Hs anyone tried to override an old Meta-Human version with an new regular version?
Could that 'upgrade' your new regular version into Meta-Human version?

In theory, I guess that could work (if you mean something like copy-pasting the new folder into the old one), but I haven't really tried that before. The regular version most likely has some .rpy files that are different from the meta-human release, though, so replacing them might break something. You could try copy-pasting, but keeping any of the old files that may potentially be related to the cheat/gallery menu, so stuff like options.rpy, gui.rpy, etc.

Honestly, siding with Garth and then siding with Holoryx feels like the "good route" of this game.

I picked Holoryx, cause he's more monstrous and even his unfinished image looks more interesting than the other guy who looks like a male version of Aayla Secura (Twi'lek) from Star Wars. And both of them stay alive and are available in the Pulse on the Holoryx route. So possibly the best one for future content (?).
Also tried out the other choice on secondary save and no sex with either Holoryx or Nikolaos on either choice as a dom top.
I just hope it's not going be to like Galiano and Garth where one route (probably the more human looking one) gets way more content.
What happened to Garth though? I let Holoryx know Garth is still alive, at the end I got a message that all Xeonians were killed except Garth, but I can't find Garth anywhere in Akra or on the asteroid pirate base.

Starting this month, the monthly character polls will work differently.
Imo, a very welcome change. The amount of options was getting way too big, and characters without a lot of content were getting left behind.
I do wonder how the Sithyrya poll will work. Wouldn't it be just Snake and Gravel? Riordan isn't an option because his sidequest cannot be progressed at this point in the story.

IMO it's the biggest flaw of this game: The dev don't have a definite direction / vision / plan, solely let Money (Patreon vote) leads the way.
It gains you more money in the short term, but the game will eventually become a incoherent mess. It will also leads to tons of other game development problems (scope creep, abandonment, etc).
You can already see how messy the polls get. As well as your doubt on the new poll change.
It works for games structured as a 'Hub' that access to unrelated contents. But not for a game with a main plot.
Atp, I'm ignoring my moral compass and going for whomever has more content lol

That reminds me, in many Japanese games, where you do need to pick different routes lead to different stories, there'll always be a 3rd 'hidden' harem route / perfect ending route, if you met certain conditions.
But it's almost non-exist in these subscription based games, for their development is too fragmented.

he is really an Alien who could already have many interactions with the other characters in the crew, such as "an attempt to impregnate characters in the crew" and depending on how the story goes he accepts the attempt or not (an attempt to impregnate Bladley could be accepted if you have made it your bitch many times and characters like Feraldo would deny it because they are TOP) this would lead to random scenes in the corridors or night visits to the dorm

If the different routes had similar content length I could see the benefit to have them, but as it stands going Garth isn't very satisfying since Galiano just has more scenes (more than some crew members even).
And tbf it's not like the dev ever stated they wanted it to be fair for everyone since, at least currently, you also get way more content if you're a sub bottom than a dom top (and let's not even get into sub top and dom bottom) but at least story wise both paths should probably be equally enticing in terms of porn amount especially if Garth is the morally "better" option.

This is pretty fair. Even though I'm pretty satisfied with the choice now, mostly for plot reasons, I must admit that for a while it was really tempting to go back and take the Galiano path for my main save because of how much more developed his erotic scenes were compared to Garth's short ones.
The main reason for the difference is clearly the content polls (Galiano won two of the monthly ones and, iirc, he got an extended sequence early on because of a poll too). And while I appreciate that they are the reason why most side characters have art now and Chip got a body and some content, they also really screwed over the less popular characters in terms of sex scenes. (Hopefully Galiano won't be eligible for the upcoming April poll so Garth can get some votes)
He's still on the asteroid, right where he was before in section 1C.
I too wish there was more Garth content. I'm tired of Galiano, and I like the idea of bringing change and improving lives. Pretty bummed that Garth ended up right back where he was after the big revolution.

Oh thanks, I forgot he normally hangs around in section 1C, since it's been so long since the last time he got new content.
For those who chose Garth over Galiano, will his ending still be shit if we choose to side with Holoryx?
