This work has cost me 6 hours a day for the last 2 months, plus the 8 hours of my normal job, which makes a total of 14 hours a day to be able to get ahead in my life and in this project. Next week my idea was to release version 0.5 for free. I will also open a page on Subscriberstar soon for those who would like to support my project with other payment methods. This is the work of one person, and this type of distribution is completely ruining it, putting the continuity of the project at risk. For those who really liked it and want to help, you are always welcome.
Havent played since 0.3 version. Should I wait more updates? (There is no changelog, so I have no clue if there is enough content to return or not)

The reality is that this site is a double-edged sword. You will get paying members from here and good advertisement for your game, but you will also have to deal with the reality that this a pirate site first and foremost, and games will be leaked and uploaded. There really isn't much you can do about it apart from keep making the game you want to make and hope it gets the support it deserves. I will be totally honest with you the thing that stopped me supporting was the fact that I would pay $5 a month and still be waiting 3 days after release to get the game by which time it's usually leaked on here, so it feels not so good from a paying supporter pov. If the tiers all got the game on the day of release, I would happily support again, obviously that's just me and I don't know if others feel the same way. Maybe it could be worth a try to gain more supporters.

I support numerous Devs on patreon, Subscribstar, all of them I found on this zone. I normally would not even see these projects without this site. If they are good and I enjoy I generally go over and support. Devs should look at this site as free advertising for those that want to support in a longer term instead of who will buy just to play and then end their subscription until they feel like trying it again.

The free version of the previous version (0.5) will be released a week after the new one, so it's not that you can't access the game without paying, it's just that you don't want to wait. I understand that it can be leaked, but I also understand that you would at least wait until all the paid patrons had downloaded it first, just one more week, for the good of the project. Then the economic impact wouldn't have been so noticeable. But by the time you leaked it here, new subscribers stopped coming and many started leaving, but you still say it's for my own good. It's totally contradictory, you say you like it and can't wait to download it, but on the other hand you're doing something that threatens the continuity of the project.
I've just seen on other pirate sites that the link to my project has also been leaked (first it was here) and it has almost 5000 downloads while I haven't even reached 100 subscribers. If this was really such good publicity, with only 10% of that I would have 500 subscribers and I wouldn't be affected by this. You can try to justify it to make yourself feel better, but you are simply wrong, and if you had at least waited a little longer, I might even have benefited from this publicity, and I would have no problem participating in this forum again. But unfortunately that was not the case.

Are you replying to me? I have never leaked/uploaded the game and never will. Also, a bit of general advice about the piracy numbers. I would actually avoid looking at those as you cannot control them and it will only lead to anger and frustration, just concentrate on what you can control. Who knows maybe even some of those that do download from those places will become supporters. Maybe the reality is that although the game is fantastic and original, it's just too niche to gain a large amount of supporters.

Everything is now behind a paywall. content I have seen previously is locked. No where near newer content. totally why everyone is leaving.
