absolutely love this game. a bit of a grind in early versions but he's worked hard to make the game flow better and is still improving.
Graphics are top notch. Girls are hot, story flows well.
Its getting better as it goes on.

This game is fantastic. The renders/art are awesome. The occasional animations of characters is really fun (especially Mai...wowww!) Unlike other ren'py creations where it's just a virtual novel the whole way through and you have to sit through a bunch of long drawn out text before seeing anything of interest, Girl House is an actual game where your decisions matter, and each choice can have a positive or negative effect. You also have to figure out what tasks you must complete to get to the next step, and do a lot of talking, walking, and learning, which keeps it interesting. Objects are sometimes difficult to find, which it makes nicely challenging. The angel and demon characters are a really nice touch, offering fun perspectives of each scenario. The game isn't overly difficult, but it's not necessarily "too easy" either, and the hints are very helpful. Definitely one of my favorites and I look forward to supporting its completion.

This by far the Best game i've played in a long time! It has the best looking modals i've seen! Animations are Superb! Possibly the one slight drawback! is the MC! he looks weird And the lack of a chin is somewhat off putting! That been said! Who cares LOL As long as the Babes are as gorgeous as they are That's what counts!

The story is rather light and the game is quite simple with the help included but the characters are super well done and the animations are excellent with the possibility of choosing between different angles of view. There are games where the story is long and where H-scenes are desperately awaited, here the story is not very developed but the H-scenes are fairly regular and hot as hell.

Review:
It's not the first but the second time that I try to play this game and to the great surprise, the game is still bad. There are many things in this game that are quite annoying, such as the flashback that the MC has, it happens occasionally after a conversation or some scene. Nobody wants to watch this scene repeat itself, it seems that the game was made by some teenager who thinks this is funny and will make someone laugh, because I don't know the reason for the repetition of the scene of the MC accident.
History:
The story is confusing, it is honestly not going to please you very much. There is no depth to the script, let alone an interest in trying to keep up.
However, there are things that you would say don't make sense, like the fact that the MC is very similar to Vanessa's deceased son, that he has an angel and a demon speaking in his mind, and that everyone in the house sees you and treats you like if he never saw you in his life. The MC is in a car accident and a girl very much like Vicky was with him, the MC runs away from the hospital for fear of being caught by the police investigator, when Vanessa welcomes you to her home, you cannot leave the house afraid of the investigator, there are so many no sense things that you lose interest.
Gameplay:
The gameplay tries to look good but it isn't. The clock ticks by the minutes, that's good, but at the same time bad. But why bad? for the simple fact that the interface is not so organized, because it is often horrible to have to manage the time in this game, not that it is something so complicated, but it is a bit boring. It is boring to have to keep clicking between the rooms in the house, in the previous game it was even a little better, but in this one, there are many rooms and few actions, you know? Not to mention that tasks are often boring to do, and the tips system does not help much. But then, in summary, the gameplay of this game is that you have to keep repeating until triggering a task to advance in the story. There are not many interactions and actions with the characters.
Sexual Content:
The game has good renderings of the female character models, the animations are also good, but when it comes to sexual content, it is disappointing. You need to grind to see some scenes a little, how can I say, disappointing. There are some good scenes, however, the others could be much better. Anyway, it is a waste of time.

Why I did gave 1 star?
The reason for giving this rating was not only for the history of the game, but for the annoying gameplay, the grind, some bugs, and the sexual content looks pretty silly. I know it may seem unfair, after all, the game has good renderings and animations, but think how boring it is to play something where everything goes slowly. You don't see a constructive relationship with the characters, you see a slutty girl, another who is a slut and one who is innocent wanting to be a slut. Cool, it looks great, but it looks like the game is blue balls, you have some interesting scenes (like Lola's), and others not much. Anyway, the previous game was much better because there were small fetishes, like living with your hot cousin and fucking with her, though, and in this game? if it continues slowly as it is, it will be a waste of time.

It is my first negative review as I prefer not to do that but such a waste of beautiful models. The dev has real talent in creating very beautiful characters and really erotic scenes but the game play is terrible making his games not a pleasant experience. The same disadvantages as his previous game "my cute roommate". Personally I can not play his games and I only have a look at the gallery. I understand that he has many patrons and he is pleased with the result but the market out there gets more competitive every day.

Great animations, but the game is painfully slow & boring its a grind to get anywhere in the game itself & considering your stuck inside the house due to storyline it get repetitive very quickly, there is no hint system whatsoever other than some vague objective that is not fully detailed makes the game even more of a chore to play through, which is a shame when the renders are done so well, but if the gameplay isn't interesting then the game is no fun

It gets the job done, I just wonder how much more content there's gonna be. Models are pretty hot, animations are decent, scenes are somewhat believable which is a plus. Hoping for more content in the future!

Overall I'm a fan of this one, they've just got some work to do.

Artwork - easily the best thing about this game. It looks fantastic

Writing - I imagine it's translation issues, but this stuff gets real bad. That said, the developer comes up with some interesting scenes and set pieces. For me it gets a laugh from time to time but doesn't ruin the immersion

Gameplay - standard point-and-click with a house to explore. Nothing revolutionary but it's done alright. There's a constantly advancing time mechanic that's more annoying than interesting, but luckily you can switch it off.

Pacing - if you use the hints the pacing is solid. I never felt frustrated at the slow progress. That said the game gives the impression of having a lot more content than it actually does so far. You might find yourself at the end saying, "that's it?"

I'd probably skip an update or two in-between check-ins on this game.

during playing that game i have mixed feelings- good work piece, but bad condition...

- disapoitment effect from lack of content- by idea and code only 10-20% content ready.
CONS:
- w/o wt, asking help or reading code (code very complicated and readable by less than 1% people) many ppl ll stuck pair times during gameplay.
- despite very good base code history development that game contain many bugged/unplayable releases
- translations... to switch lang u must start new game... no, i dnt mean just choising lang during start game- i mean: if u close game- game back to eng and only 1 way change lang- start new game and then load ur game. dev do u kidding us? u wrote good game core and do that?!
- translations again. i mean translations not only incomplete (near 15-20% translated)- dev used google translations. and thats strange- dev must be russian (some variables names have russian ground), but even russian translation incomplete (near 15%) and maked with google w/o even fixing... i rly had great hope play on deutsch, but this translation also unplayable...
- no game hints, instead- some dialoges direct wrong way
- no signals like "no more new content" - read code or wt(at current moment no wt)

game not blacklisted, but ill be wait 1.5-2 years to play normal version.

This game is starting to hit it's stride. Due to Astaros continuing work on MCC for months afterward it really slowed down progress.

In my opinion Girl House has some of the hottest models on the site.

As for bugs, I haven't experienced many, but I don't use mods.

Story is basic, but decent enough and is pulling things together. The corruption path for the youngest girl is super hot and I like that her body type balances out the curvy women in the game.

Giving it 5 stars to balance out the haters who imo unfairly give 1 or 2 stars. For me the game is now about a 4.

Keep up the good work and I'm glad some spicy content is finally getting added in.

Astaros has improved the game mechanics drastically. The older negative reviews below should be read with that in mind. I tried the game way back. It was a bug fest and frustrating tease grind. I came here ready to rip the game mechanics and give it one star. Just downloaded the newest version. And it seems Astaros has heard the complaints. All *minigames can be skipped, money making easy, *instant travel possible with purchased item, no sex yet, but *plenty of nudity and lewd interactions and no aimless guessing since the *hint system keeps the game moving and *fast forward lets the player progress to the next stage quickly and finally, I encountered *no bugs. For a sandbox it's become fluid and easy. It's still a bit of a tease but there are rewards and the character renders remain beautiful.

tldr Game is vastly improved. Recommended. 5/5 to compensate for out of date one star reviews. True rating 4/5. One star off due to dearth of finishes in the action scenes ie. blue balling.

This game starts off with a pretty exciting escape sequence with a lot of promise, but quickly devolves into a run of the mill sisterfucker. Unlike most of these games the time runs constantly, ticking off about one minute per second. There is a fast forward button you can use to speed through the day as well. While the game is set up like a free roaming game the plot advancements are laid out in a very linear fashion so it's more of a VN where you have to hunt for the "continue story" button. There is the trappings of a money grind, but since you get the money more or less exactly as you need it there isn't really much grind. There is the possibility of buying the wrong thing and locking yourself out of a story trigger however I think. Generally once you buy an item that way of making money will disappear and only reappear right before you need to buy the next item.

There are 6 possible love interests in the game currently:
1. The mom. Does some handjobs and you get some peering at her oversized boobs.
2. The younger sister. Peeping at her while she's changing, and some semi-forced blowjobs. Also some spanking.
3. The bitchy older sister. Handjobs, Blowjobs, lots of ogling her body.
4. The other bitchy older sister. Some muff munching early on and then the content completely dries up.
5. The doctor. One scene where the fact that you have magic powers suddenly comes up (only time in the game), then she disappears forever.
6. The neighbor. Nothing yet.

So overall it's still a bit thin feeling, especially since the game takes several real world hours to get through all of the built-in delays and time wasters. Luckily the tedious minigames can be skipped. What sucks is when you do some activity on Sunday morning and the in game tip switches to "Interact with X on Saturday Afternoon". This happens several times.

The renders are nice enough to look at. Not top 1% stuff, but respectable. The wheels come completely off of the story once you get to the house, and as of this version little to no progress is made on it. The MC is so laser focused on banging everybody in the house that he basically forgets everything from the first part of the game. The game doesn't have grind so much as it has forced delays waiting for the clock to come around to the right time so you can do the next thing, or hunting around the house trying to figure out what some overly vague clue is asking you to do.

Bug wise I had several problems with the quest tip system not updating correctly and a fairly consistent crash to desktop after about an hour of play. If you're going to play this game remember to save regularly.

The above average renders are cancelled out by the below average story and occasional crash. Overall the game is average.

great game for people who like to grind for some tease posing, a frame or two of action, but no finish.

for an 18-month game, there is almost no finished sex scenes. so if you like porn games with a oral sex or hand job or titfuck with a beginning and a happy ending .... this game is not for you.

His last game is one of my favourites but this game after a year and a half is terrible, the story seemed interesting until you get to the house then it's boring scene after scene with a few nudity or bjs slipped in and that's it, nothing with the angel or devil, like 2 scenes with the devils "special xray power" and everything else is just boring.
I'm a fan of sandbox games like his last one but this one is so badly done. The character models are nice though.

Still a somewhat early release, so maybe this will improve, but so far this has been really disappointing.

I really loved My Cute Roommate by this dev. I am one of those weird guys that generally actually likes the sandbox format because of the freedom it allows and I can take some pleasure from grinding because when you have to work for your sex scenes, they feel much more rewarding.

I also thought the characters just looked so hot in the previous game, especially the main love interest, who just had the hottest body I've ever seen.

All of these things seem to have worsened in this game. The grind and sandbox format isn't fun or rewarding in the slightest. Luckily you can skip the minigames, otherwise I would seriously have raged, but even so, you just spend an eternity earning enough money to buy all the shit that doesn't actually give you much rewarding content.

The animation is still top-notch, and the main reason for this game even getting a second star from me. But even so, you only really have content with one of the girls, with two others you have some really small teasing and the fourth one is just sitting around, and you have no storyline whatsoever with her so far.

The time feature, while more realistic than in other games, is also therefore more annoying; if you missed a girl in the specific location at the specific time you needed to be there for a scene by one minute, you just have to skip through an entire whole day again, that gets really annoying real fast.

Because you're so far only stuck in this one house, you have also very limited locations to explore.

I don't know, can't really recommend this game which is really disappointing because I absolutely loved My Cute Roommate. Maybe MCR was as bad in the early stages? Idk, I just came across it when it was already finished. So maybe this game will also be amazing by the time it's all said and done but I've seen other devs make more out of early releases, so that's not really an excuse.

I'll probably still revisit this game at irregular intervals to see how it pans out with future updates because I really like the animation and then I might change my review, but so far, 2 stars is all it deserves in my opinion. Disappointing.
