I've no idea what the dev is going through, but all the new arts (that replaces old ones) are worse, and kinda YAOI style.

Seems like alot of artist lately keep changing there character designs and making them worst lately prime example being the outland wanderer dev his earlier designs were so good then he keeps on making them look cartoonier and cartoonier and they looks so bad now it's like the 5th time he's completely remade most of the sprites they are so bad
What's the most broken build in the game? Magic? Melee? Tried a ranged build and the multi shot works ok but there's probably something better
Literally dodge and lust cheated and gave myself skill points at like 15 dodge you can't pretty much be hit

Too much dialogue and so few sex scenes with art, even when you are boning a character it only show the basic idle CG with clothes variations. I liked the art style and the writing is okay, but so far it has been a drag. Does this game get any better? I've already beaten the dino guy. The only characters that interest me so far are Rilan and the scientist

okay, I'm just gonna write here that I LOVE new Egon's art! I've seen a few comments about how people preferred the original one, so I decided to share my oposite opinion: with new art Egon actually looks like a little demon that has this 'mischievous' vibe, I love it

Me too. He's not bad looking as he is in fact, he's still cute in a devilish kind of way, but the original version of him was indeed better for the cute baby face of his was way hotter and that's saying something lol. I believe when it comes to recreating character's appearances and customizations, the dev of any story-based game be it porn content or clean content, needs to be careful not to make a radical decision in changing things especially if it wasn't really necessary to do to begin with. And if they do wanted to offer a change to a character, it would definitely be best to make a poll of some sort for patreons to vote or just simply use their better judgement and leave well enough alone. Nonetheless what's done is done. Hopefully the dev doesn't make a habit of changing things that could eventually have dire consequences in the long run. All in all, one thing I can appreciate so far which is by far the most important, is the dev taking careful time not to be too ambitious with branches and the story plot that goes unfinished like other devs have (That I won't mention here) and end up biting off more than they can chew. So the dev so far has done a good job in this aspect and I hope the dev continues to do so for the game is very unique with a lot of untapped potential and I could see this eventually beating out Lustful Desires as well as it continues to grow in content.
The problem with polls is that they are incredibly biased. If a poll was done it would usually be done on their Patreon and the people who subscribe to their Patreon see anything the artist does cannot be wrong and will always pick the answer the artist wants. Polls should just never be done they don't work half the time especially in a fandom that "supports" literally almost anything a artist with terrible decisions wants to do. Regardless if it looks worse or not

Well, I can't even argue about that logic, especially considering a poll on reddit of a very popular character was voted out in a voting contest during the finals, by a not so popular character in a visual novel I was involved in, based just off of redditors commenting and voting who they liked more despite one of the character's overall popularity throughout social media and in the story in question, which definitely were rigged in a few biases favor. So yeah, I could definitely see that still being an issue if left in the hands of polls which are never really truly authentically genuine. Which circles back to my original thought that the dev might want to consider making better judgements on considerations on whether a character needs a remake or left as is, kinda like game developers of console games have to make better judgements on whether a popular game needs a remake or not and if it does, they want to improve it over the original to appease the fans and avoid changing too much or too little that might not stick well with fans hence for example of Resident Evil 2 remake being praised while Resident Evil 3 received more criticism from fans which is something Capcom took to heart and wanted to make sure Resident Evil 4 remake is a success over its predecessor this year when it's finally released. I know an entire game project like resident evil vs a text-based porn game is not the same since one has a team and the other is a solo project, which is all the more reason a solo dev just in general needs to be careful with any remakes to anything within their games that could make or break gameplay experiences for most players especially the ones paying for them. For me personally I think they're a slight step down from some of the original character models like Egon for example but isn't bad either for I still thinks he's handsome and the few others remade aren't too bad to me either, but others might not agree with me as much.

TBH, it doesn't really matter if the dev changing arts, what matters is they need to be consistent and fit into the world / lore.
Like there are a lot of people don't like, meanwhile there're still people appreciate the new YAOI style arts.
It's "working in progress", changes can happen at any time, as long as there's good reason.
Being a porn game just mean there's another aspect you need to consider - are the changes still sexual appealing to your audiences.
BTW, "Community polls" should only be used as "data" and you need to know how to analysis them, rather than "direction" nor "decision" - nobody know better about your game than yourself / yourselves.
A lot of games are ruined by the "Patroen pulls decide the development".

I really like Egon's new art.
He does look more devilish, which honestly tracks and matches what we know about his species.
It also looks much more professional and less amateurish, like the older arts looked.
Regardless of his expression, the old art didn't have nude or cum sprites and I'm assuming the dev changed artists.
So, the new artist clearly had to redo the whole character from scratch instead of trying to emulate the other artist in the nude and cum sprites. It wouldn't match perfectly, and it would for sure look "off". Imagine how jarring it would be to suddenly have a naked Egon that looks different from the clothed one.

I forgot to comment on the update itself.
It was a very good one.
Teasing and then losing for Bradley was really hot, although I'm not particularly turned on by him. I liked having the MC being gang raped.
The stuff with Egon was really good as well and his sex scene was superhot.
The cucking I'm "meh" about but they're still hot scenes.
All in all, another successful update for me.
I hope they do Katari next.
