Ren'Py - Lust Theory [v0.8.3] [Inceton Games]

Look the models are hot, and the story is unique. This could've easily been a 5 star game if it didn't CONSTANTLY employ the same cheap tricks to stop the players from finally getting what they want. For example, premature ejaculation is somehow a plot device. It happens when the mc "isn't expecting to get intimate with someone" and even when he does foresee it, he still cums fast. So what's the point of repeating the day and knowing what's about to happen? How come he never tries to see if he can go a second time? After a certain point, the mc comes across as really pathetic despite being well-endowed. What teenager would leave a thressome behind because he came quick? This guy was literally balls-deep fucking his mom and she fell asleep and he went limp... despite the entire first season being about him molesting her while she sleeps. I know that repetition is a theme but you want it to give you results eventually. This game has far too much grind for the amount of actual sex you get (at this point in the story), and since the dialogue repeats over and over with slight variation, it comes across as lazy.

Also, the large number of renders in the changelog is a bit misleading since there are many scenes where you're just getting different angles on boob and underskirt shots.

Despite all the teasing, the game overall is still a good time, but after all these updates, there's been very little payoff for the mc. The most notable one was that first sex scene with the mom.

One of my favorite games to play. Developer doesn't push the updates with sexy stuff around, all in all great quality content. Sexy models, good gameplay with an interesting storyline. Hope, that more developers would switch vom rpgmaker to renpy.

You just got to live a Groundhog day as a pervert teenage surrounded by attractive and -not-that-innocent- ladies. I love the taboo, the art, and despite lacking bit of action this is really a great game (and a good fap tbh ).

Of course you could say that "how come you can turn an hateful b*tch into an almost submissive cousin/roomie whatever, just within the same day" ? Well just groundhog it and I ensure you it makes sens.

I was a huge fan of Mia's adventures, I wasn't disappointed, but then again, I had the "luck" to discover the game at Ep 9, thus maybe didn't faced the frustration some other might have had.

God knows how this had 5 Stars. The game is so restrictive & linear I honestly can't believe a second one has been made. there is no option to repeat or further relationships with ANYONE in the game it has to be one of the most boring game on this site.

The whole story/game seems so amateurish, sure the female characters are nice, but the rest of it is just plain boring.

Pro's : Female characters are attractive

Con's : The whole groundhog day scenario is just overdone and boring.
There is so very little to the story, not much imagination was put in into this at all.
It has taken a long time for the dev to have any playable content.
Completion of female character tasks is very short, completion is simple and then there is nothing left.
Again the whole story/game is just unimaginative and boring.
Animations are average and very short, not interesting.


There are other games that are so much better, this one is just not worth the download unless desperation sets in.

- Render quality is outdated, they push out thousands of renders that all look decent, but not great

The premise is promising but in the end - nothing you do actually changes anything.

The game has interesting characters and good renders but it could have been so much more. I hope for a lot more good stuff in Season 2.

The renders in this game are good quality. The girls are very attractive and the voice acting is good. It really adds to the game. Gave personality to the girls and helps keep me engaged. I wasn't speed clicking through the story just to get to the sex. All around a good game.

i'd give this more stars if i could. i feel like this game has all the elements of being one of the best erotic games. i really like that there's voicing and overall it feels like the various aspects of the game from the sort of VN light gameplay to the voicing and script adds to or enhances the effect of the sexual content.

it does however feel disjointed in some ways. almost as though the game started out with one creator and then hired a director midway thru but i really like the direction it's going.

most of the voicing works however i think the older sister doesn't sound like an older sister in voice tone/texture that makes it a bad match for the older sister script and model. she sounds more like a mother character. i feel like the younger sister's voice actually sounds more like a late or mid 20s older sister character. i think the younger sister character would benefit from a more late teenage/early-college sounding voice texture/feel.

i actually think the pricing modelling is rather fair and actually kinda makes sense but i do think without a more unified and polished product, it might seem in bad taste in a largely amateur market. i think having multiple codes to remove ads is kinda annoying instead of just 1 code to remove all ads or having the game detect patreon membership ideally (like the NLT auto-updater/launcher). i feel like this game very much has the elements to be a competitor to NLT games in terms of comprehensive production quality (whereas a lot of amateur games tend to have for example amazing visuals but non existent or poor aspects in coding, often no voicing, sometimes no music, sometimes no animations etc. since they're often all being done by one person and don't have a budget to hire coders/voice actors/directors/writers/riggers etc.)

i do think some of the animations are a bit too robotic and almost break immersion slightly but it didn't bother me too much. it would be cool to see the animations improve in future games tho if devs are looking to improve in any way they can.

the whole sexual version of ground hog day premise i think maybe sort of makes this more easy to overlook than the older sister's voice texture for example. the writing is definitely hitting a sweet spot of realistic in some ways but ultimately surreal just like its ground hog day premise which i personally like a lot because hyper-realistic writing in erotic games don't appeal to me. every game is going for a different thing but i strongly feel like if an erotic game is going to be more realistic, it should lean toward surreal or magic realism like Dreams of Desire or this, otherwise i think a more fantastic sexual fantasy feel is more attractive than just hyper-realistic.

Good points:

+Great buildup without awful grinding, takes things slow and by step
+Has animations, which again are decent although they are more like 2-3 second ones
+Now doesn't have ads
+all of the main characters are addressed somewhat equally
+dev created summer with mia, which is also a good game

Disadvantages:
-poor communication & lack of consistent updates
-unclear future story and buildup,seems like the devs are in a dead end at the moment of where to progress
-They divided the game into season 1 and season 2, which means you cant play all the replays from 1 launhced game, you will have to relaunch it each time or launch simulatiously and alt tab in between.
-Not many sex scenes

5 stars just because I expect the game to progress better. At the moment it is a solid 4.

EDIT: The overhaul s1ep10 made the first season even better with animations and slightly more content. However it is not what the playerbase wanted. Fingers crossed they do what everyone wants. Voiced characters is cool but I don't really think they match to everyone's expectations.

Superb. The animations are great, the renders high quality and unique - not standard run of the mill models.

What really sets this title apart is the game play loop and story which is actually fun. I don't think I skipped a single line of dialogue. The build up to the sex scenes are also very well thought out and the incest and corruption is executed close to perfectly. Including the actual sleep sex scenes which are more than typical jerking off over a sleeping person. The choices are nice, the variety is there and a ton of content overall.

It's high on my best-of list.

This quickly became one of my favourite games. Excellent premise, brilliant modelling (which avoided making the models look similar to other games), and well written. Only played through season one so far, but very much looking forward to season two. Wonderful, simply wonderful.

One of the best games on site. Amazing visuals and writing that can match Dreams of Desire. Also gameplay really solid and doesn't need walkthrough to not miss any content. Game is like porn version of metroidvania where your knowledge and key items open new paths. Developer did pretty good job to avoid repetitiveness.

For a whole season the game was busy with dragging itself through endless teasing, cliches, cheap cliffhangers and cockblocks. Only to end up in square one again and again.
The story never advances anywhere, and it seems that the game was structured this way just so it can be a huge milkfest.

Characters have inconsistent pacing, progression or personality. You blackmail a teacher, then she flirts with you. The landlady is a alcoholic bitch, after one drunk night she's all over you. Same goes for the young roommate, she avoids you and after getting her drunk she is also into you. Some characters just feel like a distraction, like the cosplayer who just appears every now and then to either tease or distract from the impasse that is the plot.

I was hesitating about rating 'average' because some of the characters are fucking hot but that it's not enough for a game to be great, my rate is based on a regular writing and an awful pace.

I think bad pacing is the most common problem with devs and comic creators these days, they just can't get around this, it's like they are more concentrated in 'the likes' or the suscribers than the game itself.

Or may be it is their lack of life experience so they don't understand human relations at all (most of the cases it's like they think you can 'level' in sex like you do in an mmorpg game), and their writing skills are bad (if you are making a story you should at least be reading some books and learning your craft).

Sorry if this was too long to read, but I really think devs should be paying more atention to the pacing of the stories.

Review for S2:E1 (Not for Season 1, Reposted from Original S2 Thread)

There's nothing here for you. Same bullshit, different day. You continue getting cockblocked and continue to deal with the bullshit drama from all the bitchy stuck up chicks in this game.

Maybe the payoff will be worth the wait, but I doubt it. Season 2 is just a repeat of everything that was wrong with the first Season (Renders being the exception) and will likely end the same way with one sex scene in the final episode.

I'm usually here for the story, and the sex secondary. But I question how long the developer can keep such a story going before he deals us a pathetic, washed out, unoriginal, unimaginative, half-baked ending.

One of the best games out there today. Beautiful characters and an amusing plot. My only negative is MC's haircut. and since we seldom see the MC - how great is that? It hits all the best tropes - sexy teacher - sexy mother - absent father - dismissive older sister - younger sister and her friend...but in a unique way

S2E1

This could have been a really good game but the MC is one of the worst i've seen, to the point that at times it makes you want to close the game. The story feels stagnant, i know it's a porn game, but it needs a lot more characters/story development

On the other hand, the girls are beautiful, the game has amazing graphics and the animations are great too

I'm really liking the game so far. I finished Season 1 of the game and loved it and I couldn't wait for Season 2.

The game has fantastic graphics as the girls all have great designs and the renders are very high quality. The story is interesting with the 'groundhog' day premise and I'm looking forward to see how the story continues and how the relationships advance with the girls. The premise allows for a lot of potential with how they can take the game and I trust Inceton to do a good job with it and wrap up the stories of the character's nicely.

Although there isn't a significant amount of sexual content, I find the story and especially the romance to be very interesting and this is my favourite part of AVNS, the story and romance. If you're not much into story or romance and are looking for fap content, this probably isn't the game for you but I still highly recommend it.

My main issue with the game is the stupidity of the MC. I saw it with Summer With Mia and I'm seeing it again now. Without giving away many spoilers for the game, the MC just lacks basic social skills and empathy. He does not know how to handle situations well and is a complete idiot in many cases, often acting like a complete jerk. I hope this changes as I do not like to play this type of character.

Overall, I highly recommend the game and am looking forward to where they take the story, especially Megan who is my favourite character

[review of chapter 1-9]

It's Groundhog Day with a porn twist. It's innovative and it works! I really enjoyed this game. It's really a shame that it took me this long to discover this game.

Pros:
+ The best animations. Seriously the animations are absolutely top tier, maybe the best I've ever seen in a porn game. Fappability is through the roof!
+ Sex scenes are meaningful to the story. This is actually quite rare in a porn game.
+ Extremely beautiful models. These are also absolutely top tier and rivals even the biggest titles on this site.
+ Interesting story. The how and why about why the MC is stuck in a loop is hinted at sometimes and you can occasionally glimpse "glitches in the matrix" to keep you intrigued.
+ Good writing. The dialogues feel natural and are not cringe-inducing even though the scenes are sometimes absurd. That's actually really hard to pull off, so props for that!
+ Character development. You start out as shy and timid but as MC realizes his actions don't really have consequences (or do they?!?) He starts becoming a cocky badass. I like it!
+ Awesome cliffhanger ending. What a great "oh shit"-moment! Well done!

Cons
- Mom sleep incest is mandatory to progress the story. It felt a bit too rapey for my tastes and I'm not a huge mom incest fan so I would have appreciated if that content was skippable.
- I Didn't really like the teacher arc, and that it was required to unlock it in order to progress with the other characters.
- "Finish the other characters first to progress"-gatekeeping of content. See points 1&2 on this cons list. Not a huge fan of this.
- "Mom" character feels a bit copy/pasted from that other mom+sisters incest game which shall not be named. Actually now that I think about it a lot of the characters seem a bit derivative of that game. In the end it doesn't really matter much as Echoes of Lust is clearly both better written and with way hotter scenes.

Summary:
All in all this is a really good game with stunning visuals and an interesting story. If mom/sister incest is your thing then you will be absolutely blown away. If not, it's still a really really good game and very fappable. Warmly recommended.
