can be few things, if it is a bug, save to different slot and load it and see if it works. It can be also day/night cycle so try during morning and night

I remember im using this path to save the fatguy. it opened for me for some reason. maybe at 1 time i stumbled upon prison backdoor when exploring but i decided to go back. maybe the game recognized the visit? no clue.

i was using luxury bed.

The try a normal bed, I have had Shino’s and Reika’s second scene doing that and John has had Mermaid’s.
