Ren'Py - Completed - Lust & Life [v1.6.241029 Extra] [Astaros3D]

This game has too many technical flaws to give it more than two stars.

The game play is massacred by a very heavy grinding, in which sometimes it's not enough to be in the right place at the right time. Despite being a short game, getting to the end is really hard.

The story is trivial but that's the least of the problems.

From a graphical point of view it does well, both the renders and the animations are good.

Full of bugs, terrible hint system and it ends so suddenly and in a way that feels rushed and incomplete. I refuse to believe this ending was the original plan. The story started out interesting and good, but overall it feels incomplete and rushed

Animations are decent

This game is a disappointment. That is the short version.

Now as for why its a disappointment that is something that needs more explanation.

The visuals of the game are above average, the women are beautiful and the animations are for the most part smooth save for one or two that seem like they are missing a few key frames so they flutter at extreme speeds.

The story at first seems par for the course of an adult game. Have accident, bust out, get picked up, get "locked" (house arrest would also work) in a house with four beautiful women.

After that you are working on building your relationship with them which in the end is largely pointless. At the same time as this is happening you are generating "karma" for lack of a better term through various sexual events that get used to unlock via a "saving roll" mechanic (Example falling into the neighbors yard and failing to have enough karma will lead to a game over instead of you fucking the neighbor.) The MC however is virtually a brick with a dick with little to no character to speak of.

After meeting with the neighbor the story just doesn't matter anymore because some of the objectives become so vague or require a visit to the forums to find the solution for or the outright bugs that I largely stopped paying attention.
After dealing with the 2nd photoshoot bug that might be caused simply by the walkthrough mod being old and out of date the game quite suddenly switched to the MC finding his mother and having one last glorious orgy with the girls in the house regardless of quest or relationship status apparently.

The game has a lot of bugs which only make the sudden brick wall ending more of a mercy then anything else and if you want to enjoy the visuals then grab the gallery unlocker mod and use that.

I hesitate to call this a "complete" game hence why I can only really give it two stars for the visuals and design and also the potential that could have been here.

I really hope someone can take these models and use them in another game because they really are visually distinct models compared to what we normally see.

I turely loved even I get just still in the first event and look really good in way some how .... its look like man of the house but its diffrent and nice and i like the 3d art and story .....
I hope to see more of this game

A short yet fantastically addicting game. Pretty enjoyable story with a few twists and turns, although in my opinion the developer could have milked the ideea a little more without stretching it thin. Great looking models and good animations.

I feel sorry for whoever support this dev.The only redeemable point is renders and thats all.The story is rushed and ended all of the sudden eventhough i dont know whats the plot to begin with.I dont know whats the role for MC because pretty much all the people treat him like he is not exist.They act like he isnt there and treat him like stranger and they all bitching with each other for no actual reason..They stay that way from the start of the game till the end.The point that we need to collect dont have any purpose in this game nor do i understand whats the reason we need to collect all those point when its not even affect anything.Im not recommend this game unless you really bored or dont have anything better to do.

Astaros did a great job with the animations and renders for this games. Specifically for Mia and Vanessa.

Other than that, I cant say I was able to enjoy this game. MC is just a human size walking dildo, nothing else. Your presence does not matter, does not change anything, do not have any affect on other NPC. You're just a toy. As Vanessa has a huge collection of dildos, player could be one of them, no need for a MC and story as there'svery little to do with the story.

Story starts interesting but doesnt get anywhere. I couldnt keep playing I justgave up at some point.

Girls in the house are all acting bithcy without any reason. No interaction with them other than being a toy for them. Most of the time they dont care you're there. As your existance does not change anything, they might be right with this.

Just check the save files, walkthroughs and mods for this game and unlock everything. Just enjoy the scenes that way.

Nonetheless I gave 3 stars, as I see there's a huge work, time and effort gone for this one.

When you see 370 pages of coments believing that the game is good when actually it is just previous players asking direction for missions and reporting bugs...thats what this game is.

Gameplay
The game is created as a sandbox which is not making any sens except grinding for money. Taking the need of money out of ecuation and this game could have been a VN.
Beside that the sandbox structure does not make it easy to understand what you have to do next. You have the tasks and the hints from the angels but sometimes they are not working on the same direction so you just end more confused then when you started.
A lot of people mentioned that the game has bugs but in the latest version majority of them are fixed, the remaining one being toward the end when Mia can not be asked to take the photoshoot.

Girls
This is the strong point of the game. The main models are nice and beside them you have few girls that you have to see/fuck once. The personality of the little sister is a welcomed surprise and appart of the stereotypical shy little syster that 95% of the games took.


Story
Another failure of this game is the story or more exactly the lack of it. If I have to resume it I would say "You arrive in a house full of hot chicks and you have to find ways to fuck them" - thats it.
There is a lack of depth, the "incident" in the beginning do not serve to anything (except as a motive to arrive in a house with full chicks).

Great, another game by Astaros3D

I played this game for a little over an hour. I'm not a huge fan of sandbox but this one was hard to figure what to do and when. This took the fun out of it for me. Nothing against the Dev or the game just not for me.

This game had soo much potential. There were numerous scenes that could have been added and those were even hinted during the game but the dev just got bored I guess. I really hope there is a part 2 of this game. There is no clarity on the mystery that was central to the game at the start of the game. I'm still giving it a 4 because the quality of the scenes that are there is second to none. There's also the group scene at the end that's pretty hot. However, don't expect any story from the game. Just have a great fap and let all your blood rush south, it's alright if you switch off your brain for this game. There's just no plot. Everyone is just ready to fuck and I really don't mind that lol.

Spoilers ahead (not much to spoil but still) !

There will be no explanation regarding the accident nor about photo in the bedroom ! It's so fckn dumb, I can't believe...on the other hand when you will see MC's face you will understand everything you need about Astaros..
Also, regarding MC. That scar on dick...dear lord, MC is assface already, but dev decided to deliver the final BLOW. In terms of "plot", yes, pun intended.
I always check the game 10 times before download it 1 time. And I swear even damned Lewd Island didnt disappoint me that much regarding story. If you played LI, you know it's bad. Go figure.

Angel : Demon lines are always the same and boring and once again no explanation regarding these two, except (quote) "I'm your guardian angel".

Music at the menu also explains a lot about dev. It just doesnt fit at all. Nothing dramatic will happen in this game. Shitface MC got into car accident with dick in girls mouth and somehow managed to get rid of situation with a scar only, instead of being eunuch.

Vanessa scenes after V+M threesome were disappointing. Both times one of the girls intervened with smth stupid.
On top of that, after you already had sex with Vanessa 3 times, wanna try to guess what she'll respond on "Show me your tits" ? God, damn right ! "I'm not a whore !". Suck my D, peep in the shower - same.

After you had L+M threesome, you're coming to Lola to figure out she's a virgin. I mean, after your dick was already inside her, he says that line.

Summary of the above - chronological order of the game and the hints are fckd up. A lot of events, where correlation in between them is simply absent.

Ending came out of nowhere. I didnt expect game to be so short and small.


The only positive side - visuals (if you can wipe dorkface MC out of your memory). Several angles during scenes is nice. Most of woman char-s are to my taste. 2 stars only because of this.

It feels like it's some throwaway project, because, again, everything except visual is fckd up. It's not worth your time nor your money.
Unless this dev hires someone to write the story and the lines, Imma just download the unlocker and enjoy the show.

It was nice to see the characters in "My Cute Roommate" again.
Personally, I wish there were more scenes of "Bella."

There are some disappointments.
The atmosphere on the main screen was as if there was a huge conspiracy, but it wasn't.
It would have been nice if there was a bad ending.
Bad ending is about the MC's mother and uncle having sex.
Or the MC's uncle does something bad to Vanessa's family.

But this is a really good game. I really recommend it.

I really loved the game and the models and the story were amazing up until the last update when that rushed as hell ending came. The story had so much potential but too bad that was all wasted. I really hoped to see more of the neighbour...

I concur with most reviewers that the ending is rushed, but this game was really worth playing (with the mod): very nice (and hot) animations, a good build up/pace (without a realistic story tbh), and original game mechanics.
In the modded version the option for the second photoshoot with Mia and Bella didn't appear in the dialog menu, but that's fixable by loading that save with an unmodded version.
I've played many games that I downloaded via this website, and this game really stands out in terms of animations. I agree with the other reviewers on the negative aspects (story, ending, some game mechanics) but it sure was exciting to play.

I will be straight up. I didn't like this game... I am not saying its overly terrible but the issue with this game goes beyond just a problem with me finding it unlikeable.

If we start with the things that I just simply didn't like it would be the ending was terrible, and that the girls well lets just say you can't corrupt something that was already corrupted. The corruption is pointless since they were already slutty and it was obvious they wanted sex.

Now outside of things that I just simply didn't like... well the ending being terrible is because it felt like it wasn't finished, the corruption system being pointless because they already act corrupted, the lack of sex scenes or any lewd scenes really honestly, and finally the biggest issue I had was the amount of mechanics added to the game that felt like they were added just to annoy you. I feel like the mechanics they added to this were probably just a test run and honestly they made the game feel clunky.

I did mention that the game wasn't all that bad and the good things I would say that the girls are really pretty, the story before the end is actually pretty good and makes you want to know whats gonna happen, the hint system is really helpful, the animations are actually pretty good (if you consider what competitors produce).

Overall I felt pretty bored playing this about mid game and just didn't find it enjoyable. I do seem to be in the minority though and I can see why people might like it and would even put aside how clunky the game feels. So I would say give it a shot because I do think that it can be an on the fence game and some people might actually enjoy it.

3 Stars because of the ending and incomplete game.. Don't worry, it's still a decent game, that is worth a play, but that ending makes you feel like the Developer actually wanted to abandon the game, but made something up to not "spoil" his portfolio with abandoned games.

+++Animations are top-notch, and so are the girls
+ The first half of the game is paced nicely but towards the end, you encounter scene after scene, a bit too fast.

- The Dev implemented a "slut" meter for each girl, that you start increasing, but no girl actually manages to use it meaningfully in the end... You can increase one of them to ~40% and that's it.. the rest even lower. No idea what that system should've done, but in the end is a failed mechanic that only makes you frustrated when you learn that it was for nothing

- - Two of the girls are left in the end without any free-roam choices. Even though in the "story" they sleep with you, the game ends without allowing them to flash their boobs or anything like that. The free-roam options will still treat you as a Stranger. Another hint that this was was nearly abandoned and had an ending made fast.

A good game, the dev is already the author of a very good game and I must say that this one doesn't disappoint either, fose a little short. Music and sounds are good, graphics are great as well as the hot scenes, story is very nice and the characters are great. It's a very good game.

En cuanto a la historia, creo que podría sacar más provecho del detective y del vecino, pero es divertido, excelentes animaciones, gráficos, aunque creo que no está completamente optimizado. Well im a fan of Astaros3D. His models and their interactive sex scenes (with sound) are the best. That's the only reason i give the game 5 stars.

The gameplay is hard and grindy (specially with the time mechanic) yeah thats true, but to be honest i always played the modded versions so they where pretty easy with cheats, even with android. Thats a huge plus.

This time i tried to play the game tho and i was having fun but then i realized that you could actually replay all the scenes with out playing so i just jumped to that and i just came twice and in not even through half of them. So i came here to write my first review!

The sex scenes and the girls are just top noch so if you want a great fap session go for the sex scenes with the extra version. Im pretty sure the game is fun too but just the animations make this game one of the best here. At least if you like horny bimbos cumming like crazy.
