I enjoyed it very much. I don't have favorites LIs in this game but all the girls/LIs are alright. Some might like it or hate it but the core lewd theme are MILFs.

There are a lot of contents offered by the game for events that occurred in the span of just a few in-game days. Game has replayability for lewd scenes during and after completion.

No money grind but the map is huge so a lot of travelling 'grind' required, which can be a turn off for some.

The cutscenes and lewd scenes are fairly short which is a plus since they are non-skippable (you can fast forward either by rapid clicking/pressing, or click/press and hold).

5 stars from me because of all the above and most importantly, the game mechanics implementation was good which gave me satisfactory gameplay experience.

When it comes to RPGM games they tend to mostly fail in the whole combat system and grinding to proceed further in the story, eliminating that and adding puzzles as well exploring with good looking sprites and interesting mechanics and a well-made story, brings out the best of the engine along-side storytelling.

Best rpgm game with lots of fluid animation but the only miss is some female models are not that great looking but NLT has overcame those miss on its next title "Treasure of Nadia" and hope to keep on improving on next projects as well. And some times it kinda feel bit stale but overall 7.5/10.
