Hence, why dev's response to jimskeleton is a bit confusing.
He's saying it's technically not incest, but regardless of which personality (Inei or Ren) characters like Akira and Mirai end up romancing (that is it they do end up being LIs), it's incest.
Not sure whether it's due to the dev not knowing the definition of incest on this site (the zone), hmmm.....

Some of the LIs could also be on both paths, so it will be hard to determine.
So far, I do not like either personality better, but I like Inei's girls more so far.

I do understand why some people may not like Inei's edgy/asshole like personality, though I think comparing purely on both their backgrounds I just prefer Inei's background more.

Goes through hardship after hardship as well as trauma after the whole initial village getting destroyed, being taken in by his Master, and working in a covert organization called DEVA.

Grows up being loved by everyone in his Family as well as the servants (e.g. Nobume), people in the company as well.

Ren's background just doesn't interest me tbh.

I agree. I think tags should generally be known ahead of time so that people who like/dislike them can either come or go. "Harem" could mean a lot of things.

I have seen some devs try to experiment with "partial harem" with their games, but there aren't that many of those sorts out there.
Not sure whether this game's dev is looking to go the same approach, but it feels like at this point the degree of harem seem more stacked in Inei's favor somehow.

Yeah, I think the dangling was more blatant in terms of Akira with her embracing and trying to spend more and more time with MC (meanwhile Mirai, despite her hugs and affections, her actions can actually quite possibly be just interpreted as just sibling love).

Tbh I'm not even sure how a Ren path would even properly work in terms of the story.
It's been set up from beginning as Inei is the dominant personality with Ren being the receding personality (and in terms of Grandpa's story about MC's mom's experiment, he implies original personality actually gets erased and new personality gets "reborn" with each death.
Yet, Ren's personality still exists, just seems caged in a mind world.

Given Inei has been the vehicle driving the story, how are these Ren romances supposed to happen? Most of the time Inei is in control (being rude, edgy etc lol), but for a 10~30 minute date with a LI, Ren takes over?
I dunno. Even if I didn't have the whole preference (of Inei over Ren), following Inei's path (with just using Ren as needed/required for emergencies) seems to make most sense if we're looking at this purely in narrative pov.

It probably doesn't help that Mirai hasn't really spoke yet but so far I've not seen anything other than a doting little sister, she does seem attached, but no signs of jealousy so far like Akira.

I agree, it's definitely going to be interesting to see where the dev goes with all this, I think he has the basis of a very good VN, you don't have your typical cookie cutter story and MC, it's not got a lot of attention yet but if the dev can pull it off this could be a really good VN.

Even if adopted, it would still count as incest by this site's definition: Sex act between family relatives, including those not related by blood. So as long as it is family, it will count.

A couple of Akira's lines during the reveal of what's happened with MC's personality was something along the lines of 'why are Yagami family members like this' & 'I thought I was also part of this family' not exact quotes without checking but it was something similar, so maybe she isn't even adopted either, but then they do call each other brother/sister, so again who really knows.

I think the thing that bother's me most about Inei is not that he is edgy, but more so how he acts in the new environment. If I was contacted by my potential family and wanted to learn more, I would not try to alienate them but bring them into my trust to use them.

Generally, forcing a player to pick girls in a harem game does not go down well if not made clear from the beginning. Will be interesting to see how it works as some of the girls hate each other (twins and the blond girl for example).

Yeah at this point in the story Luna literally wants to kill Diana & Artemis, but given that Luna likes MC I'm sure he can bring her around, and considering the admiration that Diana & Artemis have for MC for however he saved them in the past I would assume they would literally do anything he asked.

I think in terms of Inei, as Luna and Ren both remarked about him, he has severe trust issues.
And being with his master for so long probably a lot of his master's traits rubbed off on him becoming a huge influence.

I see his trust issue to be edged sword really.
On one hand, being on guard all the time and alienating a potential family shuts down the risk of exposing himself to people that are basically strangers to him (and possibly being played/tricked if it ever is), but on the other hand it also presents a problem as you said if he opens up there's possibility for more information/resources he might be able to obtain that he just won't get by shutting them out.

I like both sisters, so I do hope both are LIs.

MC tried to play the mediator by asking Luna "Can't you forgive them?" which Luna flat out said "No" so I am wondering if MC will try direct face to face mediation of Luna and the twins (of course, this could turn out to be a disaster and the whole meeting place could turn out to be a warzone. First it was the drone......next? )

Considering how bad the only sex scene in the game is, short, no build-up, only few renders, barely any text at all and there is a big NSFW warning before the scene, it must've been really uncomfortable for the dev to write that one. I sincerely doubt in his ability to write anything sexual at all and the story itself is quite good without that. Would be probably better to drop the sex stuff completely and leave it at the pg13 content. Not sure why the game is even here in the adult games section.

Exactly what you said. Kuro wanted to make this game completely SFW when he decided to remake it. I think his patrons convinced him not to do so later. Still,he is very unwilling to write sex scenes. Maybe he should just drop sex in this game though,if that is really not what he wants.

that first scene doesn't need a build up at all and this being on adult site is the best way possible for financial support he'll need for the development
