Ren'Py - Completed - Lust & Life [v1.6.241029 Extra] [Astaros3D]

It's pretty good so far, and I don't want to judge the game too harshly right off the bat since it is in it's earliest stages. So this is just what's based right now in 0.5.04EX:

The characters look good, as expected, and the brief animations that aren't sex-related are pretty good. While I personally would've liked it if our character didn't have a face, this is fine too. Gameplay-wise, though, is a bit jarring if solely because there isn't much guidance. What I mean by that is that the two big parts of actual "gameplay", helping the MILF and finding the mask (I won't count helping the little sister out as that's just math or fixing the picture since that's pretty easy to do, and I even hesistate to call finding the mask "gameplay") are pretty difficult especially the second one. Trying the find that mask with no help can be pretty brutal especially since the mask blends in with with clothes it's in front of. Maybe a brief synopsis on what you have to do for the first part and some more hints for the second one could alleviate this. Otherwise, I'm pretty excited as to what this game will have in store. Even if the font suggests something pretty sketchy...

What a crap game.

This game is boring grind with little to no pay off and stupid min games. And the dev has take out quality of life features that hurt game play. Renpy's rollback feature is handy for when you accidently skip dialogue but the dev removed it. Oh no can't have player rollback in the game they MIGHT actually have fun with exploring different dialogue options.

Something Dev's don't seem to understand about gambling mechanics the house ALWAYS wins in real life so if you don't let players cheat at least a bit by save spamming or rollbacks then you create mechanics that make you the dev a complete asshole as the odds are you will LOSE and LOSE over and over again, that is how real gambling works. Gee thanks just what I want in a flap game, realistic gambling mechanics. Just so I can grind out story steps.

This game left me annoyed, pissed at the Dev and a feeling of getting no return on my time. A GAME should be enjoyable not a vehicle for someone obsessive need to control the players from skipping a grind.

Don't waste you time playing this game it is crap and filled with "anti-cheats" that Force you to grind and frankly I have more interesting things to do with my time then grind out content because a developer is too unimaginative about mechanics and wants to punish players for not wanting to waste time grinding. There is also no sex in this game after 5+ releases and still no sex.

The pacing of the story is really hurt by the grind as well. But don't grind thinking you'll get laid as I said before there is no sex in the game. just a couple of hand jobs and a blow job.

Lets do a check list for this flap game
- no sex (that's got to be a deal break in a flap game)
- lots of grinding for little content
- anti cheats to stop you from skipping the grind
- no rollback to let you explore the story options with ease
- annoying mini games

Great content but a lot of bugs are present in this game. I love the way how you make your girls, and story is awesome but you have to fix all those bugs...
BTW, I think in few month you will be the best storyteller in this industry

I played v.01 long ago and then this one.

I think that anyone can clearly see the developer's strategy. In the first version there was hardly content and now, in the fourth, there is not much either. But do you know what was in the first? That great animation: the girl walking with those tits and the butt shaking... That was the hook, you know... so that you stay playing.

Because then, the game doesn't have that kind of animations. It's a deception. There is a bad intention in the author. Also, the updates are too slow. Astaros3D need more people in the team. Once a month for 20 minutes of gameplay? Please...

Also, the story does not seem interesting. The mother, the doctor and the little sister are inexpressive. I don't feel like see what's next in those plots. I just want to see what will happen to the two older sisters. But it doesn't matter because the game will take two years to be complete. It's not worth the wait.

Neither the Angel nor the Devil are funny. Then the fight is annoying, just like in My Cute Roommate. Exploring is boring ... just click everywhere.

The mouth animation when speaking was unnecesary, since there is no voice. The music and the sound effects are too normal.

This game is very poor. A pity because the blonde sister and the brunette are very beautiful

This is the perfect example of how a game can be good without incest (at least I don't think it has incest from what I played so far). I enjoy incest, but we simple have so many games with this on these days.

Very good renders. I'm not a big fan of big boobs, and this game seems to have lots of them. But, they are not the ugly giant ones that we see on some games, so I'm loving.

That game is like game from Bethseda. Just "DODO" game that players might rework to working game at home. I think players is from word playing not from fixing bugged stuff.

Navigation thru this game is really bad.
Graphic is good and animations too.
Story is just flat.
Game is extremely buggy and gameplay is just bad. You have decision and if you picked bad one ... "Game over" wich is the most stupid type of gameplay design.

Overal: Not wort to play, just because for some tits and butts.

the choice was to far away from the plot，and have tons of bugs，nearly every scenes has a bug，and you can't even move forward for just one step.
I suggest the creator rebuilt this game form the very start，and check every bug，after all we want to play a game that at least can running smooth.

Art's about the only thing this one has going for it thus far. Decent if idealized, but I'm a fan of curves.

Writing needs work. Characterization is weak; the MC and quaasi-mom are blanks, the daughter(?) is the only one characterized and that character is 'annoying'. Implementation is very railroad-y in obtuse ways.

No real porn content besides not-mom schlicking in the shower and some poses in a harness, so nothing to squick me there. Don't like violence in my porn games.

Too much dev effort was lost to the roulette minigame and that fistfight scene can go fuck itself sideways with a flagpole: adds nothing and could easily be cut. I'd take a star for that alone.

TLDR: has the kind of unlimited potential that only being stuck at the bottom of my watch list with nothing yet inside could grant. Watchin it in hopes it goes somewhere.

I'm quite impressed of Astaros3D. Yes, I didn't expect that leap in quality (animations, sounds, expressions) in the early days of a new game. Just watching the alley catwalk scene REALLY got me on fire! Probably the best prolog I have seen for a long time. I just don't like free-roam storytelling.

When I launch this game, I thought that "dev has some experience and do not make simple mistakes".
But I was wrong.
Pixelhunting is crap - I want to play game but not looking for right pixel. Just make clickable items more sensibility with better backlighting.
Minigames. I hate them. And one thing when I can skip them or I have some alternatives but if it's save/load grinding - it's f**king bullshit.
I don't recommend playing this game for now.

This game is all about visuals, animations and lewd content. Doesn't that sound good, you ask? For me, it's simply not enough. The story is poor and there is no buildup whatsoever. The little demon will show you everything you need to see right away.

THE GOOD:
- Decent renders.
- Good music.
- Classic point and click adventure elements might be good for some.

THE BAD:
- Plot is not very interesting to put it mildly.
- Annoying navigation between rooms.
- Classic point and click adventure elements might be pain in the ass for some.
- Too much imagination.
- The demon and the angel do not provide comedic element.
- Mouth animations are not very good and completely unnecessary without voice acting.

THE UGLY:
- Too much body mass transferred from the waist up and down for ALL the female characters. I'd be OK with one, but all three?!

No one can ever question Astaros3D skill level when it comes to quality renders and animations. However, when it comes to the stories, character development and game play that’s another thing.

Story:
There really isn’t much to tell guy gets into an accident while getting his dick sucked, supposedly had drugs on him, which indicates that he was framed, has to go in hiding and ends up being saved by a hot milf who has 3 daughters. Oh, and he hallucinates and see angels and demons.

Gameplay:
This sandbox has gotten a lot better since it first was released. It’s easier to navigate around, but you have to be quick with tasks seeing as how time is constantly moving and you can miss opportunities if you’re not alert. If there wasn’t a “show hidden buttons” option in this game, you’d be screwed because they’d be no way to know when to trigger these “buttons” so I’m glad that option was eventually implemented. These invisible triggers can screw up your progress if you miss them, especially if you needed lust energy for a certain scene to trigger. I can be a task trying to unlock some of the gallery pics but it’s not impossible.

Characters:
Then issues I have with the main character is he’s pretty much a beta male or at least comes off as one. He just happens to get his dick wet. He’s this short guy with this weird, creepy childlike face on a man’s body. Meanwhile, all the women are towering over him, with the exception of Lola of course. He’s constantly being a pushover, whether it’s the ladies in the household or even the Angel and Demon. His cock is another issue alone, as others have pointed out it’s changed over the course of the game. This is a game killer for me, especially if you’ve fantasized about seeing certain LI’s stretched out. A constant fluctuating cock is not appealing to me. Doing his sex scenes with Lola he appears to be hung, but with other women like the Lawyer and most recently with Vanessa sucking him off, he has an average dick. That and the fact he’s a manlet makes him look like a shota.

Mia:
Mia is the typical camwhore, gotta have on every game right? She’s rough around the edges of course and is jealous of her relationship with Lola because she feels Vanessa favors her. That’s pretty much all there is to her, she’s a slut without actually being a slut.

Lola:
The typical sweet, schoolgirl with pigtails that his an interest in sex. Nothing much from her and there’s not really any depth with her character, she’s just curious. The Lola sex scene was lackluster, like there was no passion whatsoever, nothing sexy or anything special about. Mc: Let’s have sex. Lola: Okay, but only 69. Like seriously? Not to mention these annoying Angels and Demons are constantly talking and butting in at the wrong time.

Vicky:
I thought Vicky would be the even kill, balanced sister since she’s the middle child, but she’s kind of like Mia in some ways, they both step all over the MC. There isn’t really much depth to her yet either, other than the fact that her boyfriend cheated on her.

Vanessa:
Vanessa went from this standout, strong chick with a great head on her shoulder to just another typical cock craving horny slut. Dressing slutty to go to the club, wearing no panties, the usual. One minute she hates her lawyer friend the next she’s getting her pussy eaten by her and tag teaming the Mc.

Astaros3D is great like I said with renders and animation, but the stories and characters never have depth and that’s not even a bad thing. Some people just wanna fap and corrupt and seduce sluts, so to each it’s own.

EDIT: Few updates later and bugs, plenty of them. Once this has been sorted I still think it will be an excellent game.
