Yeah, after years of posting regular updates between the two games, they just vanished. Makes me wonder if something happened to them.

They weren't abandoned, dev most likely had some very serious IRL problem. Now he's back and has also announced the next patch for this game on discord.
That was my thought too. After years of regular updates, they just vanished.
Well the Dev just update the other game and back from the dead.. So good news i guess maybe we get Lust legacy update by end of year. facepalm
I'm super happy to see this game is gonna get updates again.
I really appreciated the fact that this particular game felt like an homage to a few of the more popular American pornstars. That it was unique Ava Addams, Riley Reid, etc. content that wasn't just more irl scenes. Bringing real life to animation is always a cool artistic style.

I agree. It makes it a lot more fun for me. If you want, you can imagine that these real stars are acting as actors in the game, playing parts or a pretend version of themselves.
I mean they're probably still dealing with those issues, which might be legal issues or personal ones.
Not really.. Sex note is 1000 times better and I couldn't understand why they would start a new game when Sex Note isn't finished yet, since they already are overwhelmed by doing on game.
Sex Note has mainly original characters except very few references. But this game here is built around actual pornstars which is boring asf. Not only because sex isn't anything special for pornstars, but because everybody seen them like 100000 times already.
Different people like different things. While I do like Sex Note, I think its too weird in a lot of ways, and i really liked the dev taking their skills in the direction that they were with LL, which is far more appealing to me. I guess we'll eventually see what happens with both.
What you say doesn't make sense to me since LL is doing exactly the same thing again from Sex Note, just with pornstars instead of casual people. Everything else remains the same, the entire framework didn't change. You just don't have the shinigamis here but they and the super-powers played a very minor role in SN.
Well, we see it differently. I felt like the magic stuff played a major role in SN. And to that end was intentionally over the top and silly. Not that it was wrong, because it was obviously key in the plot. Just that its not really my thing. The MC was also intentionally young and innocent looking/acting, and that's not perferable to me either.
With LL, at least the bones of what's there, it feels more grounded while obviously being a fantasy. And more of an interesting bit of a mystery to uncover while the MC goes down the hole into becoming a porn star. And that in itself is always something I want more of in games, so for me its highly appealing. And to have a situation where your character lives out the fantasy of having sex with these real, and well drawn porn stars is hot to me.
