You could literally swap out one or two of those for your alien characters (again, the whole draw of the game originally). This is explicitly why you don't only do what your patrons vote for. Let them influence like one scene a month or so, not the entire fucking direction of your game.

Game kind of went to shit with Harmonia anyway, mixing fantasy into the sci-fi genre killed the story but yeah and a lot of people feel the way you do and that's why it isn't gonna change, I just have to hold out that one day he gets bored of doing humans

Dam shame, i wanted mc getting buttfucked by giant dicked monsters and aliens. At least, that was the primary draw for me. I didn't follow this much, and learning about this is disappointing. I do pay for games I really like that I find on this site, and this was in my list of possibles. Seems I might have to strike that... I am of the opinion that polls can be nice at times if you want to gauge how your fanbase is feeling, but the reason I pay is to get a curated experience from their minds. If I wanted a custom scenario I'd just use ai "girlfriends" for that. So, I don't want what everyone else wants. Fans of the same thing will always differ on specific taste. But when I pay Im paying for something the person I paid thought up, not some other gooner dipshit. Hell, if I wanted human dick i'd just get on fucking grindr. Being a phat ass btm into bbc in my particular area its nearly an effortless affair lmao.
Is harmonia the last possible planet to discover? I think i finished all quests there except the university one but when i explore galaxy i can t find anymore planets

What all these changes are more beneficial to the developer, than keepong the integrity of the game:
it makes more money with much less efforts. Milking horny whales is way easier than selling a good game.
And it's clear Money is more important to this dev, than making an Amazing, Curated, Cohesive game.
It's very similar to those porn gacha games, although not as notorious as those in terms of monetisation.
But gachas have way higher quality arts, so not sure which is better.

I don't get how mixing sci-fi with fantasy would kill the story? Maybe its cuz i don't play a lot of sci-fi games but the last three i played all has fantasy themed planets/location and all three stories goes just fine. Well, one is currently ongoing (Star Rail with planet Amphoreus) but i thought having fantasy themed location is the norm.

Amphoreus was just an insult to Greek Mythology, and if you're holding that to your standard of "fantasy" I'm not shocked you don't find this underwhelming.
LO went from a deeply immersive creepy/dystopian masterpiece from warring literal gods and finding out we were one too, then went into getting dominated by goblins (not even ORCS) and joining a fking college rather than just having Asmodeo teaching us on a prolonged ride to a planet, it's bloated and boring and it killed the entire vibe of the game.
I mentioned this to him on Patreon and he even apologized, he knows it's just high tier patreon content filler
You lost me even more with this. How is it an insult to greek myth? Is it because its only loosely based on greek myth and not a one-to-one copy paste of it? Is a story no longer considered to be fantasy because its based on mythology? Say, are games like for example Skyrim not a fantasy game because its based on Norse myth?
Harmonia is definitely really slow, too slow even (I would be completely fine without the college thing) but i really like what little that has been revealed so far. Like how (persumably) a god created by a piece of our power can shatter into even more "gods". I also really like Gabriel who's a lot more romantic than sexual, which is a nice change of pace. Also, isnt the fact that Harmonia isn't a dystopia is the main point of the planet? Cuz the god here is practically forcing the inhabitants to be happy. Everyone here is so unbothered that it feels wrong.

They gender changed gods, they added children for no reason and made chimera chibi, litro had nothing to even do with Greek mythology, butchering mythology entirely is just disgusting as it's one of the richest cultures ever.
As for Mythology being part of the fantasy genre is questionable, that's like saying is Christianity based on fantasy because nobody saw Jesus and lots of people believe he wasn't real. (It will be offensive to those who believe)
Agree to disagree with this one then. I don't think borrowing some aspects of mythology and taking some creative liberty = insulting. If they're just gonna basically port the story 1to1 then might as well just read the original.
I think you misunderstood me. I never said mythology is considered part of fantasy genre. I'm asking if a fantasy game takes inspiration/based on real life mythology means its no longer a fantasy game since thats what you implied with my "standard of "fantasy"".

That's literally the same as saying it's fine to trace somebodies artwork just edit it a bit and it's your own, if you're going to copy the original at least keep said Chimera as a 3 headed beast. (or at least intimidating)
It could be still classed as Fantasy it's entirely dependent on if they take religious aspects from said culture, as for people of that culture it would seen more History over Fantasy. I agree you could still label it fantasy though due to sensitivity reason for the culture/races involved.

wow I just read the latest comments and I have similar feelings too. The Harmonia act really flushed the whole game into the drain like WTF. And the human-liking thing is happening to a very similar game with orcs and beasts that I funded for a long time. I also lost polls multiple times to the human-fanboys. Gave up that game and played this one, and the same shit happen. sigh.

People want Instant Gratification and are willing to pay for it.
That's why Gacha (Despite being gambling) are so popular even tho every new chars are just lust bait / porn.
And this game started to take that approach for some time now.
Make sense some Game Dev would chase the quick money, rather than building an immersive, artistic curated and unique game (Which takes much more efforts).
"Human Fanboys" will always exist, just like any other kind of Fanboy,
But dev should Not Compromise Game's Integrity, just to Please Part of the Paid Patroens.
Pretty sure many people like this game simply cuz it can write very good porn Scenes, not "loving these kind of weird games (sci-fi and Alien, not Human Re-skin)".
Remember the First CG we got was Human (until this day still only Human).
And IIRC, there were people Complaining there are even Alien / Monster in this game, said "They are disgusting".
The Human bias existed from start, but the dev didn't let them dictate the game until later.
