I like the setup. The first time through that day, the game won't give you any interesting choices. That makes perfect sense. It's not really an interesting day in the protagonist's life. He's playing it safe, makes reasonable choices, or chooses not to act at all, rather than acting like the protagonist in a porn-game. When he realizes that his actions might not have any consequences, that's when the actual game begins (...and ep.1 ends).
I'm curious which format the dev will go for (Sandboxy / Kagetsu Tohya-style / Higurashi-like, i.e. arcs accessed by newly added dialogue options / a more meta approach like in Save the Date / etc). Paths for debauchery and self-improvement are obvious, but how will they handle developing relationships if only one person retains their memories. Anyway, interesting start.
