Just do what you think is right. I chose Holoryx bcuz I wanted to top the insectoid, but I'm pretty sure he doesn't have any sex scenes yet.

The only consequence is after choosing Nikolaos, Holoryx hunts you down later on, and you imprison him.

When the dev updates the university arc, the changelogs are shorter but the content is bigger in-game.

dunno if anyone does edit their saves (and it's been a while since I've played this) but somehow, after editing my save file, I can't play the file anymore???

of course it works
but naturally if a newer version implements let's say new items of course the older version doesn't have those in the code
but exp, currency, quantity of items belonging to the cheats version you're playing there's no problem

Really? But I kinda worry about the cheat but you can put on this cheat for us, but only work or not.
