That's what happens when you shift focus to sell paid self-insert opportunities - the sight is no long at the game.
This is so much more corrosive than "Simply" letting Paid Patreons to dictate what content to be worked on (which itself is already a big problem)

Tho I don't know the dev, might also be "End of year busy real life". (Very unlikely tho, the game is stagnate for awhile now)

It's very sad to see this happening because I really had this game as one of my favorites, but I also feel that somehow the game may be coming to an end.
Dev unfortunately created a big problem with paying to implement content within the game he creates, and now it is impossible to reverse all the damage this caused.
And although at first I found it interesting to implement a bit of magic with technology and science covered in the game, clearly the Dev was unable to work on these aspects, because it seems that from the moment the planet with magic was implemented, it's like if it were another game, not to mention the countless humans within a game that takes place in SPACE, where countless races, which are possibly not even formed from carbon, exist. It really is sad and tragic.
Not that I don't like the created humans, excluding the one that is "half snake", but other than that what bothers me is the large number of humans or humanoids.

(There are actually tons of "human in space" porn games with much better arts, non-human ones are super rare)

Keep in mind, the Dev hv every power if they wish to change, the autonomy is still entirely in their hands - simply stop selling more self-insert slots, and filling up alien contents that hv been negated forever now.
The fact is they don't want to change, but further into the money side.
Patreon don't hold them hostage, but the desire to get more money does.

Holy shit, now that you mention the magic school will be his gold farm with the character inserts and stuff. I hope at least something interesting can come out of this, but I really think the game and the direction of it really changed, which is a shame.
I think the last character I really liked when he was added was Thuul, and then the vampire because I love vampires, but only for that reason, and even so I still found corrupted vampires more interesting.
And in a way I understand the thought of doing what makes the most profit, but I think there could be a balance in this aspect, because I think even Dev himself is unmotivated in working/developing something that wasn't created by him .
Anyway, now I hope that another game with aliens comes along for me.

Hi, how are you? Just to let you know, from what I've played (I downloaded it just yesterday) I'm loving it, the missions, the characters, the battles (although it's not much, but I appreciate it) even though we can't see our character, I liked the options to customize it (futa woman with super long hair and brown eyes with the most we can choose for our little friend hehe) and the option to recruit someone or not.
Maybe they'll add more things later but from what I've seen I'm loving it.
Keep up the good work and I hope you finish the great game you're developing, I hope you don't remove the cheats hehe

I really despise this whenever I see it pop up. I want to see the artist's work with their uncorrupted vision, not whatever their wealthiest patreon subscribers dictate to them. Imagine how many good games would be ruined if a bunch of randos got to stick their hand in the pot.

my main thing is now that there isn't any actual "art" in the game or like how it used to be, and I feel like the creator is just writing and giving sprites but thats it, and its like the fact thats there's really only two interactable scenes and two or one Cgs is whats kinda killing the game for me

I know this idea is probably insufferable and useless to nearly all of you but if someone could just take this game's art and use AI or something to make them all dickgirls I expect this game would be one of my favorites. Obviously all of the scenes and character descriptions would need to be changed to correspond to every love interest having feminine curves instead of (or in addition to) hard muscles but it would open this game up to an entire new audience... that you guys probably have no interest in and believe is already well served.

I literally can't stand bara despite being a bear myself (I know you're the superior sort of gays whatever dude) but really if this game had a futa femdom mode it would literally steal Fenoxo's/Savin's whole fanbase. Those games kinda fell off I mean they ight but they're sort of repetitive.

Also i love COC2 (Corrupt of Champions) and TITS (Trials In a Tainted Space) but they literally corner your character to fuck woman/futa, force your character to be aroused with them and well, as a gay men, let me tell you that this really bugs me out, and the difference between the number of woman/futa and men/monster men is ridiculous, its been MONTHS since they expanded a content with a men character, its just woman and futa. So yeah, people pay Fenoxo/Savin to write more woman/futa in the game and people pay Xperiment here to write and make more men/monster men in this game.

I also agree with you, I really like this game because I also play coc and trials in tainted space but it has become almost unfeasible for me to play because there is so much hetero content that I almost don't even think of a man and when I think it's bad I can enjoy it... in the end Currently I've been playing Lust Odyssey and Lustful Desire because they both have a similar feel. I'm playing Lust Odyssey in Portuguese because I can translate the texts into Portuguese because I don't speak or read English very well.

I have noticed a pattern recently with the game also, first we had Edward who is IDENTICAL to Gunnar from Lustful Desires (even had the horse scene) and now we have Redridge Academy from Lust for Adventure (worse update ever) which will probably continue for about 6 months... I left my feedback and stopped supporting today after being a supporter since release.

No one said it that "lust odyssey is only for gay men" =) i think that person said "the very gay game" bc the majority of people that plays/are fans of lust odyssey ARE gay men, i didn't make any research on it nor have a statistic to show you, but that's a fact.

Even in my comment i maked sure that i said it that the fanbase are mostly gay men AND people who are into men/monster men ^^ and even though the game allows you to play as female, the creator of the game said it that the game its more cater towards homo audience, and if you play with a men character, you have more content and sex scenes lol, its similar to how Lustful Desires works.

So, yea, the audience is more towards gay/bi men and woman, even though i barely see any woman that plays. (and most of the backers in the patreon are men, i subscribed once and joined the discord server.)

Yes, Fenoxo is so aversive to gay and straight female players that every complaint from them gets bombarded with negativity from either Fenoxo or other players. Honestly, I'm sick of catering games to straight male players, gay/straight female/lesbian players(especially fmc games)are the least represented.

Hahaha, a few days ago I commented about the game itself and it seems like Dev read the comments on this thread, but in the end whoever will win the vote among SO MANY aliens will be a human, that even Phoenix has more content than anyone else alien there, and Arthur will probably win.
Even though he hasn't received attention for a while, he still has more content than our dear red alpha
