How in the world are you supposed to prepare for the town fights? After five or six in game days, I tried a battle in the first town, and got absolutely destroyed. I was hardly doing any damage and they killed both my characters in two hits.

I don't remember the first town being that hard but if you are having a hard time you can hire people and use them. I don't remember the exact stats that is needed on the fights but hiring people is the way to complete it.

I actually did mean to go back and delete my comment, as I was able to make some progress. One of the problems was that I was trying Miki's first story battle FIRST, and somehow missing the message about it being very challenging. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The next game will be released in mid-October.
It will be much shorter, as the developer has said goodbye to his former colleagues and is developing the game alone.
So it is unlikely to expect a continuation of the previous games.
