Yes. I will have to edit the event and add an option to help her without abusing but yes. People who already did the event will be able to use a cheat code to alter the outcome.
I think hes talking about why it displays that hint AFTER you do an inkset event (I've seen that, and it is a bug).

Assuming you met the girl, you have to pick the right dialogue options. Full list of things you need to do from start, spoilers ahead:
If this is the only scene you're missing then I'm guessing you've met her already on the beach. All you have to do is impregnate her and pick the right dialogue choices. You can change pregnancy odds to 'on' in the settings to speed things up.
As for Helen and her glossaries, everything is unlocked by playing the memory minigame. Talk to he in the circle room. Alternatively you can switch the minigame off. It will spawn collectible magazines found in different locations. You pick them up and get the reward.

You may wanna upload to various file sharing sites. They likely aren't gonna update the thread without these external links. Which would explain why I, and likely many others didn't even realize versions 16 and 17 were already a thing...

Ok I'm torn.
I sea the sentence, "you're a novice wizard" and my interest is peaked, few porn games where you are legitimately a actual wizard and not a warrior/fighter or just some idiot ok got some magical mcguffin for plot reasons. But I look at the tags and see nothing of interest so anyone can get me a run down on if the game is actually interesting?
Is there actually a narrative story or just a sequence of events and mishaps with the mc just having pussy fall on his dick? Does the "novice wizard" actually have play in the story or is it just a descriptor and it could actually be removed from the description and nothing would be lost?

You are not really using the succ powers this way.
Think of her more as a stay at home sex slave that gives the occasional perk.
There is a charm spell... but so far you don't have access to it. The succ power protects you from having it used on you though, and the succ helps you turn the table on the woman who tries to enslave you with said spell.
It is literally the funniest game I have ever played.
You being a wizard absolutely plays into it. You are often using magic and the plot revolves around magic.
Basically, you go to wizard school while also signing up for an exchange program with the police. Thus making you the only wizard policeman in the the local state.
And the plot clearly reflects it... that said, the plot is very crack-ish.
And I'd say about 70% of the content is just you chasing waifus rather than doing wizard stuff.
The only way to get minigames with minigames disabled is to ask the girl in the magic theory club to play one.
And when you do it explicitly warns you before you do it and states that you can just not do that and instead just find the magazines scattered around the world to unlock the exact same bonus pictures in the gallery.
Crashes do exist but are very rare. You just had bad luck to encounter one. If you report it on discord with a save file from just before the crash the author could fix it. As he is really on top of fixing bugs as they are reported
