Making a poll consisting of characters he is interested in isnt really all that different from what he was doing before. In fact I fail to see the difference.

Doing 2 projects like he promised for project 20 and taking a month off was a step in the right direction. Mackg4s fan base grew because of his original models. Even now whenever he posts his originals like So Yeon the post gets more engagement and likes. It's a shame that he continues to do these polls of anime characters instead of making original content using his own original models.Damn I was hoping So-yeon would win. It looks like project 21 is going to be same as 20 which had heavy anime aesthetic. There was a comment on his kemono page telling him to rotate characters who've already been in a project out and keep the characters who've not received their own projects in future polls. That way eventually everyone will get their characters project made.
The way it is now some characters will NEVER get their own projects like Julien(femboy), Chun-Li, Ada Wong, Marie rose (Mack did a mini Marie rose project because she didn't win) etc. Also some of his characters are too fucking hot like So yeon who got three projects so far and has alot of fans like atleast 1/3 of his fantasy always votes for So yeon.
The main draw of mackg4 is the focus on femdom, cuckold, sissy fetish aesthetics. Virt-a-mate blacked/interracial videos are dime a dozen. Almost every other VAM artist has done it but what makes mackg4 special is all the erotic fetishes he incorporates in his videos. If you guys want just straight fucking go watch the dozens of vanilla blacked vam videos on rule34 and mechanima.
I'd say the first video for project 20 had an anime aesthetic, the character itself seemed pretty anime to me. As for the femboy video, I'd say it's more in line with his normal work.
And yeah the poll situation is weird for me. He said this time he only included characters he wants to work on. My takeaway from this is that in past polls he included characters that usually received pretty high number of votes but did not win, and not ones he wants to work on. This time tho, for project 21, he is only including characters he wants to make a project of, irrespective of the past votes. Thats the only way I can reconcile what he said. Otherwise it looks like he is doing the same thing again, which wont solve his problems.

The femboy aimi that he did for project 20 is not his original character. It's gelatomusume's character and his art is very anime like. Still mackg4 did it in a way that brought the character as close to a real femboy as possible. In my opinion his hottest femboy is Julien (macks original afaik) who has yet to receive a project. I think he really liked julien as a character too because he did like 2 mini videos with Julien.
